Cycling in the UK?

Hi

As some of you know for a long time I've been suffering difficulties with my health, most of the issues have centered around my hands but most recently I suffered a stroke that I'm still recovering from, during my time in hospital I was informed that evidence had been found of a previous stroke (I had no idea).

Update

Because of my stroke and heart issues I had visit my Endocronologist again 5 days ago, I've been told to stop my HRT for 6 weeks during this time I also have to quit smoking (no lectures please, I'm well versed in the evils of smoking and it means nothing to an addict)

I've procured some help to quit so hopefully next week I will be smoke free. After 6 weeks and so long as I've quit my Endo will put me on a new gel based HRT that will supposedly cut my risk of clotting due to HRT, still no date for the heart procedure though.

Just when you think christmas couldn't get any worse

Just returned home after spending christmas in hospital, had a stroke on christmas eve causing me to lose my mobility and speach, turns out I have a tiny hole in my heart, probably there since birth that caused a clot that blocked the vessels leading to my cerebellar for long enough to kill a number of cells that control movement, speach and balance.

My speach and balance are better now but my left arm has problems with fine motor control. I've been told there was evidence of a previous stroke and will need to have the hole in my heart blocked to prevent further risk of stroke.

Dormice

Hi,

Anybody know if there who to notify if I've found evidence of dormice? I'm in the West Midlands and was helping my partner sort out our new alotment next to the canal when I spotted a hazelnut, at first I though it was a snail but on closer inspection I found it was a hazelnut that had a hole nibbled in it and the inside was hollow.

I brought it home and looked online and found it looks exactly like the chewed hazelnut of dormice.
