My Reading Blog

Blog About:

I have been a member of this website for nearly 3 weeks, although I discovered it about 4 weeks or so ago. It's wonderful, and I'm sad that I didn't find it before.

I have enjoyed many stories so far - and a few not so much. But I am beginning to lose track of what I've read so I reckoned I should start this blog. It will only relate to my reading experiences-there are better places for a general blog. And this is mostly for my own record, mostly because I don't suppose anyone else would be interested in it, although readers are welcome, as are comments / PMs.

I have found some firm favourites on this site. At the moment my favourite few stories are:

  • "Almost A Girl" by Barbie Lee
  • "Easy As Falling Off A Bike" by Angharad
  • "Changes" by Susan Brown

The stories that appeal most to me are the ones that could happen, even though their events are as likely to happen as a storyline in a soap drama... What I mean is that they don't depend on the element of magic. Not that I don't enjoy those stories, but they have a different sort of appeal.

Well I have kicked off this blog so thats all for now. I can expand on my thoughts about individual stories in future posts.

....it's a very good thing for folks like us to discuss what we like to read. I;m glad you posted this! And welcome by the way!

Welcome.

What a good idea. I rely upon my browser's recently visited links utility, but that is of very limited applicability.

As an avid reader, I welcome pointers to good stories, from A Comedy of Errors to Whately Academy; and anything that contributes to the community is good.

Regards,

Chris.
