Reversal Rings 3 -- Lost and Found

Steve, depressed and overweight, living in the doldrums of an inescapeable life, finds the ring that was previously dropped by the 6yo girl who found himself in 14yo Jamie's body. Putting it on, he finds himself in Ross's girlfriend, Shiela.

This is quite a positive development for Steve. Shiela, once she tries calling home and hears her own voice, decides that she never really was Shiela but instead was always the overweight slob Steve. So she decides to get on with his life.

The story slipped in a paragraph suggesting that Shiela had previously been changed -- it had involved an Old Man, but she could barely recall things.

Shiela's idea is quite close to mine, regarding "bodyswap": when Alice and Bob body-swap. Alice instead thinks she's Bob who sawped into into Alice's body. I've begun at least two stories that mix them up further: Alice soulswaps with Charles, and now thinks she's Donna in Charles's body. Meanwhile, Charles think's he's Bob in Alice's body.

Things like that.

        Reversal Rings 4 -- Family Life

The Old Man snatches the rings back from the where the switched Shiela and Steve disposed of them. Then he sells them to the irresponsible Gail, who switches with her husband. Later, to avoid a boring party, she switches with her surprisingly mature 13yo daughter, Cindy. (One wonders if someone else was occupying Cindy's body.)

Cindy and Cari decide that Cindy should stay, leaving Gail as the teenager.

It's karma for Gail, but sad for Cindy. She's lost a couple decades of her life, and missed out on all the life of a single young lady.

        Reversal Rings 5 -- Finale

We get back to Susan and Kevin, living their swapped life. Doug goes too far, and gets thrown out. The SRU Wizard leads Doug to buying the Rervesal Rings -- one as a makeup gift for "Susan"

This leads to the renewed opportunity for Susan and Kevin to switch back to normal, and get revenge on Doug. They have a greater understanding between them, and finally don't betray each other.

Also, Susan in Doug has sex with Kevin in Susan. Fortunately, Kevin isn't traumatized for life.

        Reversal Rings -- My Darling Daughter by Rebel

I'm not giving the link, because the Geocities link found on Google was accompanied by two attacks blocked by Norton. I hope nothing got by.

Marshall's young gold-digging wife, Laurinda, is getting divorced from the formerly wealthy Marshall, and was awarded custody of their young daughter.

The SRU sells Marshall the Reversal Rings, not telling him what they do. But they resolve the problem, and leave Laurinda disgusted. I really hope that she/he can now pick up, and push forward, to make something new of his life.

        Reversal Rings in General

I'm not sure that many stories were written about this corner of the SRU Universe. It seems too much like the Altered-Fates Universe, with it's Medallion of Zulo, which has many stories.
