Day camp...
Sounds like what Ashley went through. They are DEFINITELY covering it up. And wow, you captured a CPS worker perfectly. They don't really care about children or how they feel. Only their agenda. Though I doubt this person is even a real CPS worker, probably just an agent of the government. It's too hard to tell who is real and who is obvious spy at this point. This story is too intense, I'm seriously curious how you are going to wrap it up. I get the feeling Ryan is doomed but who knows at this point. The villains just seem too powerful, I don't see how our protagonists can ever overcome them.
FYI: Just saying I enjoy your story, I hope my comments about "I don't know how they can win" doesn't discourage you or anything. You are great, and you've taken us for a heavy emotional rollercoaster of a ride. No matter what happens, I know it'll be well written :D
I know who I am, I am me, and I like me ^^
Transgender, Gamer, Little, Princess, Therian and proud :D
every chapter gets harder and
every chapter gets harder and harder to read, it's so depressing. It's very well written, but very depressing.
Re: "every chapter gets harder and"
I agree. This story is beginning to look like another Project Phoenix (one chapter posted on big closet - three more on Fictionmania - story unfinished).
I'm rooting for Ryan the man!
Please continue the story until conclusion.
It's so sideous. . .
Okay so you took it in a direction I wasn't expecting. But even still I'm going to project again. Greg, Eve, Mrs. Feinstein. . . I don't think they're part of the "program". Not knowingly anyway. Yes the only thing that makes any kind of sense is the powers that be are watching their little experiment very closely. Call it a blind study? Like "what would happen if we let this little Serum Girl survive out there on her own, how long will it take for her to flip if, or at all, we don't take an active roll in her change over?" Because if Ryan loses completely they'll have their answer. Ryan has never been safe, Ryan has been in a peatri dish the entire time.
God I hope I haven't spoiled it for myself! I'll say this Oneshot, you can spin a yarn. Please don't let this be your last either!
My love is God, let's go get a slushie. . .
“Hi, Riley! It’s nice to meet you.”
oh boy ...
This makes me mad. I like it.
Every chapter gets me wanting more. It is one of the first things I do is look for a new chapter. I can almost feel the fear Ryan is having in losing his Identity. Some parts of me feel that he is going to fail and other parts I think he will beat the odds and his body and brain will settle. Part of me thinks he should just come clean and tell Mrs. Feinstein everything. Then again it may be better he didn't. However you twist this story I will be madly enjoying it.
Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony.
Contemplation, yet duty
Death, yet the Force.
Light with dark, I remain Balanced.
Was expecting something...
Else? Less? Really thought this chapter would focus on the previous conflict of being called "baby girl." Instead you did something much better, although you acknowledged the previous conflict you introduced a new, much more pressing issue. I, like usual, am extremely excited for your next chapter.
Amazing story
Good lord this story is incredible! It's great to see Jessica back. Big question on my mind is has Eve told Jessica who Riley is? What would Jessica think of Ryan's predicament? Could Ryan's ego take the hit of having Jessica know he is stuck as a cute little girl.
Or has Eve told Jessica that Riley is adopted?
I'm sure it will be tough for Ryan to have to act like a little girl around a woman who used to fancy him
Either way I can't wait for the next chapter!
Flip flop
Boy, does Ryan have trust issues he desperately needs to work through.
He has a dream and it's Eve whose trying to do more mothering. Even though she only wants to help. And when he gets like this he again acts like an AH to push her away.
And every time this happens Eve simply explains to him why he's doing what he's doing. Which gets him thinking and acting differently until the next time, like thinking Mrs. Feinstein called CPS.
In several ways, Ryan needed the experience of being someone different than who he once was. As Eve has told him on more than one occasion, he needs to grow up. He needs to face the things he refuses to face, like his mom being concerned about him. He did, after all, leave home without telling her, or the reason he simple left.
Now as a 6 year old, he's being forced to do things and face situations he can't run away from. Something solely needed.
Others have feelings too.
What?
Ow!!! Any takers; That Riley won't insert foot in mouth??
