As most of you have probably noticed, I haven't sponsored any contests so far this year because I have had to save up for a medically necessary procedure for which I was unable to get treatment for in Virginia. Now that I have flown halfway around the world and gotten it taken care of, I can now get back to putting together an honest to goodness contest for us in October.
I know October has Halloween and all, but I want this year's contest to be on a different take. I'm still plying about for some ideas and if anyone has any, feel free to pm me them. ^^
examples:
Halloween Ball, Prom Dance, Office get-together ... these are some of the ones I had mulled upon.
Anyhow... pm me any ideas you have and I'll put the contest together with cash prizes again ^^

A contest sounds like a good idea but I think Erin was still working on the last one so may want to check with her first.
Love the idea
As a writer who takes months or even years to complete a story, I love the idea of giving us a few months to get a story together. I think a variation of the normal Halloween along the lines you suggest would be great.
Go for it.
Incidentally, it's not the prize which is important to me - it's doing well in the competition.
