Just read the latest AuPreviner story and it kind of struck a nerve with me that is neither good or bad. Abortion was mentioned and I'm Pro-Choice in regards to the fact that it should be up to the individual whether they should Have one or Not have one. It should not be political. But it is here in the USA anyways.

Where it struck a nerve is that I'll be 54 years of age in July and I'm completely childless. That choice was taken from me 9 days before my 16th birthday which involved a Kawasaki dirt bike and a Sycamore tree. Then spending 6 months in a Midwestern USA Hospital injured with a crushed pelvis and crushed hip sockets wasn't how I wanted to spend not only my 16th birthday, but the rest of the summer and fall. Then learning how to walk again afterwards. Finding out what else was crushed didn't help matters either other than realizing that I was 100% sterile.

I've got several ideas for stories leading from those years to the present. I could go lots of directions. What's holding me back is that I have read many stories over various sites that are similar and I don't want to plagarize anything. Just to let everyone know, my legs look great in 5 inch heels (think Miley Cyrus/Lady Gaga/Pink). It's the male pattern baldness that I couldv'e done without.

Pro-choice

I'm uncomfortable with abortion, but I'm even more uncomfortable with a government controlling individual's reproductive choices. And, I don't think any woman has a duty to bear children for people who want to adopt. They have no more claim to her body than anyone else does.

Only the Fertile

I think that only those who can be involved in child bearing should be involved in this. Males seem to be mostly interested in impregnating women but not raising babies. I end up surmising that perhaps only women should be making these decisions, and only for themselves. Those outside that group are merely power hungry and out of control themselves?
