I returned to her story "Drew's meltdown" and really loved this different take on another well known story from Bigcloset. But sadly the story stopped being updated long ago. to me it was a great story i really enjoyed reading.

She lives ........

but my muse has taken an extended vacation.

I have bits of the next 4 chapters written, but am still arguing with my muse, the silly minx. And I struggle with not wanting to change the nature of Maddy Bell's wonderful character. A couple of the ways I could take this might do that.

I know it is fan fiction and all of that, but I want to keep the basis of who Gaby is intact. So it is being a bit challenging.

My muse at the moment, however, is going "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead". It will be finished, if for no other reason than it will nag at me until I do.

Thanks for thinking of me, and thanks for enjoying my humble offerings.

Cheers

I have

Maddy Bell's picture

Problems keeping the girl on the straight and narrow, sometimes, like now, I have story threads that move things in an unexpected direction that i'm not sure I want to follow.
I always enjoy reading the fanfics as they are allowed to explore stuff which may not be in with my plans for the future of the story.
Looking forward to seeing more soon

I liked you story

I many ways it seemed more real than canon. Thus, it it explored a side that Maddy Bell choose not to follow. I would expect the characters would develop differently. That was what made your story such a great read.

I look forward to your new chapters.

Chapter 17

of Drew's Meltdown is now about half written. I have been able to bring some of my muse's random mutterings into cohesive paragraphs and it is slowly coming together.

And as I said earlier, my muse is a bit of a nag. She won't let me leave this unfinished.

And with the Covid-19 crisis happening, I may have some extra time at home.

So we shall see.

Cheers.
