It is with regret that I inform you all that I have little choice but to cancel my birthday this year. I do not have the time to spend with it.

Thusly I will not be turning a year older tomorrow. You can save the 'happy birthday' greetings for next year.

I believe that the answer may not be to postpone your birthday, just embrace the idea and have one every month. It gives you a good reason NOT to walk by the cake shop but go right on in!

On 7 April I will be 39 years and 340 months. Growing old disgracefully and just a little bit at a time! Jam doughnut anyone? There's a custard one in the bag somewhere!

I've quit worrying about the number of years. My goal is to try and stay alive until the next. My health care costs exceeded my income several years ago. Gonna try again with the state & feds, every little bit helps!

I think that I might let another "me" keep the tally for that first swat on my little bottom too many years ago yesterday.

My bithday is this sunday, but my age shown on the calendar can only be an aprils fool joke... ;-)

The best gift this time is that I will leave the hospital tomorrow after my SRS three weeks ago to be back home on Sunday.

I have spent more than half my life trying to ignore a certain day every year in the hope that it will go away. Unfortunately, it would seem that the world is against me in this, with everyone insistent that this day of doom is something to be celebrated.

I shall simply wish you a peaceful Saturday for tomorrow, and hope you find a little time at the end of the day to have a calm drink of whatever relaxes you the most (be it alcoholic or not).

Getting ready to go for my 43rd option on 29. Whew, hard to keep up with the medicines <45K a year if I wasn't a vet !> and the doctor appts. I have only lasted this long because of the wonderful care at the VA. Hahaha, April fools a day early. A never ending nightmare for anyone but especially transgender people. Tels - you are too smart to think that you can avoid that annual anniversary. You can avoid the celebration but the fact remains - you can lose the ability to count as much as you wish and writing rather than math appears to be your bag. So forget about adding and/or subtracting, just go with the flow and enjoy what ever weather your stuck with and get your favourite meal together. Meanwhile, I am an OLD (compared to you) stuck in the mud that thinks you are worth good wishes as someone that gets an anniversary on a holiday!
