I'm thinking...

I'm thinking I'm gonna go ahead and post the next two chapters of "Echoes", though they haven't been proofed recently.

Also, to anyone reading the story:

There was a suggestion in the comments on the first two chapters concerning Miriam's name: I used some of the phrasing from that comment, and there is an explanation in the story- and it's a lot better in my opinion than that I didn't bother to check name spelling before writing the thing :P

I hope that those who are reading my story continue to enjoy it, and also: if anyone wants to become an additional proofer, or just help me work out bugs in the story, I'd appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks!

By all means post

You had an interesting story started, it begs completion.

Ask the members of BOWSER or GEBPR for proofing help. There are others here as well who help. Ask and ye shall receive. I have dealt with Janet Nolan and Holly Logan among others -- *I*, *KJT* you know who you are and thanks -- and have found them most helpful. I'm sure you can find someone willing and who you feel comfortable with.

Don't feel pressed to rush but do post. If need be post and fix after IF the technical goofs are modest and don't spoil the pleasure of reading.

BC is better when more participate and anyway it help bring up the average that my stories so saddly drag down.

The Goofs...

The technical goofs will, indeed, be most modest. I type fairly accurately and have a decent vocabulary, and when you combine that with a tendency to be a "grammar nazi", I make sure that any and all misspellings are taken care of even before sending things off to the proofers, with my main goal when "proofing" being to make sure I keep a consistent style and understandable flow to the events. After all, I may know what I'm saying and imagining, but that doesn't make much of a difference if I don't convey my images clearly to readers. :P

PS. Thanks for the support!
