In a world of chaos and confusion we all wish to find that one place we can call our sanctuary, but how do we get there and at what cost does it come?

This story is just that, a story, but should none the less be taken VERY seriously. It’s Copyright 2002-2009, by ME (JulieChristine) and was inspired by events in my own, and the lives of others I know. All charecters in this story are completely fictional, as are the events described herein.

Can't read it

Is this linking to your Tgfiction.net site? Because when I try to read it I get the same type of message.

When I tried it

It went to TGFiction.Net page and then I had to click a couple of times to get to the actual story.

Yes the story is posted @ TGF, and I have a feeling I know what your issue is.... Will PM you something to try. I still haven't gotten a hold of a PSP to test with but let's see what we can do :)

I believe it was posted here at one time, well worth re-reading

I looked at it briefly tonight and I am sure it was posted here for a while some time back. This is a very powerful short story and a cautionary tale. Very moving and very sad and if I say more I will give away the plot.

It has never been posted here in English.... Saphira did post a german translation and I gave the link to TGFiction.Net.

The reason for the extra clicking is because it's posted under the MA/Mature Audiences Rating, which I have set to require a pop-up notification. I'm sorry about that, but it's the way it is for that rating. There will be one more JulieChristine story posted the same way with the same rating, and then the rest of my stories have lower ratings.

Tagging...

It might be appropriate to identify this story as one involving suicide and self-mutilation with grandiose fantasies of ultimate justification and significance.

This is a very sensitive issue within a community with high rates of both, and at least some who are struggling with survival and recovery.

The other story off-site treats the same themes in a slightly different manner.

Thanks Puddintane

For adding the appropriate tags. We lost a dear, very young friend who after dealing with her GID issues, SRS etc she had to deal with other lifelong issues of self image, belemia, cutting and other forms of self mutilation, suicide attempts and finally a success. The helplessness one feels trying to help and support a child from seventeen into their twenties and then to lose...
I do not need to revisit that through fiction, I'm sure it is well written, my apologies to the author.
