I want to ask if anybody has had contact with T. D. Aldoennetti since Christmas. I want to know as she lives in the outskirts of the Seattle-Tacoma area and as if you have followed any of the news from that area they were hit real hard with snow before Christmas and and then heavy rain after Christmas causing a lot of weather problems with flooding and other things. She hasn't posted anything on the site since the Dec 20th. It was her birthday on the 22nd and she seem to have gotting mad at me for wishing her that and all I would like to know that she is OK and safe with all the weather problems. I knew her a long time ago, and I hope I haven't chase her off this site because of it. Thanks! Richard

Concern for Teddi

terrynaut's picture

The last private message she sent me was on Dec. 20th. She mentioned that she had over a foot of snow covering a sheet of ice and said there was 7 feet of snow in the mountains. I mentioned that I'm from the Seattle area but she didn't say where she lived.

I hope she's okay. I sent her a private message to her a couple days ago but haven't received a reply so far.

Teddi come home! *sniffle*

I could be wrong

But I thought I saw where she posted a comment to a story earlier today.

I've been watching for her, with rlarieh007, and no sign

Stacy; I just looked at the names of all those who posted in the past 26 hours ( it's 9PM PST here, and no signs of her commenting. Funny, the 1 day 2 hour ago post was ... ralieh007, giggle,

The snow wasn't THAT bad

I live near Seattle, there was about two feet of snow, but you could still get around alright. The floods were only near rivers. The snow was no big deal, but the floods were bad, but that was pretty localized. If she lives close to a river, she could have been flooded out and be living in a Red Cross shelter.

T. D. Aldoennetti is

a private person Richard. She is shy and not very approachable unless she knows you well. She treats everyone as a potential stranger until/unless she wants to know you. My suggestion is, if you haven't written her yet, not to write anything to her that may suggest anything else other than a question about her writings or style. Her real life is a touchy subject and may cause her to flee. I did speak with her after the date Terry posted and I know all this.

Most of us here have troubled lives, and BigCloset is a haven from the bigotry of the real world and a chance to be amongst others of our kind as well. But we also have to respect that the traumas each of us has undergone has left a scar on us as well. Respect our authors and members and one another. By this, I mean avoid harassing someone when they haven't communicated back yet that they would like to continue so communicating. Be careful.

She is also recovering from an operation as well, so she may not be doing so good. Give her some time. She will be back I'm sure.

I have talked to her a lot.

And I never got that impression from her. She seemed very open and friendly to me. Hmmmmm. I think it is probably either the flood or she is just not very talkative right now. :)

How is she.

My concern is whether her health is okay or not. I understood she had some issues that the doctors weren't doing well to diagnos. I hope she is well.

As always,
