The superheroine Mantra (Malibu Comics) has skipped a few days into the past, into an event of the most dangerous urgency. If Mantra doesn't intervene successfully, an inexperienced ultra will face down with one of the most powerful of all known ultra villains, a serial killer of super beings with a record of many successes. But protecting her young friend means that Mantra will have to change history, something that she is not sure is even possible.

DC comics shipped the second week of the ‘New 52’ titles and out of 13,
I picked up seven to give them a shot after being underwhelmed by Justice League #1 last week. The titles available were:

ACTION COMICS #1, ANIMAL MAN #1, BATGIRL #1, BATWING #1, DETECTIVE COMICS #1,
GREEN ARROW #1, HAWK AND DOVE #1, JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL #1, MEN OF WAR #1,OMAC #1, STATIC SHOCK #1, STORMWATCH #1 and SWAMP THING #1.

I couldn't let the opportunity pass to comment on the Skin Horse comic for Sunday 3/13. It is a wonderful homage to a great comic artist, Walt Kelly. Some of you will remember the Pogo comic strip in the papers.

Those who are not familiar with this true gem should find what you can and read it carefully. One of the other classic Pogo quotes is, "We have seen the enemy, and he is us."

Who could add to that?

Need a little help

Hi Everyone, I'm hoping some of you would be kind enough to check these links for me and tell me if they work, My internet went down yesterday afternoon and only came back on this evening, It's still painfully slow at times and I can't get these two sites to load at all. :(
