Newest Update: We have about $1800 due Friday and we have less than $500 in our bank accounts.
Not completely unexpected but we got hit with a tax bill for $800+, higher than expected, and now Felix has to deal with the expenses related to Katie's death, about $1600, without Katie's income, and we want to help out.
Accordingly, we are going to increase the April goal for the Hatbox to $5000. Yeah, I know that's a lot and to be frank, we're not really expecting to make it but we just wanted everyone to know that that is what we are going to be trying to pay out of our own resources.

Setting aside the unexpected, it seems the balance is constantly falling short. Is there another source of revenue possible?

Erin -- I mentioned it yesterday on Angela's blog entry, I had not realized that my previous recurring had gone away. Mia cupa, simply haven't been on much for a lot of reasons that have nothing to do with BCTS. So I did sign up for the quarterly renewing super subscription.
Not sure how quickly that shows up, but you can count on it!
BCTS is too important to me, even when I am away.

Like most I do have to watch my money carefully, but that does not mean I can not do something to help support the site so I upgraded from the free membership to a yearly subscription.
I'm hoping some of the other authors and readers that use the site that are on the free membership like I was will follow my lead :)
