She asked me to take her to the hospital when I got home from work last night, and I got her to ER just before 5PM. I just got home (4:15AM), after they admitted her.

It's a combination of things, none life-threatening, though they might have been had she waited a while longer, that made her too weak to walk, and gave her difficulty breathing. By the time they had her checked out, and got her stabilized it was almost 4AM/ By then she could get to her feet and walk again.

I'll keep everyone posted, though it might be Saturday morning before my next post

SATURDAY Morning Update

Shalimar is doing much better, and should be moving from ICU to a regular room today. She looks and sounds much better, but best of all, the doctors told her how much she is improved.

Thanks My Friend For Helping Shalimar :-)

Thanks for seeing about her. I know how she feels because I caught pnuemonia and was running a high fever. If I hadn't been taken to the hospital, I could have died. But here I am, alive and kicking.

I'll add my very best wishes for a speedy recovery for Shelley,

to those already offered here. I'll be keeping a good thought and hoping that things work out all right. Shelley and you, Holly, are two very special people to me, and to many others.

It seems that we, as TGs are subject to many, many illnesses, even at times seeming to exceed what might be considered normal for a particular group of people. I hope this latest example of that will be the last for awhile, so we can all catch our breath.

Take it easy, Shelley, and take care of yourself. Do what the docs and Holly suggest, but don't overdo. You are loved and appreciated.

Get well huggles from,
Catherine Linda Michel

Take care

Both of you! Shelley make sure you don't overdo it!
Hugs to you both!

Wishes for a good recovery

I know I haven't been around a lot recently (RL issues I won't go into here) but I have met Shelly, at least online, and found her to be a kind, giving person even that way.

Just do what the doctors tell you, Shelly, and come back to us as soon as you can. But take care of yourself first.

Hugs,

Maggie
