2 years, 6 hours? One of us is mistaken.

I created my account at around 1am on Monday the FOURTH of October, 2010. If I've been a member for 2 years and six hours when today is only the THIRD of October, then perhaps the counter simply overlooked the fact that this year was a leap year?
Is there anybody who's been a REGISTERED member here since 28th February 2008 or earlier, who can remember the EXACT day AND time that they registered, accurate to within an hour either side? Does your counter show something other than your perceived membership period?
Anyway, my second BCTSiversary shall be celebrated TOMORROW.

Uh oh....

perhaps some nanobots escaped from a story and started rewriting history?

Oddity

There's an oddity of how some computer algorithms count leap years; they don't count the year as having an extra day until it is over. Stupid but simpler code.

Anyway, happy birthday. :)

Hugs,
Erin

Ah. :'D

Fair enough. From this information I'll just assume that the counters will correct themselves when we enter the next year. = )

*Huggles* ^_^

...Oh, and proper reflection/celebration tomorrow.

Erin would remember

When she made the big change years back from the old BC software to the software being used now, all of us who were already members got our dates reset as I recall. This would have been 6 1/2 years ago, going by my own date. I don't believe any effort was made to correct each member date, they were far too busy moving the oldest stories manually as their formatting didn't match the new software.

Not that it matters, I can't remember when I joined anyway! They say your memory is the first thing to go, where I don't remember for sure. The doctors said this would eventually clear up, but when? My quad bypass was almost a year and a half ago and it hasn't yet!
