I just came across a Burns Night greeting from the senior police officer on the Isles of Scilly, as featured in Unaccounted Gains. Attached to that greeting was this photo of the Police Station on St Mary's.
The senior officer's name is Colin .......

The nearest I've been to the Scilly's is the quayside in Penzance (or Land's End as that's closest) but I felt I'd been there when I was doing the research for Unaccounted Gains book 2.

I know the senior police officer from Twitter and Facebook but my physical connections finish in Devon and Cornwall (I lived in Plymouth for 3 years and have family in Perranporth / St Ives as well as spending every summer from 1970 to 1976 near Helston)
It remains my aim to get to the Scillies at some point. Story-wise it just fitted the plot perfectly.
