The full story…

Chapter 2 of Eldertale will be delayed. I’ve been very busy with work and haven’t had time to do quality writing. Instead, I’ve been working on fleshing out the lore. I plan to post chapter 2 and hopefully chapter 3 between October 8th and October 12th when I get some time off.

However, it’s not all bad news…

1. The book Eldertale (featuring Alexa) has been renamed to ‘The Elementalist’ since I plan to add two other stories to the Eldertale universe. They will be ‘The Druid’ and ‘The Crimson Sorcerer’ whose story will be connected to Alexa’s

 

2. The lore surrounding Eldertale has been greatly expanded. This should help the universe be more consistent and increase the depth of secondary characters

 

3. I plan to share the lore of Eldertale once more of the details are polished. It will not be necessary to read since anything important to the story will be described within the story, but it may be interesting to the following people:
    
   
   1. People that like reading the lore of games/books
   2. People that want to know exactly how some things work since it’d be too much exposition to describe within the story
   3. Authors that wish to write stories set in the Eldertale universe

A couple notes:

1. The lore should be published sometime before October 8th, but will be subject to addition or revision until any specific part is used within the story

 

2. Although I have some ideas percolating, I am not mentioning anything that will apply to only after ‘the apocalypse’ to avoid spoilers

 

3. If you do want to write a story within the Eldertale universe please message me
    
   
   1. There are three continents Wespero, Ausustre, and Forlarren
   2. My stories will primarily take place in Ausustre, the Eastern continent. So if you want more freedom I’d recommend you use Wespero, the western continent. You may not use Forlarren, the central continent, without explicit permission since it’s special
   3. I will not give permission until I get further with ‘The Elementalist’ and get the other two started. It should help give you an idea of how the world works post-apocalypse
   4. Once the above condition is met, if you choose to write within the Eldertale universe, message me your idea and I’ll probably agree, just give a shot-out at the top/bottom of your chapter
