I finally got around to joining British Cycling, which for those not in the know, is an organisation dedicated to sport and leisure cycling. I'm already a member of the Cyclist's Touring Club, which is the main lobbying group for cyclists.

My reason for joining, mainly to give support to the organisation which helped produce nine gold medals at last week's Track Cycling World Championships, but also for road racing and leisure cycling.

I got my membership card through today and with it, a provisional racing licence - you have been warned!(Put me down for the slow bicycle race!)

Angharad.

Just the CTC for me.

The only racing I've ever done was time trialling and that doesn't concern BC so I never joined. The members of my cycling club who road or track race are, of course, members and the club affiliates to run road races. I feel I do my bit to support Brad, Cav, Becky, Chris, and (of course :) ) Queen Victoria etc through my club subs and attendance at the track.

OK, Angharad, when's your first 4th cat road race? I expect to hear of you rising through the ranks.

Geoff

That's Great Angharad, Now Maybe

You can get a few of your friends and Bonzi to ride as well. It would be cool seeing that cat on a cycle.

Watch out Lance!…

…Here comes Angharad. Remember what that cheeky young lady did to you at Atlanta? Well, Angharad is well versed in the wiles of Gaby Bond, so don't say you haven't been warned.

A Friend
