Wedding Thong

Daphne Xu's picture

This was posted on ASSD in 1999. A regular on ASSD was talking about her upcoming wedding. There was talk of wearing thongs, and this was posted:

"This was supposed to be one of the most profound moments in her
life. But, as her beloved bridegroom took her finger to slide on the
slender gold band that would make them one for a lifetime, all she
could think about was the slender lace string slowly disappearing up
her backside..."

It's also a good example of vivid, descriptive writing. (I would have changed "disappearing" to "creeping".)

Thongs

Thongs are worn on ones feet in the summer time and are also called flip-flops,shower shoes, beach sandals and a number of other things , and are not to be confused with under garments. snicker snicker words having more than one meaning are so confusing.

Have a good day and enjoy life.
