Problem with the Home Page after logging in

I have now tried in Firefox and IE, but once I log in, the home page no longer shows the options under a heading of my user name. You know the list saying Home, Add A Story, Category Browser, Forums etc etc etc ending with Log Out.

I have to select my name from the list of who's online, or from the authors list, before I get the panel.

Just sayin'

Yep.

I just discovered that as well, but I hadn't got around to pm'ing Erin. I thought I'd let the poor kid have some sleep.

Ahah, it's just come back on the blog page. Good girl Erin. Thanks.

Just noticed the same thing.....

I thought that I was no longer logged in for a moment!

No major issue - just a little different looking this morning! Of course after about 90 minutes of sleep last night, everything looks different this morning.

{I leave a trail of Kudos as I browse the site. Be careful where you step!}

yes, this is not...

The first time this has ever happened. I'm sure it will be corrected when Erin has time to, let's just all be patient. Loving Hugs Talia

What's also strange...

...is that if you go to the bottom of the list of stories on the Home Page and click Next, you then get a mixture of stories and blogs on the successive pages.

It makes it quite hard to find stories posted (say) a week ago.

Next page

The next page is the way it is supposed to work. The front page also contains both stories and blogs, they are just sorted there. If you want just stories use the Stories link next to the Home link at the top of the page.

Working on this

First I had to figure out how to get the problem to appear for me. It seems to have something to do with caching. The last time this happened it cleared up fairly quickly all by itself and we never did figure out exactly what went wrong.

Piper and I will be working on this.

Problems

Just remember that any problem that goes away by itself is sure to return!

We seem to have fixed it

It appears to have been a corrupted cache on the server.
