Someday I will make it all better.
I am just not satisfied at all as to the action, dialogue or anything for this next chapter. It's as though the events in my head, the one you are waiting to read, are toying with me all by themselves.
I am going to just finish this off and post it for now. I am tired of going over and over, trying to turn excrement into gold. It is making me not want to continue, when the parts I want to write and want to play out are just beyond this. Please bear with me as I should, could and will someday re-envision this whole battle. I thought this would be the end of it. The battle, one more event, and BOOM, everyone riding off into the sunset, but I keep twisting it and the ending has to change with it. One more scene isn't going to do it, sorry.
Going to finally write another chapter from Terri's perceptive again. Because It's been so long and it may be the last before I end up shifting focus again.
Grrrr, gotta kill another character now. Expect... things. Maybe good, maybe bad. It all remains to be seen.

However hard...
However hared it is, and however dissatisfied you are with the results, the fact remains that the story is engrossing and an enjoyable read.
I know all about author angst, believe me. Sometimes, we are our own worst critics. Then, other times, we take another's comment too much to heart when it's really just a statement of preference (for example, someone who likes lots of angst complains that the protagonist is taking her change too easily.)
I'll make you a deal. If you keep writing, I'll keep reading. ;-)
It's a good story. I'm enjoying it. I'm also curious about what's really happening, and how it is going to all pan out. I really hope there's a happy ending where Terri and her friends all live happily ever after, and the evildoers all get their comeuppance.
