Hi everyone...

A PM that I found in my inbox this morning, got me thinking about a blog I started a while back that I hadn't updated lately. It also got me thinking about some other things too.

The short of it is, I made this graphics image, a "Memory Star" for Kim today, and if you want to read what it's about, follow this link: http://kimflections.blogspot.com/2011/03/its-been-while.html

Thank you Zoe, for everything you said. You have quickly gone from an author I admire to someone I consider a true Friend.

I'm honored

I really am, and I meant every word as well. I wrestled with whether or not I should say anything at all, and I wondered if it was my place to say anything, but in the end, I decided to trust my heart. I'm glad I did :-)

*hugs*

All my best,
~Zoe

I Miss Kim So Much

I miss Kim so much. She was an incredible woman as well as a wonderful writer. It is hard to believe she has been gone for almost three years and I know she continues to live on in our hearts. Thank you Piper for placing this here. I really admire your resilience and strength. When we lose someone we love, the hurt never goes away, but it does get easier to cope with over time. It doesn't mean we miss them any less, but we can get through one day, then two, then a month, then a year as you mentioned with being able to gradually tell her story without tearing up. Keep your chin up and know you have so many who are thinking about you.

Hugs,

Jen

Memory Star for Kim EM

What a wonderful way to commemorate Kim EM

I will never forget Kim.

She was one of the very first to welcome me to the internet and the chatrooms WAAAAAAY back in the old French Kiss Chats (read Meat Market! LOL) She, Prue, Pickle, Phoebe, and a couple of others were my very first online friends.

Kim nurtured my fledgling writing talents and encouraged me to try. She was a wonderful person who went through some incredibly hard times in her transition, but she never gave up. Along the way, Kim "adopted" several others, always being positive and encouraging and always in a gentle way. I too, cried at her passing, and I still get misty when I think about her and those "old" times, and all she did for me and so many others.

If not for her, my stories would never have been written. I lost a dear, treasured friend that terrible day as did the whole community.

R.I.P. Kim. You live in my heart.

Now I gotta go cry for a bit.
