When the rapist is the victim

Yesterday I reread an old story of Lorrain B.
It's the alien within.

The protagonist wakes up in a female body and a male person stalks the new her and is pissed about the protagonist stealing his life/baby. He goes completly bonkers and breaks in and tries to rape the protagonist and to kill the child.
Apparently he's gone completly nuts over a memory wipe/alteration.

Normally you'd disdain and hate such people, but I could only pity him and actually understand his behavior. First he was turned into a female and got a memory dumb, his old life was wiped away. He had to play wife for someone that didn't love him. Later they wipe those new memories and don't even succeed and leave him as a guy. Then he goes bonkers over the fact he's male now, apparently someone has stolen his life and tries to take revenge on the identity stealers.
I guess he tried to kill the kid, because it wasn't really his in the first place, they just made him play mommy, with their memory alteration powers.

In the end the people who did this to him conclude that the humane thing to do to him was to lock him up forever. I mean what the fuck, they use a person as a robot and when it doesn't work as programmed it is put into a funny farm?
Truth to be told, the story is pretty awesome, but the fact that this person never gets his justice really pisses me off. He has been used like a tool, his whole identity has been destroyed and then he's been treated like a minor setback that has to be removed.

I guess it doesn't happen this often that a wannabe rapist and child murderer antagonist is the true victim of the story.

Is Lorraine still writing, or did she actually write a story about that dude?

Well yeah... The protagonist

Well yeah... The protagonist had been set up by his/her own family though, while the antagonist was a victim of mindrape by said family. It's kid of amazing, especially since they're so high and mighty in the following parts of the story.

I mean how cold can someone be? Oh yes, we totally destroyed a person, but don't worry, he's been put into psychatry, you won't see him again.

It kind of freaks me out, when I have more sympathy for the antagonist who is utterly mad and apparently evil, than with the protagonist ;)

Lorraine hasn't been writing much lately ...

and hasn't been online here or the other sites for a few years, but is still alive and kicking.

We visited with her during our move from California to Indianapolis, and still talk to her every week or so.

She is writing a bit, but has a lot of other stuff on her plate.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Also Try....

I am the second of four that saw Lorraine in the Davenport, Iowa area last June. I had lost touch with her because of health reasons. As Holly mentioned she is writing that is at present, a novelette. When it is finished Holly Hart and I will be honored to edit it for her.

As far as the perpetrator be in the victim of a rape try Jenna Hitch and my "Victor and the Witch." Please note the warnings are real.

I guess I'll read

I guess I'll read those...

What do you mean? I guess it happens more than too often that a former victim of rape becomes a rapist him/herself, but that wasn't exactly what happened here :/

About Lorraine, I'm glad she's still alive and kicking. I was wondering since her last story was about 2006 or so.
