First off, I'd like to apologize to anyone who has been waiting for the conclusion to this story.

I really don't want to delve into the personal aspects of it, but for the past year I've been dealing with some things. I kind of got sucked into something that I wish I had just stepped away from at the start. Instead, I allowed it to eat at me emotionally, and I regret not devoting that time wasted to creating something more fruitful.

Not finishing this story then, felt like a weight dragging behind me this whole time. It eventually caught up to me. It pulled my ass down into a chair. And forced me to rewrite the entire concluding chapter in one night, and edit it the next.

It felt really good to get rid of that weight. And now I feel free to create more stories. I hope anyone and everyone who has followed this story enjoys it. And if there is anything, anything at all, you might like to see in Volume 2, please let me know. Either here, or in private message.

Thank you all.

You ended the volume on a

You ended the volume on a high note but left a lot of unanswered questions: seems like you did the trick and left yourself able to return when you had the time, energy, and your muse shackled...I mean you find the strength to return to write again

Precisely

I've left a lot for Volume 2. Which was also being worked on simultaneously. I think I'm going to wait until I finish it though to start posting the whole thing.

My muse suffers from insomnia, and it keeps me up at night.

As someone dragging his heels

As someone dragging his heels with my story, you are doing the wisest thing. It's worth the wait especially as it's clear you are going into uncharted territory with the story that yoiu might not have originally envisioned but is making it better.

We will wait for it, other series have gone months and even years between updates and been applauded yet are far from over, yours being written out first gives us hope for a resolution to it even if it's not turning into an epic trilogy or anthology that it was originally envisioned as.

I’m really happy you got out

I’m really happy you got out of whatever situation you got stuck in. It’s the worst when that kind of thing happens. To me, it seems symbolic that you’re closing that last chapter of your life by closing off volume 1 of Tight Knit. Hopefully that’s a sign of good things to come.
