Just had to ban some addresses in Slovakia and Seattle for trying to access the admin functions of this site and running up a metric assload of "no access" and "page not found" errors.

The frook in Slovakia had 15000! accesses, almost none of which were actual pages here but swallowed up more than 5 hours! of server time.

The clever sitch in Seattle was flying false colors, using non-active URLs to disguise his origin so who the heck knows where he really was. I had honestly never seen that trick before but some of the URLs he used were the addys of discussion boards used by Amazon API developers. Its possible that some real BC readers have gotten blocked by my using an URL mask to ban the phantom pinger so I will probably unban those addys later in the week.

The slime from Slovakia running the dumbass harvester can rot, though.
