I’m trying something different. Readers of my shorter stories on BCTS have asked for Kindle versions, so I’ve combined two stories in two books. And each is a reduced price! I can't guarantee that Amazon will allow me to keep the original posts here; they may vanish. In any event, those originals were edited, revised, nipped and tucked for these books.

The stories in each book have similar themes:

Parents (ASIN: B07FW7882L) contains two separate stories: Care and Comfort tells of an anguished widower learning the truth about his wounded son. And in A Mother’s Journal, a distraught mother deals with the discovery that her teenage son is transgender.

Friends (ASIN: B07FW66PQ1) contains Forceful, which tells of a young woman helping her best friend discover her true self. Are You Sure? jumps in time over the events in a transgender woman’s life.
Trigger warning: There are physical attacks in both of these stories.

This is very important—

I hope you will enjoy these shorter works, and please, please, please post a review at Amazon and Goodreads (favorable, I hope!). Many people aren’t aware that Amazon factors the number and quality of reviews into how they represent and market the book, so it’s very important to review. This even applies to Kindle Unlimited readers. And Goodreads is owned by Amazon, did you know?

It’s not just “author’s ego”— the same review principle applies if you bought t-shirts or toothpaste from them. If you want to see more quality transgender literature, you have to let Amazon know that you’re reading these books!

Be sure to tell others about Parents and Friends and any of my other books you’ve enjoyed—and as always, thank you for your support!

Karin

PS: Please post a review for all books you read at Amazon and Goodreads, especially by BCTS authors—and be kind!
