I want to apologize, but that latest installment of Out of the Ashes is taking longer than I expected.
I know what I want to happen, and how it should happen -- and I'm kinda excited about it, but my muse isn't helping me to break it down into bite-sized story pieces just yet.
Plus that pesky real life keeps butting into my writing time :)
Anyway, just wanted to say I haven't abandoned Megan just yet. I think there's at least two more chapters to this arc.
Thank you to all (okay, both) you loyal readers. I truly appreciate your thoughtful comments and encouragement. Keep that card and letter coming! :)

I mean, it's not like we're paying you to meet some kind of deadline. ^-^
Take your time, I'm a huge fan of your story, and I'd much rather see a good chapter later than a mediocre chapter now. And here's hoping that we'll keep on seeing Miss Mars for a long time to come!
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause-of-effect...but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly...timey-wimey...stuff.

I too have been enjoying this tale & am looking forward to your next chapter.
The interplay of the symmetry & assymetry between the different styles of justice in this story is very interesting.
