I heard good things about a book called "FreakBoy", just yesterday from my younger cousin.
It is partly a trans-story, well written, and she now is contact with the authoress thank to a writer's workshop.
So, try "Freakboy" by Kristin Elizabeth Clark.
I am going to try reading it soon, maybe.
