With all that I have had going on lately, work stress, two heart attacks and a muse that became sick and tired me me being too tired to listen to when I got home from work. I didn't think I would get a Meri Christmas story out this year. I fretting and begged the muse for a week to just give me an idea, any idea for an interesting Christmas themed story. Of course the muse ignored me, payback for all the times I've fallen asleep as she tried to whisper ideas into my ear.

Saturday the muse finally took pity on me and spoke, "Hey you remember that Idea we had about the time traveling guy who keeps going back to change something in his life but the changes he makes always makes everything worse so he has to keep going back further and further to try to fix things?"

"Yeah I remember. Never did get back to that and come up with enough ideas to really make it work for novel length and remain interesting."

"Well what if we combined the 'Butterfly Effect' we were going for with a 'It's a wonderful Life' feel."

"Muse you're a genius!"

"Bout time you realized that, now how about putting on a pot of strong coffee and writing it."
