That makes sense,
but it is still odd, Friday normally has several stories in my time zone, the fewest I've seen before was just one.

Headings out of sync?
Looks like the Quick Cuts Headings and the Teaser Headings are out of sync. There are a number of stories listed under the Teaser Heading that are shown as posted on Friday but the Quick Cuts heading shows them as posted on Thursday. According to the Teaser Heading the last Thurs. posting was "Rainbows In The Rock", everything after that was posted on Fri. "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" lists a Sat.5:06pm posting while the Quick Cuts heading lists it as the only Fri. posting. Looks like something in the program burped.
Not exactly
The Quick Cuts list and the table of story teasers are prepared by different parts of the program. They use slightly different internal calendars and clocks. Not a lot we can do about it but I see the mismatch almost every day.
