It would appear that Crystal Hall is down again.
I have not been able to access it for several hours.

Kristin's aware, although it

Kristin's aware, although it looks as though when she last updated the status page, the main site was still working (just about), but FTP access and the forums were down.

It's evidently escalated - things started to go wrong at around 10-11pm BST (9-10pm UTC) for me with a fatal SQL error on line 271 of core.inc
Now it appears the whole site has fallen over - has it been attacked by Palm AI or a Class X Entity? :)

I'd hazard a guess that as of now (07:25 UTC / 08:25 BST) most of the US is asleep, so it'll probably be down for several more hours until the admins have woken up, had breakfast etc. (even longer if they don't have time to repair it before heading off to work / other daily activities and have to wait until evening).

As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!

Probably

a Class X entity escaped from one of the stories lol

Server is Down

Piper's picture

I've been aware of the issue for quite a bit of time, and working on it for the last 12+ hours. It's in a remote datacenter and I need to rely on remote hands to do hardware work and some base level software work since we don't have a KVM/IP in that datacenter.

status page updates

Quicker version of the status page URL is http://whateleystatus.wisdomsprice.com

This isn't an automated thing, btw... it's just a page I can update at Google based on personal observation or emails I get from users or Warren or Piper. As such, it'll only update when I take the time to update it.
