First up: Thanks again for helping me find that story; I really do appreciate it!

Second, as have mentioned elsewhere, covid sucks. Scared the bejeebus out of myself when I coughed up what the doc said looked like a blood clot when I emailed the pic. I still tested positive as of 12 hours ago (day 4, today will be day 5), but am almost asynptomatic now (occasional coughing). I truly believe that, and its associated symptoms do, too! The neuropathy part, especially the paresthesia, is really effing annoying and painful at times. One would think that if something is numb, it is not supposed to tingle and burn like the dickens. And don't believe them when they say it's only in the hands/feet. As this is my 20th year in non-op TG status, there are certain "effects" on the body that I did not foresee. One of them being the, shall we say, "atrophying" of certain bits to the point of interfering in certain bodily functions (the pee pill does NOT help!), which are now suffering from paresthesia and drawing back into the body as it can. It's fucking driving me bonkers!

Third, I am glad I had my boosters and vaxxes, as I am sure this would be much worse otherwise. A little history: Immunocompromised, i.e., no immune system to speak of, so I self-infuse IGG weekly sub-q. yay me! Obesity? Check! Type I/II/whatever diabetes, they can't decide so they tick every box. Heart issues? Check! COPD? Check. Sleep apnea? Check.
A friend likes to joke that I have the best Necromancer around; probably not far from the truth.

So, to summarise, the paresthesia pain is keeping me awake and I was bored so I thought I would put my random thoughts down as this gibberish. Now for some more Nyquil and try to sleep again since it seems to be calming down a bit. Take care and be kind to others, we're all we have!
Hugs
Diana

I Had It

But not as bad as you. Four days sick and a week recovering.

Brain Fog

I started having brain fog about a year before the epidemic. So, I assume I had one of the first cases?
