Help?

Wait a while and try later.

That usually works. Both Russians and Chinese are playing with the web. I don't know about any Solar activity. The web is a fragile thing. Fiber optic networks are over rated.

Thank you for your reply

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I find it interesting this works, yet that doesn't. It's more than fragile.
Thank you again for your courtesy,

Error 503 Backend fetch failed -- STILL

Is there maybe a better TIME to try this, or am I doing something wrong?

There was a time I could understand this crud, but with all the new "flash" and "frills" as well as protections, I've given up and while I am more ... well, a touch more competent than your standard "LuseR", I no longer keep up.

I really do appreciate ANY help you can give.
Hi, Piper!

Should be fixed now

We were flushing caches to clear up a code injection problem.

= Give everyone the benefit of the doubt because certainty is a fragile thing that can be shattered by one overlooked fact.

Thank you and I'm sorry if I have caused problems.

Thank you, Erin.
I'm sorry if anything I've done is causing problems. I'm doing my best to occupy myself elsewhere so that I don't hound or harass. I know that it's difficult to maintain a site such as this and I applaud your efforts as well as thank you for the opportunities you provide. When I get it to post, I'll reply once again. It hasn't yet. I'll wait a bit more. I know you're working hard.

Thanks again,

Wendy J.

No Joy.

Everyone, I know you've tried. I'm not pointing fingers.
It's been eight hours and I still can't post. I had a heck of a time with my first story post and I put off adding another, due to how ... frustrating it was. It makes me feel like a witch when all I get is the same error time and again, then I feel a need to say something. Maybe I should forget it.

Thank you again, for all your hard work.

I've submitted the story at FM. Yeah, I have no control over how it looks and that's frustrating for me, but what the heck. At least others get to read it. I don't blame you, I'll wager I screwed something up. I've flushed my cache. I've started from scratch umpteen times. It's still not working and I'd wager it's me, I don't blame you.

Thank you for at least trying. It seems it's a mistake for me to try to do things here.

STILL No Joy.

Upon advice, I tried again. This time, I stripped out everything except good old fashioned stuff like <P> <B> <I> <BR> etc... That way, there's precious little html coding. I'm not going to write the story online. Let's start with I'm on a metered connection and I can go on from there. I use my word processor programme then save to html, strip almost ALL the html coding out, which takes up to an hour or more then paste it in as pure html. If there were a way to upload a file, rather than uploading the contents of the file, it would work better for me. However, it's not my site, is it? I'm still getting backend fetch failed errors whenever I try to post the story. I can preview fine, but I can't save. Why can others post, yet I still can't? <Waaa Waaa sniff sniff> Yeah, just give me that crying towel. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Wendy J.
