I have started some of the revision on THotM.

There is a lot that is going into this, as I didn't world build as much as world sketch. Now is the building phase and whoof! My study of world history and the various cultures has made it easier for me to extrapolate some of this but there are some fundamental questions that are wringing my brain. The social structure is less medieval europe as opposed to early and medieval India. So I have to review some of the social issues that existed in that culture. Mostly it deals with the pantheistic elements of society and how they handled things like temples, monasteries, and such. That will of course has an impact on the governmental style and the role of combat. That of course influences weapon technology and armor development. Once I have that settled, then I need to get into other fun things like social and political roles of women in a polytheistic world where female deities are not secondary. And how does all of the above affect military organizational structure?

My brain hurts.

Needless to say I am having fun.

So Says Harper Lee

“Any writer worth his salt writes to please himself…It’s a self-exploratory operation that is endless. An exorcism of not necessarily his demon, but of his divine discontent.” – Harper Lee

Good luck.
