The lucky among us can send in some coins to keep BC "on the air".

I want to keep everybody here "on the air".

I really want to see all of you listed here in left and center of the home page. Seeing you get moved to "In Memorial" ... that just hurts. And it's really rough on you and your people ...

Or worse, you just go silent, and we never know ...

By now, medical "evils" are catching up with most of us. One list is here: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/leading-causes-of-death.htm

Good news is a lot of these can be reduced, some nearly eliminated, with proper diet (and sigh, exercise).

This where you find out that I'm your local "nut job" on diet.

Best places I know of to get yourself on a good diet are:

- https://www.pcrm.org/vegankickstart - Start anytime.

- https://veganuary.com - Start anytime.

- For a lot more detail & How-to: https://nutritionfacts.org/book/how-not-to-die/

Except for buying a book or similar (and remember your lending libraries), all info is >Free<".

No gimmicks, no special products, potions or pills, no 'snake oil'. And no "Buy our Product Now."

Since we all need (to buy) food - why not eat good, healthy food (whole plant food), and not food that is trying to >kill< you (which is everything from animals)?

Animal sources are still best for some sorts of proteins (and B12).

That said, lab grown meat is starting to become an option but expensive.

The key idea is to be very judicious with the amount of red meat one eats.

That said, I agree totally that the amount of food value from vegetable sources should be the vast majority of ones' diet.

Fish is a great protein source if you choose ones that are low in mercury.

Coal is the major source of mercury in our fish so the sooner coal bites the dust *heh* the better.
