Someone recently posted some information about an Electrologist who does facial hair removal with the recipient under full anasthesia. I believe it was in the Dallas area. Does anyone recall who it was and how to get in touch with them?

Speaking from experience...

Go to your doctor, get a prescription for valium (or one of its analogs, a similar muscle relaxant/sedative). Use lidocaine (GOBS of the stuff).
Hydrate yourself and eat well.
Get legally stoned on mother's little helper and let two electrologists go at you at the same time... for three hours or so.

Have someone else drive you home. You'll need a babysitter.

It's fast and won't turn your face to hamburger.
Yes it hurts a little, but you're too relaxed to care.

It'll cost a LOT less than that place seems to charge. You can get discounts for volume work from most reputable electrologists.

Late life hair removal

Thanks. One of the problems with my late life hair removal is that it started turning grey when I was about 35. It started with a white patch above my left ear. Most of my body hair was still dark though and when I was 58 I had full body laser to the tune of about $7000. It has all worked really well with the exception of a few hairs. The exception is my face. It comes in rather heavy, and is all white, so there can be no repeat of Laser there. :( Now I will go see if I can round up some Valium.

E-3000

E-3000 is in Carollton, TX, a suburb of Dallas. It is not bad to get to. They use lidocaine injections and that allows two technicians to work on you at once. The lidocaine does not make you stoned, and you are able to do what you need as soon as the day is over (I drove back and forth from Oklahoma City). Most of my remaining facial hair is very light to gray, and now slower growing, so they often have a hard time seeing it. They want you to let the hair grow out at least 4 days, and with lighter colored hair, you likely need 6 days growth so they can see them adequately. They will work on you (two techs) for about 6-8 hours depending on the day of the week.

Good luck.

There's a lady in Camden DE

When I was younger, much younger than before. I got electrolysis to most of my face, Then the state decided they wanted all of my money for child support. 13 years later and a much wiser woman I am again getting electrolysis. I have about ten hours left and it will be all complete and for only $60.00 and hour plus three for the needle. The price is still the same as when I first began electolysis.
This Tuesday she will spend an hour on my upper lip, seems the first lady was not as good as she bragged to be.
I am fair skinned and it takes eight days to show any sign of facial hair.
