Well, I just finished making my reservations for the Conference and for my hotel room! This is a BIG thing for me. The first time out of my comfort zone, away from home. I'll be visiting Grover and Paula on the way to Atlanta, and seeing Ariel at the Con. I'll also stay a night or two with my Nephew and his family who are behind me in my transition, and can't wait to have me there.

I hope that some of YOU will be considering this Conference, since it's the biggest of it's kind, in the world, and will be a great place to make connections and met others just like you! I'm including a URL for the Con. for anyone who either doesn't know about it, or might think about attending.

The pre-registration/early bird rate is $255.00 for the entire week, and room rates at the Hotel are 130.00 a night, + tax. Three nights will cost me, with tax, $436.80. A big expenditure, to be sure, but if you share a room, it'd probably be less per person.

The Convention runs from Sept. 21-26. I hope I'll see some of you there!

Nervous and excited,

Southern Comfort

is a little sweet for my tastes. So, is a lot of it consumed at the conference?

Write the story that you most desperately want to read.

I haven't the foggiest.

but then, that isn't the reason for the conference anyway. I know you were playing, by asking that. I don't even drink alcohol or use it in any way other than medicinally or as a skin cleanser.
