Woke up this morning to find I had no control over my left leg, no bigee really as it's happened before, and is generally a bit wonky anyway. What it did mean was a day off work, to read through what I've been writing, and to rifle through my record collection (it really is a record collection, I never said goodbye to vinyl) for songs for Firestorm's repertoire... shame is I stuck Starz's Violation on just before lunch and it's been on all day.

Playing air guitar while sitting down sucks though.

Randy Rhoads...

Given that you've already made mention of Rhoads, I would think some Ozzy would be a necessity. Early AC/DC might be a nice touch as well :)

Just a couple of suggestions from the peanut gallery.

sister act

Candy's gagging to get some Ozzy into the set, but Bethany's up for it... yet.

I'd thought about AC/DC, one of Bon's more suggestive lyrics, dare I say 'She's Got Balls'?

I was thinking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLd-XbPwSN8 would sound excellent shredded up :)

Hope the leg

Hope tomorrow finds you more ambulatory, Ceri! Not to make any facile comparisons, but I do know what you mean about days off work can have their pleasures (when you're not wracked with fever or pain). Winter of 2002-3 my whole job was to sit and wait for my shoulder bone to knit. Guilt-free screwing off! Snow outside, the cat asleep in her co-pilot's chair, tunes on the stereo, and ABLE TO TYPE if I was careful & kinda hunched over the keys! Better that it not have happened, but it did, and it was wonderfully productive art & writing wise (while the bills piled up...).
~~~hugs, Laika.
