He has some type of chronic bowl disorder.

Over the years he has had parts of it removed as they have become damaged.

This last time the doctors found there was too little healthy tissue remaining for him to survive.

As he is quite slim I fear he won't last long.

He is only in his early fifties.

Comfort in a Touch

BarbieLee's picture

John, guys aren't usually the touch, hug type. I pray you are one of those who shares touches and hugs. You may or may not believe in the power of sharing of life forces. It is more than Star Wars thing. Sick people can drag healthy ones down if the healthy one isn't re energizing as they share. Healthy people can also give comfort and yes even healing to sick people.
Needless, give your friend a friendly hand or a hug and tell him it was from Barbie Lee. Goes without saying, toss in your well wishes at the same time.

May God's Angels of Mercy and Kindness give aid and comfort to everyone in the family.
Amen

always,

Toss in some hugs from me while you're at it,

Positive vibes, good wishes, good ju-ju as well. There's nothing more I can say, but we'll be pulling for him... and praying.

Sorry to hear that.

I am sorry that this is happening, and hope that your sister and her fiance have peace.

It is hard to know what to say

It is hard to know what to say to someone at times like this, other than to say my thoughts and wishes are with you, your sister and her fiancée.

So Very, Very Sorry

Your family is in my thoughts. So sorry to hear about this.

I know what it's like to see a loved one waste away like that.

Sending love, hugs, and prayers to all of you.
