*- My wife turned.........39 again today. LOL, if I say her real age, Leonita may use the medallion on me. On second thought, I would like that. Can I be this woman?

We been married 18 years. Can you believe there is someone who can put up with me that long? As a Irish priest once said to me. "You're married to a saint and you think that you deserve her, you must go to confession!"

*- Today would have been my father's 84th birthday. Dad died in 1997. My wife and father shared birthdays and got along wonderfully. Filipinas being very family centered.

*- We celebrated Leonita's birthday on Sunday, but we'll be going down to Miami late this morning. A priest friend from the Philippines is here to visit and we'll be taking him, my sister-in-law, and daughter Jenni to lunch. Nanay will stay home, Carl and Mary have school today in Palm Beach County.

*- I want to say thank you to those who left comments on my recent story and apologize for my moodiness yesterday.

Danielle, You are part of Our Family

... here at BigCloset. If any member is hurt, we all hurt. It is understandable for any one of us to be moody - what with the way life usually treats us and the asundry of any of life's little problems that crop up. Don't be ashamed of it. It's ok. All of us are here for you. Feel free to contact anyone of us if you need someone to chat to or help.

*Big warm Hug*

Never feel alone sis! We are always here.

I Agree With Sephrena

we are a family. When I saw how you were hurting, I read your story. It had been a while since I watched an episode. Your story brought back memories of the old series. To me, you captured the essence of the series. Your twist proves that a venerable series can be in the Big Closet. Go ahead and feel moody, we all get moody at times, That is why we are here. Find a friend here that you can vent with, that can listien to your needs. Sephrena is good at that. If she can't help, she will direct you to one who can. Take care my friend.

That was moodiness?

Ppppppssshhaawww!! Compared to some of the drama
goes on around here you were the very model of equanimity.
All writers (except maybe Stephen King or J.K. Rowling) go thru that.
And I'm sorry I disrespected Jack Lord's hair...
Aloha, Laika

Saint

It's great to be married to a saint or to be close to one. Danielle, enjoy your celebrations

You are fortunate

You clearly love her as so many of your heroines I suspect are patterned after her.

That you have kept togther despite your long battle with cancer and the sad death of Daniel hours after birth is a testiment to your love. Many families could not have withstood the strain.

Hum, the medallion? If she could get some clothes last worn by, oh Lucy Lu at say, age 17? Hell, if she manages that send it to me!
