So I'm looking for a story and can't find it with what I think are applying tags. The story is about a guy who's going home for christmas but gets stuck in a blizzard. At the same time he saves a little girl's life, but angers some kind of spirit who thought she was doing "her" a kindness. The little girl turns out to be a transboy. So the spirit makes the older guy pay for interfering by giving his manhood to the kid.

Hope someone here remembers that one.

I'm not sure

but your synopsis sounds familiar, if it is the one I that I'm thinking of

The guy is on a train that gets stopped buy the weather, may be because it derails.

I remembered the story when I read your blog

I can't be sure but isn't the child found in a snow drift.
Can't remember if the child was a passenger or it was a park near home and being involved was bad timing

The kid and his older brother

The kid and his older brother were locals who also were caught by the snowstorm. The accident happened in a park near their home yes.

A Whately tale?

I seem to remember that somehow this was a Whately Academy tale.

No it

isn't a Whateley story, though I remember several mutation stories involving trains in one way or another.

And not just the arrival to the academy!!!

I'm pretty sure it is one of his.
if not, then it might be Angharad.

I'll skim through, I remember reading it.

the guy who "lost his manhood" winds up marrying the older brother, happy as a female.

Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.

Single or multi chapter?

Do you know if the story is a single or if it's a multi chapter story?
Mainly because it would make searching for the story a little easier.

I think it was a SOLO

Not sure on the length though, It may have also been an entry in a Christmas Challenge

It miiiiight have been a duo

It miiiiight have been a duo chapter but pretty sure it's solo yes. I have thought of christmas tag but the one I searched with didn't produce this story. Maybe I used the wrong tag?

The Girl Dying in a Christmas Blizzard...

...sounds to me like a take on Hans Christian Anderson's Little Match Girl story. But the only one that came up in a "match girl" search here was Sue Brown's, and that's not it. You might look for one on another site, though.

I found the story for you Selene it's called Gift Exchange by Beyogi and was written for the December 2012 One Winter's Eve Story Contest. You can get to the story by clicking on the story title.

Thanks Hotaru that's the

One.
Well at least the one that came to my mind when I read Selene's original post, If I had been looking for it without Selene's synopsis I would have been looking forever because I had forgotten the character described as

“I am the angel of snow, the spirit of ice and cold, the soul in command of winter.”

Also when I begin to look if I see a story that catches my imagination I tend to get side tracked and go read that, if it is a long one then I tend to forget my original purpose.

About the losing track of what you're looking for, mainly because of my OCD all but forcing me to read a story. Once I've started I can stop for breaks, sleep and doing work but I'm totally incapable of not finishing a story/book once I've started which means I often lose track of what I'm doing. Which also means I've read some truly terrible works and stuff that has turned bloody ridiculous.
Let's just say I'm glad I know more than enough about the Worm web serial to not even start reading it.
