Not sure if there are any fans of reading legal decisions out there. But, here's one I rather enjoyed. It's Gavin Grimm's victory in Federal Circuit Court! He sued his local school board for not allowing him to use the boys' room or alter his gender on his records.

The majority opinion covers all the bases, utterly shredding the School Board, and is a pleasurable work of legal art.

Litigation is horrendeously expensive

He had a lot of support from a law firm that took on his case. Although it happens it isn't the norm for most who run headlong against the unenlightened ignorant bigots of the world.
Forty years earlier most of us kept a card in our purse a list of lawyers who would take our case, we had to pay for the legal help. But a lot of the ladies were being picked up for being nothing more than being themselves. It was, illegal and still is to be a male in women's clothes as the archaic law hasn't ever been removed from most state laws.
Remember the story of two girls who got too close to a high security base on one of the access roads and were immediately surrounded by MPs. They were escorted to the security command center. Questioned and escorted back off the base. I think I have the story and their names in my files somewhere but maybe not.
Times have changed in some ways and in others still the same old story. Some conforming to society is good, some rebellion is good. Try and not push too hard too far and spoil it for those who follow us.
