Well, first of all, if you want to see what came before look below:

Part 1
Part 2

Sorry it's been as long as it has since the last blog, I intended to keep things moving a little faster. My main hang up was trying to get the logo right, though I never completely got it the way I wanted it. But that's what you get when you have a perfectionist writer try to draw something! ;) Here's the logo:

Wyld Logo

If anybody knows how to make the background transparent, please let me know!

So, what else should I say? Oh yeah, I've posted a little short story in the Wyld Universe. It's short, but might generate a little more interest. If you haven't seen it already it's called Wyld Fire. Not exactly a happy tale, but then there are a lot of unhappy tales in the early days of the Wyld Universe.

I've still got to set up a Universe Page and a rules page. I noticed EOF and Lilith combined those into one. I'd appreciate any input on that. It seems to me that having a dedicated rules page in the Universe Rules forum would be good. And a simpler Universe Page would be cleaner. But I can see the appeal to combining them. Or I could combine them and also have the rules page, I suppose? Please let me know if you have any preference!

Once I've got those issues settled I'll be ready to officially open the universe and post the first part of A Wyld World (I know, I know, I said that was the first story I'd post. But Wyld Fire came to me this morning and I just had to write it. And then I figured it would be a good teaser for the universe while I'm getting the last bits settled).

So, if you were brave enough to read this far, have any questions? Comments? Suggestions? Want in on the universe? ~_^

EDIT: Logo updated with transparent background thanks to vessica b! Thanks again!! ^_^

transparent backgrounds

Open the image in an editor, then save it in gif format. Then reopen the gif file and you will be able to set the transparency percent for the background.

Okay, I tried that and it

Okay, I tried that and it didn't work. Setting the background to transparent has no effect at all. This is a scan of a drawing, if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Saless
