Has anyone talked to Krunch recently. I've sent him PM's with no response. About three weeks ago he said he was not feeling well and then.........

Contact

Sephrena is in contact with our dear nautical literary enabler (we're all addicted to Christina Chase). He's simply busy, not gone. Real life must come first, after all!

Are you trying to tell me....

Angharad's picture

...that Christina Chase didn't write the Admiral Krunch stories? I can't believe it. It's heresy! We all know that Admiral Krunch is one of the best novels on topshelf. Separate life from fiction, indeed!

What is this...

"real life" thing you are talking about? I'm looking forward to reading the further Adventures of Admiral Krunch on the High Seas. I hope Chris Chase is up to the task.

Annette

I've also been in contact.

he's promised to send me part 44 (soon ), Gwen
But as Sephy said, he's hurting, and it is making it hard for him to write.

One of the most difficult things to give away is kindness.
It usually comes back to you.

Any Updates?

Anyone have any updates on the mighty Admiral?

Tribute

A true tribute to an author's skill is when his/her readers pine for their return, me included. I hope he hasn't lost interest in the story.

I am a grain of sand on a near beach; a nova in the sky, distant and long.
In my footprints wash the sea; from my hands flow our universe.
Fact and fiction sing a legendary song.
Trickster/Creator are its divine verse.

Me, I Have Enjoyed Admiral Krunch's Saga And I...

hope that he is able to return to penning his story soon. I have come to look forward to the weekly installments. I know that we all wish the good Admiral well and rest up and relax.

Hope he comes back soon also

However I have always wondered as to why he chose to write a transgender themed story in the first place ?

Curious

Why should the choice of pen-name have such a profound effect on your expectations? He's a wonderful writer, and Christina Chase is one of the most popular stories here. That's good enough for me.

Sighting!

Had a lovely chat with the Admiral the other evening in chatroom 1 over on storysite (for you IRC-heads, that's irc.tgsa.net,6667 -- #tg_fiction_general_chat).

He's been busy with work as well as coping with a painful flareup of an old injury which sort of disrupted his normal routine. He says things seem to be getting a little back to normal now and if he and Holly Logan get a chance to work on it, he might even have a new installment for us this Friday.

Whether he does or not, I'm so happy just to hear from him! I think he's a wonderful person, with a great sense of humor and a lot of insight into people, transgendered and otherwise. I've missed him in the chatroom even more than I've missed Christina Chase here.
