No thanks, I'll pass.
Having seen some of the pure hatred sent from so-called friends to one of my Grandkids, they have all closed their facebook, twitter etc accounts.

I would guess that in a lot of cases showing the world that you are 'genderqueer' (for example) is not going to work out very well.

These categories will also be open season for the people who seem to delight in setting up false accounts for people that they target. Then the vitriol starts to flow.

Imagine your reaction in a job interview when the person interviewing you brings up a hightly embarrasing FB account? Sure you can deny all knowledge of it but .... more than likely won't work.

When I interviewed for a job in 2012 I was asked about my use of social media. When I said that I don't use any. After I'd explained the reasons why, I was offered the job on the spot. Well, it was a security cleared role so it made sense.
I didn't take it up but for other reasons.

No, I don't have anything to hide other than my private life.

YMMV though.

For now...

I use Male to Female. Once I am far enough into my transition I plan on changing it to Female.

If you look at the list you'll see some of it is just overkill, slightly different ways of saying the same thing, I think they went a bit overboard.

what about the 2 jokers

It's the transradical activists I tell you. I never had a problem with the binary gender system. I think it is nice to simplify things just for the ease of it all. I'm a woman. Plain and simple. Adding anything else are just adjectives and don't really change the fact that I am still a woman. I think it kind of silly to get into so much detail just to define our uniqueness.

I will never understand the need to say agendered, or bigendered, or polygendered, or the rest. I don't know what any of those mean and I'm guessing most people don't. But everyone understands the concept of boy and girl, I'll stick with that.
