“Woo-hoo! That’s how it’s supposed to be done Ghost.” as a young woman with short red hair moves the joystick in her hands and barely misses the side of the mountain.
A smile appears on her youthful face as she looks at the HUD display in front of her and follows the terrain with her eyes as she slams on the throttle for more speed. The speed indicator on the HUD system goes from Mach 2 to Mach 4.5 as the plane she is in speeds up without any problems.
“Pat, the base commander is trying to get in touch with you.” As a male sounding robotic generated voice fills the cockpit.
“Man, now what does General Seymour want with me?” as Pat mentally actives the radio com unit built into her helmet.
“Alpha base to Ghost Commander, come in Ghost Commander” as a strong sounding male voice fills the cockpit.
“Ghost Commander here, go ahead Alpha base.” Pat pulls back on the throttle and slows the Ghost fighter.
“Are you done showboating out there Patricia?”
“Who me? Oh, come on General you know I don’t showboat.” as a mischevious smile appears on Pat’s face.
“Then why did every Airport tower from here to the West coast picked you up and said that some crazy person must be flying?”
“He’s got you there, Pat.” Ghost robotic voice fills the cockpit again.
“Mmm!! I’m not sure General. I guess because I got so caught up in testing the new inertia dampers on Ghost. That I didn’t realize his stealth systems were offline.” Pat relaxes some and mentally, switches to the autopilot while she is talking to the General.
“Well, I need for you to check out a disturbance over the North Pole. We’re getting some type of weird energy reading from one of the satellites over the pole.”
“Okay, I’m changing course now and should be there in about twenty minutes.” Pat mentally changes the flight course of the Ghost craft and watches as the course shows up on the HUD display.
“Be careful Pat and next time remembers to use Ghost stealth systems, Alpha base out.” as the radio goes dead.
“Alright Ghost engage stealth system. Let’s go and see what this disturbance is.” Pat watches as the new navigation data appears on the HUD system.
“Stealth system engaged and course set.” Ghost robotic voice comes across Pat internal radio in her helmet.
“Then engage, warp factor 3” Pat mentally increases speeds towards the coordinates she was given.
She’s flown over the polar poles several times and never encounter anything out of the ordinary. She wonders what could be going on now. She glances at the flight speed on the HUD system and the sensor readings she was getting. There was a major energy disturbance going on.
“Ghost, slow down to cruising speed and analyze the disturbance before us.” Pat watches the energy readings she was getting on the HUD system.
There were major spikes of dimensional energies coming from the tear in the fabric of space over the North Pole. She mentally causes her fighter to get closer but stays at a safe distance.
“Ghost, what do you make of this?” Pat was watching the sensor readings that were appearing before her on the HUD system.
She was no expert and didn’t hold any degrees in dimensional physics or anything, but even she felt that something was wrong with this.
Pat could feel her fighter being pulled forward towards the rift. She kicks in the braking thrusters to slow her pull towards the energy, but it wasn’t slowing her down. Pat causes her fighter to spin completely around and kick in her main thrusters.
She was still fighting the pull, but it wasn’t pulling her free. She increases the throttle to full burn and warning system started to sound.
“Pat, were starting to lose structural integrity. I suggest engaging the forcefield.” Ghost was monitoring the structural integrity of his body and even with him reinforcing the frame. The force of the pull from the rift was getting to be to much even for him. He couldn’t engage his hyperdrive or he would be torn apart.
“Engaging force field.” Pat gives the mental command and the force field comes on-line surrounding the fighter.
“Pat, we’re being pulled through the rift.” Ghost couldn’t do anything as they get pulled through the tear in space.
Pat prepares herself for the weird disturbance as her fighter starts shutting down around her. She switches to her suits life support systems as life support shuts down in the fighter. She feels the force field drop as soon as the main power goes off-line.
She feels Ghost shut down as his presences leaves her mind. It felt weird with him not there. After a while, her fighter pops back into normal space. She couldn’t tell where she was or how far she was from the planet. All she knew, she was floating upside down and was powerless.
She reaches out with her ability and manages to get the main reactor of the fighter to reactivate. Power starts coming back on and soon Ghost himself was back online. She reestablishes her connection to his artificial brain.
“Welcome back partner.” Patricia manages to get her fighter righted.
“Thanks. I’m doing a system check now. All systems are operating within normal parameters.”
“Can you lock onto any navigation satellites or anything and find out where the hell we are?” Pat wanted to know.
Ghost scans the nearby satellites and picks one. It was a military satellite, for the United States. He searches its operating system and finds out what date, time and year it was. He checks other nearby satellites as well, to confirm what he has found out.
Pat could feel Ghost hacking into a nearby satellite. There was nothing she couldn’t feel him do because of their connection. She activates their stealth systems. Even if something was capable of picking Ghost up on their radar, he would show as a ghost image.
“What have you found out partner?” Pat was looking out her cockpit window into space.
“You’re not going to like this Pat. We have been thrown back at least twenty years to 2018, August.” Ghost had confirmed it from several nearby satellites.
“You have got to be kidding me. We were sent back in time?” Pat double checks Ghost and confirms the date and time frame.
“Dam! I hate time travel. I haven’t even been born yet and you are still on your first prototype.” Pat remembered that the company that
constructed Ghost went through several different versions before they picked his current design and turned him into a Starfighter. She was the only person capable of handling him, both mentally and physically.
“What do you want to do, Pat?” Ghost knew they couldn’t land at an Air Force base or any other military bases. Not even area 51 would let him or Pat leave once they realized what he and she are capable of.
“We’re going to have to take the risk of hiding out at the company that built you. Technically, you are still their property and I can’t really land you at a military base in this time. Too many questions would be asked.” Pat knew the owner of the company that built Ghost, kept his design quiet from them. Most of his systems are based off an alien vessel found in Egypt under a temple dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis.
Patricia sets her communication system to the private coded frequency that Aero Flight Industries uses. She hopes Mrs. Blake is available.
She knows how busy she gets sometimes.
“Ghost Commander to Janet Blake, please come in Mrs. Blake.” Pat waits a few minutes to see if she was going to answer.
Aero Flight Industries:
Ivy was walking by her mother’s communication room when she hears a request for her mother. She walks in to see who it was.
“Please repeat your request.” Ivy wonders who this Ghost Commander is.
Ghost Craft:
“Ivy, is that you? I need to speak with your mother. I need permission to land Ghost in his hangar.” Pat hopes Ivy was going to inform her mother.
Ivy was surprised when the person spoke her name “do I know you?”
Aero Flight Industries:
“Yes and no, Ivy. I need to speak to your mother. It’s an emergency. Can you grab her please?” Pat was hoping Ivy would grab her mother’s attention.
“Hold on.” Ivy didn’t know what was going on, but this person knew her name and knew this frequency.
Ivy walks out of the communication center and down to her mother’s office, where her and Tammie White were. She knocks on the door, before entering.
Janet looks up when she hears someone knock on her office door “enter!”
Ivy walks in and notices both her parents watching her as she walks in. She closes the door behind her.
“Mom, there’s a person called Ghost Commander asking for you. She said something about needing to land something called Ghost in his hangar.” Ivy didn’t know if there was a project they have called Ghost.
Both Janet and Tammie look directly at their daughter. No one other then they and the twins were the only ones that knew about project Ghost. Hell, he was still on the drawing board.
“Did you say Ghost? And who is calling for me?” Janet walks from around her desk to her youngest daughter.
Ivy looks into her mother’s blue eyes. Her mom was like her twin sister. They both had blue eyes.
“Yes, ma’am and the person was calling themselves Ghost Commander.” Ivy wonders who the person was.
“I better investigate this matter.” Janet walks back over to her desk and reroutes the signal to her desk.
“This is Janet Blake; can you please tell me how you got this frequency and identify who you are, please?” Janet was waiting.
Tammie was standing near her wife wanting to hear who this person was as well.
Ghost Fighter:
“You gave me the frequency when I first came to work for you. As for my call sign, you gave that to me as well, when you had me try out to fly a starfighter you codename Ghost. Look, it’s a long story and I could really use your help right now.” Pat could understand why Mrs. Blake wouldn’t understand her.
Aero Flight Industries: Janet Blakes office
Janet looks towards Tammie “what do you think?”
“I think we need to find out more about this young lady and the starfighter she calls Ghost. Find out where she wants to land, and I’ll have guards waiting to meet her.” Tammie starts walking towards her weapons locker and putting on her custom armor and weapons Janet designed for her.
“Look, if you really do work for me, what coordinates do you have for your fighter to land at?” Janet needed to know to send Tammie and the security team to meet her.
Ghost Fighter:
Patricia sends the coordinates of the hangar that Ghost was kept in when they were back at Aero Flight.
Aero Flight Industries:
Janet looks at the coordinates and notices that was an empty hangar that they were planning on building project Ghost in. This intrigued her greatly.
“Alright, Ghost Commander. Proceed to the hangar. What direction are you coming from?” Janet was curious because she wasn’t sure if she needed to use the runway they had.
Ghost Starfighter:
“I’m currently passing over Russia as we speak. I should be landing in about twenty minutes. Ghost Commander out.”
Twenty Minutes Later:
Tammie, Janet, Ivy and twenty security personnel watch as a Fighter craft with a ghost looking like Rambo smoking a cigar hovers over the opening and starts descending into the hangar. Anything that was laying on the floor or around the area started to lift off the floor and then fall back down once the fighter’s wheels touch the floor.
Patricia was watching everyone as Ghost lands and starts shutdown procedures. Patricia lowers the bottom half of the nose of the craft. She removes her helmet, so everyone could see who she was.
Everyone watches as the lower half of the fighter they saw landed lowers down the pilot. They watch as she takes her helmet off, revealing a short red haired girl wearing a special design flight suit. She had a patch on her right shoulder of the American flag and on her left shoulder she had a patch of Rambo looking Ghost smoking a cigar. On the front of her flight suit, it said Earth Defense Force with USAF underneath it. The flight suit had her name in neon blue letters as Patricia MacQuien. The woman didn’t even look like she was out of her teens yet.
A few minutes later, a metallic size basketball comes lifting out of the fighter and hovers near her. It looks over towards the gather people. It recognized everyone present in the hangar.
Patricia takes a deep breath as she looks towards Tammie and Janet. The last time she saw them, Janet had weird eyes from touching something she shouldn’t have, and Tammi was a little older then she was, but still as deadly. As for Ivy, she had her daughter Casey in her arms while visiting her mother.
“So, you are Ghost Commander and you say I constructed this fighter?” Janet was looking at the metallic basketball floating near Pat. She could tell it was her design.
“Yes ma’am, you and three of your children design Ghost. This is his fourth and final redesign.” Patricia could see that Janet was intrigued.
“And you’re his pilot?” Tammi wonders why they would put someone so young in charge of an advanced fighter.
“Yes ma’am, you had other pilots for his previous designs, but no one had my special gift.” Patricia knew the only reason she had been picked
to be his pilot, because of her gifts. The doctors her mother took her too performed tests on her had found out she could control anything that was electronic.
“What type of gift do you possess that the military would put you in control of such a fighter?” Tammi still wanted to know more about her.
A smile appears on Patricia’s face. She causes all their cell phones to start ringing.
“I can control electronics. If it has a microchip or is computerized in any way, I can control it. It also allows me to merge with Ghost here, so the two of us become one person. That’s why you picked me to be his partner. I am also physically more suited to withstand the high G’s and react to his controls like they are part of my body. I was born with extremely fast reflexes.” Pat wonders what was going through their minds.
“Why don’t we go upstairs to my office so Ms. MacQuien can explain how she got here.” Janet looks towards Tammi when she says this.
“I agree. George, this hangar is off limits to all personnel. I want this place locked down.” Tammi leads everyone upstairs to Janet’s office.
Patricia followed Janet and Tammi back to Janet’s office. It hadn’t changed much since her time. There were a few things missing that Janet had in her office in her time. Once they were in the office.
“Please have a seat and tell me from the beginning how you ended up here, Ms. MacQuien.” Tammi stood by, as Janet sits behind her desk.
“Okay, I was out testing the new inertia dampers you installed in Ghost. When I get a message from Alpha Base about my flying and about a disturbance over the polar pole. When I got there, you could see the opening. I stayed a good distance away from the opening, but Ghost got pulled into the opening. The next thing I know, ghost is losing power and we get pulled into the opening.” Pat could recall feeling Ghost slipping away from her. She was losing all connections to him.
“Did Ghost record the event you are describing?” Tammi was curious if the Basketball size orb that was Ghost recorded everything that went on.
“Yes, he records everything I do.” Patricia knew Janet liked to keep records of every mission she goes on.
“Do you mind if we see what you experience?” Janet was curious about what sent this young lady and the fighter to them.
“No problem. Ghost replay events from earlier this morning.” Patricia sits still as Ghost replays the events that brought them here.
A detail hologram appears and replays the events that lead to them appearing in this time and dimension. The record disappears what seems like years, and then comes back online when Pat reestablishes a connection to Ghost himself. The recording shows Ghost hacking into a nearby satellite to find out where they were.
“Okay, Ghost can you replay the sensor readings you took of the rift?” Janet was curious about that.
“Affirmative.” Ghost replays the energy readings he took of the rift.
“What were the weather conditions during the time this occurred?” Janet was curious.
“Ghost brings up the weather conditions during that time.” Pat wonders what Janet saw that might explain what happened.
Ghost brings up the weather conditions for that day. He still had the weather readings from that day stored in his memory. He was linked in with all the satellites surrounding the Earth, including the early warning space beacons as well.
Ivy’s has been quietly watching all of this as her mother’s questioned Ms. MacQuien. She wonders which of her siblings had their hands in designing Ghost and the fighter.
“Patricia, you said my mother and three of my sibling’s design Ghost. How many of him did we construct?” Ivy was curious.
“Your company only constructed two of him. The reason is, so I can bring one in to be overhaul and I’ll have a replacement to fly. As for the
rest of the starfighters the defense force has. They are produced by Boeing with R&D conducted by Aero Flight Industries. Certain Congressmen and Senators don’t trust your mother. I don’t know the true reasons behind it and I’m not going to even try and guess why. All I know is, they don’t trust your mother, but they realized she is the only one capable of developing the technology that is used in the fighters and the Space Carriers.” Patricia knew why, but she wasn’t permitted to say anything about it.
“How much do you know about our family?” Ivy has been thinking about something and she might ask Pat about it.
“Well, considering I spend more time with your family then I do my own. I know a lot about your family.” Pat knew her own family wasn’t big on spending time with each other.
“I don’t think you shouldn’t ask her any more questions, Ivy.” Tammi figures the less they know, the least damage they could do to the timeline.
“Yes, ma’am.” Ivy knew better than to disobey her mother.
Janet was still studying the hologram of the event and all the information Ghost was displaying. She couldn’t believe all the information he had on display for her or the fact she could move the hologram around like they did in the Iron Man movie.
“Pat, you said that I develop the technology of space travel from an alien ship my son finds under an Egyptian temple?” Janet looks over towards Pat.
“Yes, ma’am. Actually, it’s a colleague of his that makes the discovery and sort of goes through a physical change.” Pat couldn’t tell them the
rest, because she couldn’t understand it herself.
“So, all my ideas are stolen from an alien craft?” Janet wonders why she would do such a thing.
“Well, not exactly. You seem to understand the technology better than most people. Also, you know what type of problems it would cause if you let the current government get their hands on it. It would cause World War III. So, you invite another scientist that share your concern and invite them to help you understand the technology better.” Pat wonders how much more she should reveal to Janet.
“I think this might be a good time to stop this. You said your parents are in the military? Do you know where they are stationed right now?” Tammi wanted to change the subject matter before Pat revealed too much information.
“My father is currently stationed at Fort Meade and my mother is stationed at the Pentagon currently. I won’t be born for another three years.” Pat was recruited early because of her gifts.
“Well, we will need to establish some sort of cover id for you.” Tammi knew she needed some sort of cover.
“That’s easy to do.” Pat links up with Ghost and starts creating an identity for herself in all the major databases.
She picks a few banks and transfer funds from a CIA slush fund account. She makes sure there are no tracks that anyone could trace back.
Ghost starts printing out the driver license, credit cards and everything she will need.
“It seems your ability comes in handy.” Tammi was impressed.
“As connected as this world is, I can pretty much do whatever I want too, but it wouldn’t be right.” Patricia knew her ability over computers gave her an advantage. That wasn’t including her other mutations either.
“Well, let’s go down and get some lunch in the cafeteria.” Tammi escorts Ivy and Pat to the cafeteria.
Janet stays behind to go over the data Ghost was giving her about the event. She was looking at all the information to determine what caused the disturbance in the first place. There was something that didn’t make sense and she was going to figure it out.
It didn’t take much convincing for Andy to fly out to England to see his good friend William. The two of them have been friends since they were in elementary school. He sits back in his seat and look out the portal window.
His mother had given the okay to use the company plane to fly to England. He was going to meet up with his friend at the British Museum. According to his friend, he had found an object that had been forgotten about for the past 135 years. He was surprised that no one followed up on it or found it.
Andy picks up the pictures that William had found on the object and sent to him. One picture was the object itself. It was in the shape of an elongated cat, except the back was flatten, instead of normal. The second picture showed the hieroglyphs on the cat object. Everything looked fine except the image of some weird shape bird. It was so small and close to another, you would overlook it, but Williams hadn’t. He was very detail about everything he did. Sometimes it drove him nuts, but he liked his friend William.
He continued to look through the pictures his friend sent and some of the translation he did of the object. The writing on the object said he was cast out from the sky in a fiery explosion and crashed out into the desert. Further down the cat flattened end was writing saying that he and his chariot were buried according to his instructions.
That peaked Andy’s curiosity and his friends Williams curiosity as well. He continues to look over the notes Williams sent him and where this hidden burial spot was. William determined that the location was right under the Temple of Osiris. There was writing on the flat end of the statue that hinted at it. He closes the files and takes a sip of his whiskey.
He looks at his watch and notices he still had a few hours before they land, so he could get a nap in. He leans the seat back after finishing his whiskey and closes his eyes for a short nap. As he drifts off to sleep, he wonders what they will find out under the temple of Osiris.
Aero Flight Industries, Emery County, Utah:
Patricia was out running laps on the one runway Aero Flight only uses for their biggest airplanes. She had gotten up early and changed into exercise clothes that Alice, Janet’s oldest daughter had lent her to wear. The two of them wore the same size. Ghost had stayed with Janet all night long going over what happened to them. She knew Janet would stay up, till she found some reason that a rift had opened and dragged them to the past.
Tammie asked her not to leave the grounds. She knew she could leave if she wanted too, but she had to much respect for Tammie and didn’t want to be beaten to a bloody pulp when she got back. She was the one person she has never been able to beat in a sparring match.
The heat from the Utah desert didn’t bother her much. She could withstand hotter environments as well extreme cold. The government put a lot of testing and training into her before they allowed her to ever touch a joystick. By the time she finishes her laps. She had done over two hundred laps and was barely breaking a sweat.
Ivy had stepped outside to see what Patricia was up too. One of the guards assigned to watch over her, had reported that she was out on runway tango doing laps. She had taken one of the golf carts that they kept at the mountain complex out to her. She also took a cold bottle water with her as well. She watched Patricia do two hundred laps up and down the runway like it was nothing to her.
When she finished “I have a bottled water for you, Pat.”
“Thanks.” Patricia walks over and accepts the water.
“Is that your normal warm-up?” Ivy was curious about Patricia and how she came to possess her abilities.
“Nope, I normally swim three hundred laps and jog thirty miles with an 80-pound weighted backpack.” Pat takes a sip of the water.
“God were you, engineered or something?” Ivy was curious why she did that.
“Nope, I’m a genetic adnominally. The doctors that examine me when I was inside my mother’s womb. They couldn’t determine how my genetics got to be like they were. They have no idea how I was born with my gifts or why I was born with them. Just like how you and your siblings were born with extreme intelligence. Your mother and aunt are genius’s, but your father’s Intelligence isn’t even near your mothers. He was a talented tactician and leader, but not as smart as your mother or her twin sister.” Patricia knew both families rather well.
“You knew my father as well?” Ivy was curious about her father. She was young when he died.
“I only know what your older siblings told me and what is in your mother’s private server says about him. He was someone I would had loved to have as a father figure in my life.” Patricia thinks about her own family members.
Her mother was intelligent, and her father was extremely talented. When she turned fourteen years old. He was killed while away on a mission.
Ivy looks at Patricia and wonder if they were related somehow? The only person in their family currently that had red hair, was her cousin Sasha Wolfhart. Her aunt was blonde like her mother, except when she went on stage to perform.
They were heading back to the entrance that went into the main tunnel that leads to the elevators that took them up to operations.
“I could never figure out why your mother took an abandon copper mine and turned it into her main headquarters.” Patricia just watches where they were going.
“Mom figured that the natural defenses of the rock would protect the place and make it harder for people to break in or ease drop with
surveillance equipment. Also, there’s no way you can explain why you are out in the middle of the desert.” Ivy had wondered the same thing about why her mother turned an abandon copper mine into her headquarters.
They park the golf cart and Ivy walks with Patricia to the room she was assigned. They walk into the room.
“Do you have a room here in the future?” Ivy was curious.
“Yep, this exact same room as a matter of fact.” Patricia had asked Tammie to assign her this room. Mainly, because it put her close to her fighter.
“So, you conned my mother asking for this room?” Ivy had a smile on her face.
“Yep.” Patricia flops down in the armchair in the room. She had a smile on her face.
“I still can’t get over how young you look. The Ivy I know is married and has two twin girls.” Patricia knew she let that info slipped out, but Ivy was her friend.
“I have twin girls?” Ivy looks at Patricia in shock.
“Yep, two beautiful light brown hair girls.” Pat wishes she could show her the pictures she had of them.
“I think I better stop before you tell me who my husband will be.” Ivy wanted to wait on that.
“Fine with me. By the way, where is your brother Andy right now?” Patricia was curious where he was.
“He’s on his way to England right now. His friend William called him and said he stumbled onto something very important.” Ivy had answered the call and got permission from their mother to take a company jet to England.
“So, it begins.” Pat connections to Ghost mentally to let him know.
Janet’s Office:
Janet was still looking over the scans Ghost did, when something catches her eyes. She pulls the image in more and notices something hanging back near the moon.
“Ghost, what is that object in the background near the moon?” She has been missing it all night long.
Ghost searches thru his memory banks to identify what the object is but couldn’t match it to anything in his memory.
“Object is unknown.” Ghost couldn’t identify it.
“Can you sharpen up that area of space?” The scan wasn’t the greatest in that area.
Ghost sharpens up the image and filters the scans, but still, nothing showed up in his memory banks. He records the image for later.
“Still can’t identify it Ghost?” Janet was curious and wishes they could go back and identify it.
“Affirmative.”
Janet walks over to her coffee marker and fixes herself a cup of coffee. She has a sinking feeling that whatever the vessel was they found was
responsible for Ghost and Patricia being here. The question is, why send them in the first place?
“God, I have forgotten how sluggish the controls are of the Vector.” Patricia was flying one of the experimental fighter jets that Aero Flight Industries were experimenting with.
The Vector was their newest fighter and could do things the F-35C and F-22 Raptor couldn’t do. The fighter was armed with lasers and the targeting system was beyond anything they currently had. The targeting system could lock onto any missile aimed at it or the pilot could choose to outrun it. The stealth systems of the Vector made it almost invisible on current radar systems. The Chinese had a new system that could pick-up the Vector, but Janet was working on a countermeasure for it. Weather satellites could detect the Vector as it flew through the
atmosphere. The problem with the Vector is that by the time you picked it up. It would be on top of you.
Patricia puts it through its paces, being careful of the controls. The Vector wasn’t designed to react to her reaction times. Ghost couldn’t be flown by a normal pilot because of how sensitive his controls were. The Vector, on the other hand, didn’t have his reaction times.
“ATI Flight tower to Vector 1, it’s time to bring the bird back home.” Jackie had been keeping track of Patricia as she flew the fighter jet.
Jackie didn’t know where Mrs. Blake found the pilot she has been monitoring. The woman pushed the aircraft to the breaking point. She had never seen a pilot that worked for the company to do what she did with the fighter. She watches as the Vector lands and rolls towards the hangar.
“Where did Mrs. Blake get that pilot?” George had left his station and walked over to stand next to Jackie. He watches as the fighter rolled into hangar 4.
“Don’t know. Tammie said that she has clearance for any of our aircraft. They also have locked down hangar 14. No one is allowed over there, and they have posted guards outside the door to it.” Jackie was curious on what they were keeping in that hangar.
“Well, you know Mrs. Blake. She likes to keep her secrets.” George has worked for her since they constructed the latest base.
Hangar 4:
Samantha watches as Vector 1 rolled into the hangar. Her mother said to let the red hair woman that knew her by name, fly the fighter. She watches as Patricia parks the fighter in its original spot.
Patricia waits for the canopy to flip up as she climbs down from the cockpit. She takes her helmet off and shakes her hair. She looks over towards Sam, one of Janet’s daughters.
“Here, give me your pad please.” Patricia holds her hand out for it.
Sam hands it to her.
“Thanks.” Patricia uploads what she gathered from the flight computer and sensors throughout the fighter. She also adds in her own
recommendation from the older Vectors from her time frame.
Sam just watched as Patricia looked at the pad, after a few minutes with it. She looks up and at her. Sam wonders who this person was and how did her mother come across her.
Patricia hands the pad back to Sam “here you go, all done Sammy.”
Sam just gives her a dirty look at the name of Sammy. Only her oldest cousin on her mom’s side of the family calls her Sammy.
“Sorry, Sam. Your cousin Janus taught me the nickname he called you.” Pat liked Janus because he was fun to spar with. He was a special operative like his little sister Sasha.
“Who are you?” This girl knew things about her and her family that only a family member would know.
“I can’t tell you much, Sam. However, I can tell you this. I haven’t been born yet.” Patricia just gives her a Cheshire smile as she walks out of the hangar and up to Operations where Ghost was.
Mrs. Blake felt it was best to keep the Ghost craft hidden for now.
When she gets to Janet’s office, she knocks on the door.
“Enter” Janet was looking at the energy reading Ghost recorded of the rift and the reading his own hyperdrive gave off.
Patricia walks in and saw Ghost projecting readings from the scans she took and then his own reading of his hyperdrive. She notices they were similar in sensor readings. Patricia stood there and wonder what was going on.
Janet looks towards Patricia as she walked into her office “Pat, are there any research laboratories at the North Pole conducting Hyperspace research?”
“Not that I am aware of. If there was, I wouldn’t know anything about. Why do you ask?” Now Patricia was curious.
“I believe from Ghost sensor readings that someone at the North Pole was conducting Hyperspace research at the same time, this ship here was getting ready to open a jump portal.” Janet had access to everything Ghost had on the different faster than light engines they had where he came from. The energies the portal was giving off, was like the energies that surrounded Ghost when he entered hyperspace. Since, a jump engine opens a portal, the two energies cross and tore an opening into the fourth dimension.
“So, your saying we were drawn into the time dimension and ended up here?” Patricia was confused.
“It’s just a theory, but so far the information fit the facts.” Janet has been pouring over everything, only sleeping for a few hours. Her wife
Tammie knew when Janet was working on a problem. She never stopped until she either resolved the problem or came up with some sort of theory.
“Too bad I can’t confirm your theory.” Patricia was just a simple fighter pilot.
“Maybe, still Ghost is a remarkable computer system and the history he has shown me so far is amazing.” Janet had asked Ghost all sorts of
questions about where they had come from and the different versions of himself.
She knew it was dangerous and she could change the future, but according to Ghost. Nothing unusual has changed in his memory.
“You built him, so all he is, is what you made him to be. I gave my recommendation to your daughter Sammy about the Vector.” Patricia likes calling Samantha, Sammy.
Janet smirks when she hears Patricia call her daughter Sammy. Only her nephew called her that.
“You must hang out with Janus a lot.” Janet knew who nicknamed her daughter.
“He was one of my instructors and I spar with him off and on. He’s the head of your investigation department during my time and has five kids.” Patricia didn’t worry about telling Janet what her kids, nieces, and nephew are doing or have become.
London, England:
Andy couldn’t believe what he was seeing for himself on the object his friend had found. The pictures he sent didn’t do it justice. Andy examines the figurine in his hand.
“You say this has been here at the museum for the past 135 years?” Andy looks at his friend.
“Yes, it has been buried in the museum’s stored collection. I tried looking up who found it or donated it to the museum, but there are no records about it.” William watches his best friend Andy. Both came from rich families.
William knew Andy’s father had been a military officer and his mother was a famous Doctor and Scientist. He liked all of Andy’s sisters and
brothers. He only had two other siblings. Andy, on the other hand, had five other siblings. Andy’s twin sister was a doctor like her mother and Andy himself was a builder like his mother. He also did some special work like their cousins.
“So, what is your plan, William?” Andy looks at his friend with the statue in his hands.
“I want to go and see if the writing on the statue is true. Can you imagine if ancient people actually had Aliens among them?” William was excited about the find.
Andy looks around Williams work area and could tell he has been doing research on this statue. He turns and looks at William himself.
“You know we’ll need permission from the antiquity department of Egypt.” Andy knew how hard it was to get permission to take things out of Egypt.
“Come on Andy. You know they will want to send some of their people with us.” William had a few friends that worked for the antiquity department he could trust.
“I know.” Andy has dealt with them off and on. He knew a few people in the government that might turn their heads if they find something.
“When do you want to leave, William?” Andy puts the statue down on the table.
“Today, if we could.” William knew Andy had the resources to do this expedition.
Andy was shocked at what William was asking. This was completely out of character for his friend.
“Are you feeling okay? Normally, you would want to do more planning and research.” Andy hopes William wasn’t in any trouble.
“I’m one hundred percent sure. I have been dreaming about what we could find.” William was excited and wanted to check and see if the information was true.
“Alright, let me make some arrangements and we’ll leave tomorrow. While we are waiting to hear back from my contacts. Why don’t you show me the sights?” A smile appears on his face.
“Alright, I’ll let my supervisor know I am taking a few days off.” William walks out of the office to track down his supervisor.
Andy makes a few phone calls while he is gone.
Janet was down in the hangar where the Ghost Fighter was stored. Ghost had followed behind her.
“Ghost, can you lower the cockpit, please?” Janet was wondering why she designed the fighter with a downward cockpit.
Ghost sends the signal to the fighter and the cockpit lowers down. Janet sits in the seat and the cockpit starts going back up into the fighter. As soon as the cockpit is secured. She starts looking at how the cockpit is laid out. She spots the throttle on the left-hand side of her and the control stick mounted on her right. All the gauges were lite up and there was a low hum to the fighter.
“Ghost, what weapons are you equipped with?” Janet was looking for weapon selection panel.
“I’m equipped with two internal rotary missile launchers, high power particle lasers array line my wing edges, giving me a full hundred eighty-degree arcs of fire, six railguns, an ion pulse field generator, and rear defense pulse plasma cannons.”
“Damn, what is your classification?” Janet wonders why she armed Ghost so heavy.
“I’m classified as a heavy fighter.”
“What is your defensive capability?” Janet wonders what his defensive capability was.
“I’m equipped with a high-power deflector shield and cloaking technology. My armor plating is capable of deflecting eighty percent of any energy weapon fired at me.”
“Can the two be used at the same time?” Janet wonders if she came up with a way to merge the two functions.
“Negative, cloaking field cannot be used at the same time as the deflector shield.”
Janet wonders if the deflector shield generators also produce the cloaking field. She continues to look at the how the controls were laid out.
“Ghost, how many heavy fighters are similar to you?” Janet spots the sensor scanner and flicks the switch.
“I'm consider one of a kind. The other heavy fighters aren’t equipped like me. My sensor package is of Starship class and I’m equipped with a long-range hyper-drive. Would you like to go for a test flight?”
“I don’t have a flight suit.” Janet would love to go, but she didn’t have a flight suit she figured she would need in Ghost.
“No flight suit is needed.” As Ghost makes the overhead hangar doors to open and he starts lifting off the hangar floor.
Janet puts the harness on and secures herself in the pilot’s seat. The cockpit gauges come to life. Once Ghost clears the hangar doors, he tilts to a forty-five-degree angle and fires his main thrusters.
Janet doesn’t even feel the g-forces as Ghost blast upward. Patricia had mentioned that he had an inertia damper. Janet watches as the stealth indicator lights up.
“Ghost did you just engage your stealth systems?” Janet figures that was why it was lit up.
“Affirmative.”
Janet just watches as they continued to climb. She couldn’t believe she was going into space. She watches as they leave Earth’s atmosphere. She figures she would feel weightless, but she didn’t
“Ghost, do you generate your own gravity?” That would be the only reason she was still feeling gravity in the fighter.
“Affirmative.”
Ghost flips over so Janet could see the planet below. The cockpit glass darkens some to protect her from solar radiation and the bright sunlight.
“Ghost how long would it take you to fly to the moon?” Janet wonders what his speed was.
“I can reach the moon in five minutes or Mars in ten minutes. Would you like to see the moon?”
Janet couldn’t help it, “actually, take me to Mars.”
“Engaging sublight drive.”
Janet watches on the HUD system as coordinates appear in front of her. She couldn’t believe how fast she was traveling as she watches the stars go by her as Ghost accelerates rapidly. She only felt a little disturbance as she was pushed back into the seat.
AFI Flight Tower:
Jake was on duty when he noticed that the restricted hangar was opening. An object that was inside it hovered above the hangar doors and tilted up to forty-five degrees. The next thing he saw, was it takening the off like a bat out of hell.
“Did anyone give permission for the object in the research hangar to take off?” Jake looks towards all the flight control personnel present.
“No, none of us gave anyone permission to take off.” Tela has been monitoring all incoming and outgoing traffic from their facilities.
“Does anyone have it on radar?” Jake was still watching everyone.
“I had it a few seconds ago, but now it is gone.” Mike had seen it for a few seconds and then lost it.
“Contact Tammi and inform her.” Jake knew Tammi would want to hear about this.
Tammi was in her security office going over reports when she gets a message from the flight tower. Jake image appears on her computer monitor.
“What can I do for you, Jake?” Tammi puts her ink pen down.
“Ma’am, the object in the R&D hangar has just taken off. We had it on the radar for a few seconds, but we can’t track it anymore.”
“I see. Who was the last person to access that hangar?” Tammi wanted to know who went in there without her or Janet’s permission.
“Don’t know ma’am.” Jake didn’t have access to that information.
Tammi brings the security records up and watches as Ghost and Janet heads into the hangar. She continues to watch the security footage and watch as Janet climbed in and then the activation of the hangar doors.
“I know who it is Jake. Thank you for letting me know it had left.” Tammi ends the video call.
“Tammi to security, where is Ms. MacQuien currently?” Tammi wonders if she could contact Ghost and have him return.
“She’s out horseback riding with officer Stone and officer Yeung.” Chief Graham had given the okay for Patricia to leave the facilities.
“Thank you chief.” Tammi picks the company cell up and dials officer Yeung’s number.
Patricia and her two security bodyguards were out horseback riding. She really couldn’t do anything until Andy start putting things in motion. So, she figured she would go horseback riding.
Back in her time, she didn’t get much time to do any horseback riding. She was always sent into space and spent at least a year or more out on the frontier. She loved space, but she also loved natural.
As they were riding by a formation of rocks, Yeung cell phone starts to ring. Yeung taps her blue tooth.
“Security Officer Yeung here.” Yeung knew it had to come from ATI.
“Is Ms. MacQuien near you?” Tammi figures Pat could use her ability to link into Yeung cell.
“Yes ma’am, she’s directly ahead of me.” Yeung wasn’t much of a rider, so she tends to hang back some.
“Ask her to link in with you., please.” Tammi needs to have Pat order Ghost back to the hangar.
“Okay, Tammi.” Yeung looks towards Patricia.
“Patricia, Tammi needs for you to link in to talk with you.” Yeung wonders how Pat was going to do that.
“No problem.” Patricia links into Yeung’s cell phone “what do you need Tammi?”
Yeung could hear what Patricia was saying. She was still guiding her horse in front of her.
“Ghost left the hangar and we can’t track him. Can you order him back to the hangar?” Tammi hopes she can.
“Who’s inside of him?” Pat knew there were only a handful of people Ghost would allow inside of him.
“Janet is.”
“Then, there is nothing I can do to make him come back. He’s programmed to follow her orders since she and her family built him.” Pat knew Janet overrode her control.
“Damn! Do you know where they are right now?” Tammi wasn't sure Pat would know, but it was worth a shot.
“They are currently flying on Mars.” Pat had a sub-space transceiver at the base of her skull that allows her to stay in touch with Ghost with her ability.
“How do you know that?” Tammi was curious.
“Because I asked him. I have a sub-space transceiver at the base of my skull that allows me to stay in contact with him. I can even tap into any frequency currently use or not used.” A smile appears on Pat’s face.
“He said to give them twenty more minutes. There is something Ghost picked up that Janet wants to check out.” Pat saw the scan as well. She doesn’t recognize the shape of the object.
“Fine, I’ll see them when they get back.” Tammi ends the call.
Yeung couldn’t believe what she heard about Mrs. Janet being on Mars.
“You can travel to any planet you want too?” Yeung just looks at Patricia.
“Yep, let’s head back so you can see my fighter.” Pat turns her horse around and heads back to the Aero Flight Industries.
Mars:
Ghost had gone planetside at Janet’s request and his sensors had locked onto something. Janet saw the scan and wanted to look of it. She watches as Ghost slowed down and hovers over the object.
“Ghost, can you give me a scan of this object?” Janet wanted to see what it was.
“Sending probes.” Ghost release two small probes that were the size of a baseball.
They enter through an opening and start scanning the object. As the scans came back, Ghost runs it through his ship’s identity library. His scans show it to be a Nekkavons transport ship. The signs also showed the occupants had died on impact. Ghost couldn’t get an energy signature of the weapons used against it. He has one of his drones plug into the ships computer systems and power the computer systems. He downloads the whole computer memory.
“Ghost, who were they and what are you doing?” Janet had seen information flashed on the center display of the fighter.
“They were the Nekkavons and I’m downloading their computer memory.”
“Oh! Does us discovering them disturb the time frame?” Janet knew she was risking the future each time she interacted with Ghost.
“Negative. Your company was the first team that found the ship.” Ghost had done a memory scan, and nothing has changed so far.
“Is there anything else in there we could take back to Earth to examine?” Janet wouldn’t mind taking a souvenir back.
Ghost has his probes grab a few items and put them in the small cargo bay to take back. Once the computer download is finished. The two probes return to Ghost.
“I think we better head back to headquarters Ghost.” Janet figures Tammi must have discovered she isn’t on company ground.
Ghost plots a new course back to Earth. He waits till he is out of Mars atmosphere before engaging the sub-light drive. He engages the force field to protect the fighter as he reenters Earth’s atmosphere.
Janet watches as flames surround them as they reenter the atmosphere. She doesn’t even feel the heat inside the fighter. As they approached her company, Ghost hovers right over the hangar and lands once the hangar doors opened completely.
Tammi and Patricia come walking in as the lower half of the cockpit opens and lowers Janet. The cargo bay opens, and Ghost gently lowers the items they collected to the floor.
“You brought back souvenirs from Mars?” Tammi couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
Patricia just smiles “looks like it’s of alien design.”
“Yes, and you wouldn’t believe the trip.” Janet walks over and gives Tammi a kiss.
“Have fun you two.” Patricia turns around and leaves the hangar.
Egypt, Cario, Airport:
Andy and Williams land in Cario International. Andy took the company Lear he had arrived on. He got in touch with his contacts in Egypt and they were waiting for him and William when they landed. Andy noticed that Arthur Fawkes and his team were waiting for them as they landed.
Arthur watched as his friend Andy Blake’s Lear lands and drives over towards them. Once the plane comes to a complete stop. The door opens, and Williams is the first one down, followed by Andy.
“Andy, my friend its so good to see you again.” As Arthur gives Andy the traditional Egyptian greeting.
“Arthur, it is good to see you again as well. How are the wife and kids?” The last time Andy saw Arthur, his oldest son was in the hospital and needed a specialist. He had come in as protection for his twin sister while she performed the needed surgery.
“My son is doing a lot better, since your sister operated on him. Our family is indebted to you.”
“Don’t worry about it, Arthur. My twin sister is a lot like our mother. She gets enjoyment out of seeing her patients enjoy life. The reason I called you, is I need access to the Temple of Osiris. I know you need special permission to enter the Temple.” Andy knew the Temple has been off limits to the public and tourist since the uprising in 2013.
If you wanted to visit the Temple, you had to ask permission from the Egyptian government. He was lucky that Arthur worked in the antiquities department. He could authorize them access to the Temple.
Arthur looks at his friend “I don’t see why I couldn’t give you a tour of the place.”
“Thanks, my friend. Now, why don’t we get out of this heat and head to the Temple?” Andy wipes his forehead.
“You need to spend more time out in the desert, my friend. You spend to much time in the boardrooms.” Arthur knew Andy worked for his mother as one of her troubleshooters.
“I live out in the desert.” Arthur takes the passenger seat in the Land Rover Arthur drove.
William watched as his friend interacted with Arthur. He didn’t know Andy was so connected.
“Arthur, you remember my friend William, don’t you?” As Andy looks at Arthur.
Arthur glances in the rearview mirror at Williams “Ah yes, welcome to Egypt Mr. Williams. How are things at the British Museum?”
“They are good right now. We have several research teams going over some forgotten items in our storage.” That was how Williams came across his discovery.
“I would love to see what is in your forgotten storage about my country.” Arthur felt that all artifacts that Britain had should be given back to his country.
Temple of Osiris:
The ride to the Temple didn’t take long. Andy, Williams, and Arthur along with several students and assistants walked into the Temple. The place had been closed for the past five years. It wasn’t one of the more popular Temples.
As they walk into the Temple, there was dust everywhere. They still had lights, but there was dust and sand covering things. Some of the display cases were missing items from them.
“What happened to these exhibits, Arthur?” Andy stops to look at them.
“We had a break-in about a year ago. Some items have been recovered, but we are still missing a few.” Arthur had an idea who had the items in their collection.
While Arthur and Andy were talking, Williams was looking around along with the students that came along. Andy walked with Arthur examining the broken exhibits. Andy also kept an eye on Williams as well.
They move from one room to another room and finally come to the last room off the main chamber. Arthur could tell that Williams was looking for something. He turns towards Andy “Andy, what is your friend looking for?”
“You noticed that. He came across an interesting artifact that had clues about a hidden door here in the Temple. He’s looking for that door or hidden room.” Andy hopes Arthur believes him.
“What artifact?” Arthur was curious.
“Something that has been in storage for the last hundred thirty-five years.” Andy wasn’t going to spoil Williams surprised.
Just as Arthur was about to say something, the temple starts shaking some and the lights start flickering. Andy and Arthur head towards the room where Williams and the students were. They were standing in front of a shelf cut in the blocks. It starts lowering, revealing a concealed stairway.
“Well, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle.” Andy walks over and looks down into the darkness. He pulls a flashlight out and shine it down the dark staircase.
“I had no idea this was here.” Arthur couldn’t believe that this had been behind the shelf that had candles on it.
As they walked down the stone steps. The walls seemed to have a slight yellowish glow to them as they went deeper and deeper.
“Did anyone bring a Geiger counter with them?” Andy had noticed that the yellow glow got brighter and brighter as they went further down the staircase.
“How deep do you think we are?” One of the grad students that was up front near Williams wanted to know.
“Don’t know.” After a few more minutes, they reach the bottom.
Williams saw hieroglyphs carved onto a silver color door. There was also a panel next to the door with jewels and small blocks in it.
“Do you mind if I take a look at it?” Arthur was curious.
Andy snaps pictures of the hieroglyphs on the door and on the panel next to it. He checks to see if he was getting a signal, which he wasn’t.
He was going to send the picture to his mother. She could send the images through the computers to decipher.
The yellow glow was bright enough to light the area they were in up. Andy turns the flashlight off.
“Arthur, Williams can the two of you figure those hieroglyphs out?” Andy could read them, but he wasn’t an expert like his twin sister or like
Williams was.
“It’s says that it is the tomb of the Sky God Vise. To enter, you must know how to call the sky god.” Williams was sure that he translated it right.
“He’s right.” Arthur was amazed that Williams got it right.
Williams and Andy look at the panel studying the jewels and the stones. Williams looks down at his artifact and notices the order of the gems on it. He taps them in on the panel. For each gem he taps, it glows. Once he taps the right jewels, the door slides sideways.
“Okay, that is something the ancient Egyptians didn’t invent.” Once everyone was inside, the door closes behind them.
There were four sarcophaguses in front of them and behind the sarcophaguses, was the biggest spaceship they had ever seen. They could see the outline of it from the yellow glow that was bright enough to illuminate the room. If they were going to do more work, they would need more light inside the hangar.
“I’ll be a monkey’s uncle. You were right Williams.” Andy couldn’t believe what he was seeing in front of him.
Arthur couldn’t believe what he was seeing either. He was wondering how they got something that big down here. He shines a flashlight up and figures they had to be at least hundred feet or more down.
“Man, I can’t believe this.” Williams walks around the ship examining it.
It was thirty meters tall and at least a hundred fifty meters long. The Beam of it was at least a hundred and thirty meters. It looked like it had
wings sweep forward of it. Like a bird resting.
“I can’t believe I was right.” William couldn’t believe it.
“I can’t believe it either. Do you know how this changes my countries history?” Arthur looks at the students that came with him and his friend Andy.
“Before we tell the government, I suggest we keep this quiet. Also, I think I should call my mother and have her send a team over here to tell
us what it is.” Andy knew if the other world governments found this out. They would try to claim it and use it for their own selfish reasons.
Arthur looks towards Andy “do you think it is wise to have your mother send a team here? I could always share this with members of my government.”
“How many of them can you trust not to use this for their own selfish reasons?” Andy figures his mother would know people she could trust.
They would need to get this ship back to her mountain research facilities.
“Only a few I could trust not to tell the government.” Arthur hand only a handful of people he knew that wouldn’t abuse his trust.
“Well, what ever you guys do. You’re going to have to do it from up top. It’s a dead zone down here. I can’t get a signal.” One of the grad students had tried to send a text out since they came into the hangar.
Andy looks at his watch and discovered they have been down here for hours. Andy looks over at Williams as he tries to find a way into the ship.
“Guy’s I’m heading back up to the top. Please try not to blow anything up or bring that thing online.” As Andy looks towards the huge spaceship.
“I’ll make sure Williams and the grad students stay out of trouble, Andy.” Arthur walks over and takes pictures of the ship himself.
Andy heads back to the Temple. Then he goes outside of the Temple and check to see if he had satellite connection. He sends the pictures first to the company main frame and place a call to his mother.
William kept looking around as his friend Andy was up topside. He had found a weird object in the shape of an orb and it had hieroglyphs on it.
Some of the hieroglyphs looked like the writing on the statue. As he was examining the orb, one of his fingers had touched one of the symbols. The next thing he knew, he couldn’t move, and a weird energy field surrounded his body. He tried to scream as he felt his body change. He could feel his bones, muscles, skin, hair, and eyes change. The pain he felt was so strong that, he was on the vague of blacking out as he felt his body changed.
Aero Flight Industries:
Janet and Tammie were laying in bed when they hear the emergency line for the kid’s ring. Tammie answers the phone on her side of the bed.
“Hello?”
“Tammie it’s Andy. I need to talk to my mother.” Andy knew his mother was in a lesbian relationship with Tammie.
It had started after the death of his father. Tammie had been hired to be his mother’s new bodyguard. The relationship hadn’t happened overnight. It had been years after the death of his father that his mother became Tammie’s lover and a year after she did, they got married.
“What’s the problem, Andy?” As Tammie gently shakes Janet’s shoulder.
“Are you near a computer right now?” The images that he took should be on the server.
“Yea.” She grabs the remote keyboard and switches the screen on the television from TV to computer.
She looks at Janet who was slowly waking up. Janet had been spending long hours working with Ghost on how Patricia got here. She knew Janet was working on a way to send her home.
“I upload some pictures to the server. Go to my folder and the pictures should be there.” Andy looks around at the desert as he spoke to his other mother.
He didn’t mind Tammie marrying his mother. He knew the two of them were deeply in love. He knew she cared about his mother. They had used donated sperm from one of Tammie’s brothers to have his other siblings.
Tammie goes to the folder that held Andy’s stuff and clicked at the newest downloads that had been added. She saw the pictures but couldn’t believe them.
“Where did you get these images, Andy?” Tammie shakes Janet again to get her attention.
Janet wanted to smack Tammie for waking her. She was having a nice dream.
“WHAT?” Janet looks at Tammie pissed off.
“See what your son just found grumpy pants.” Tammie knew Janet was a grumpy person if she was disturbed while she was asleep.
Janet looks at the pictures and couldn’t believe it.
“Are these images real?” Janet presses the button on the phone for speaker.
“They are real, mom. I saw the ship myself. It’s under the Temple of Osiris in a large cavern that looks like it is some sort of underground hangar.”
“Are you calling me from down inside?” Janet knew her son carried one of her covert satellite phones.
“No ma’am, no electronic signal can escape from down there.” Andy knew all the electronic devices they had except their cameras wouldn’t work.
Tammie was still looking through the pictures he sent. Janet was looking at them as well. This is what Patricia said would happen.
“I’ll have a team to your location in a few hours, sweetie.” Janet gets up out bed.
“Do you know how you are going to get this back to the company without anyone knowing?” Andy was curious.
“No, but I know someone who does, sweetie. I’ll see you in a few hours.” Janet starts getting dress.
“Alright, mom. See you then.” Andy ends the call.
Hidden hangar underneath the Temple of Osiris:
Andy makes his way back down into the hangar. He tries to locate Arthur but couldn’t find him. He stops one of the students that had come with Arthur.
“Where’s Arthur?” Andy was watching the student's body language.
“We don’t know. We have been trying to locate him and the other fellow.” Nour had found an inscription that looked to be some sort of warning, but his translations weren’t the best.
“Let’s look for them, then.” Andy starts searching along with the rest of the students.
Andy finds a young teenage girl laying the ground. She looked to be wearing the same clothes as his friend Arthur had worn. He searches his pockets and pull her wallet out and opened it. It had Arthur’s driver license and several other items.
“What the fuck?” Andy looks at the girl and couldn’t believe how she looked.
She looked nothing like Arthur had or any of his kids. She was completely different. She looked more like what ancient Egyptians use to look like. Andy snaps a few pictures and checks her pulse. She seemed fine to her.
He stands up and continues looking for William. He finds another girl slumped on the floor in front of an orb. The girl looked to be dress in the same clothes that William had worn. Her looks were like the first girl he found, but she was younger. She looked to be the age of his sister Ivy. He takes a few pictures of her.
He drags William and Arthur back to where they came in. Whatever knocked them out, looked to be extremely effective. He lets the students know he found them, sort of.
Aero Flight Industries, Emery County, Utah:
Janet and Tammie had gotten up and dressed in record time. Janey made a few calls to have a scientific team assembled. The team had a few pilots in it and members from her engineering department.
Patricia had given her the names of her employees she could trust and were on the team that brought the ship back. As the team stood assembled in hangar bay six, where most of the large planes she owned were stored. She looked at all the members gathered. The engineering team was busy installing a special stealth unit aboard two of her VTOL transport planes.
Patricia was nearby, waiting for the transport planes to take off. She watches as the planes took off VTOL style into the air. Once they were off.
Ghost hovers off the ground and follows the transport planes.
The flight to Egypt was boring to Patricia. So, far no one picked her up. The problem was going to be landing the transports and her fighter.
According to the map where the Temple of Osiris was located. It was located outside the city. She knew first hand that the cavern the alien vessel was in, was an actual underground hanger.
The ship was going to need a jumpstart from Ghost to power up its systems to be able to fly back to the states. She just hopes they don’t draw attention to themselves. They finally land in Egypt near the Temple.
“Ghost monitor all government transmission for any mention of us. Also, do the calculations to extend your force field to protect the transport.” Patricia was hoping she wouldn’t need to use it.
Underneath the Temple:
Andy looks at his two friends and wonders what he was going to do about them. He had to check for himself to see if they were completely turned into women. After he was done checking them and finding they were women fully. He makes them comfortable and heads back up to call his mother again.
When he spoke to her, she was only a few hours out. He informed her about what happened to William and Arthur. He also sent the pictures he took so she could see for herself and the orb that looked to be responsible for her transformation.
Andy watched as the sunset. Two hours later, the two VTOL transports that belonged to his mother’s company land along with a fighter he has never seen before. He saw the insignia on the tail of the fighter. It was the same insignia that he, his sister and two other siblings had come up with.
He watches as the lower half of the fighter opens and the pilot is lowered to the ground. They were wearing a skintight white suit that had their name, Earth Defense Force, then underneath the Earth Defense Force, was USAF. On the other side was the persons call sign and their last name underneath their call sign.
When the pilot removed their helmet, he notices she had red hair that came down to her shoulder. He spots his mother’s departing the first transport. He walks over towards them, as her personal security team takes up protection deployment.
“Sorry for dragging you out here mom, but you need to see this. Also, who’s the redhead?” Andy glances over towards the female pilot.
“She’s from the future, Andy and she knows about what is under us. Also, it's alright. I wanted to see if her story was true about an alien craft being out here.” Janet had to admit that Patricia has been right so far.
“Well, let me escort you down to see it for yourself. Also, what are we going to do about William and Arthur?” Andy was concerned about his friends.
“I don’t know yet.” Janet follows her son down the hidden steps towards the hangar.
Patricia follows behind them. She gets the shivers every time she came to this place. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but this place always creeped her out.
Janet spots the coffins “are those the aliens who crashed here, Patricia?”
“Yes, they have the head of a Falcon and a body like ours. The ancient Egyptians mistook them as descendants of the God Horus. They are called the Xet'al and come from a planet that is three times the size of Earth with a heavy gravity.” Patricia met one, one time and nearly got her ass kicked in a fight with the person.
Their extra dense body gave them an advantage in a low gravity environment. If she hadn’t been as agile as she was. She would have been dead. Her quick reflexes saved her ass in the fight.
“I’ll be a monkey’s uncle!” Janet and Tammie stop when they see the alien spacecraft.
“Told you.” Patricia walks over towards it and places her hand on the controls to open the landing ramp.
“The engineer of the ship managed to repair it with the materials he found here on earth, but it doesn’t have enough power to take off.” Patricia walks up the ramp like she has done a dozen times before.
“So, how did I get power to it before?” Janet looks at Patricia as she is led to the bridge.
“You diverted power off the turbines of your transport. It gave you enough power to charge up the power cell this ship uses to bring its main engines online. However, I think instead of using the turbines, you could plug into Ghost main reactor and pull power from him. He has a
unique power generator that you design to power his weapon systems.”
“We'll need a cable long enough to reach from above ground to here.” As they walk onto the bridge.
“Actually, I know how to open the hangar doors.” Patricia walks over to the console and uses her ability to activate the ship systems.
“She glances towards the power indicator. There’s enough power here to turn the lights on and power the hangar doors. There’s not enough to run any of the major functions of the ship.” Patricia looks around and could see that repairs had been done.
She wonders what happened to the other crew and if their merchandise/cargo was still intact. She turns to leave the bridge.
“Where are you going, Pat?” Andy noticed she was leaving.
“Going to check on the cargo. Also, wondering where the other members of this ships are.” Pat heads down towards the cargo hold.
Andy follows behind her, leaving his mothers on the bridge looking at how it was set-up. He wonders how she knows so much about this ship.
“Mom said you’re from the future. Is that true?” Andy looks at the back of Patricia’s head.
“Yep, I’m from the future and I’m not going to tell you who your wife is or how well you did. I will tell you this, you were one of my instructors and we got along fine.” Patricia takes another set of ladders down to the cargo area.
She recognized some of the cargo containers. They hadn’t changed much. There were things missing and some of the things were missing parts and pieces.
“Well, now we know how they repaired the ship.” Patricia turns around to face Andy.
“The thing is, why didn’t they control the Empire? They have things here that they could use.” Andy picks up an item that had been disassembled.
“Because the Xet'al has big ego’s and prefer hand-to-hand combat. They dislike laser rifles and such. If you can beat a Xet’al in hand combat.
You would be treated with respect and given honor among their kind.” Every time Patricia encountered a Xet’al she was treated with a lot of respect.
Andy and Patricia keep exploring the ship. They finally find the rest of the crew in stasis pods. They were still active, but the power indicator was showing it in the danger zone.
“It looks like the units are about ready to shut off.” Andy had looked at the units.
“If we hurry, we can get them powered back up.” Patricia knew in her time, they lost one of them.
Bridge:
Tammie was looking around the bridge. She saw Janet pick up a headset and put it on. The next thing she knows, is Janet shaking violently. A bright yellow light emits from the headset and straight into Janet’s eyes.
Tammie rushes over to Janet and catches her as she falls to the floor. Janet’s body was still shaking as Tammie held her. When she looked into Janet’s eyes, they were black. Some of their research team was near the bridge “get me a doctor up here.”
The person turns around and runs to find one of the two doctors on their team. Andy and Patricia were heading back up to the bridge when they run into the person.
“Andy, you need to get to the bridge. Your mother has had an accident.” The person runs off to get the doctor.
Andy starts running towards the bridge, where he sees his mother shaking as Tammie holds her. He runs over towards them and looks at Tammie.
“What can I do to help her?” Andy was concerned about his mother.
“There’s nothing you can do. Her mind is adjusting to all the information she just received.” Patricia knew this was going to happen to Janet.
“You knew and didn’t warn my mother?” Andy looks at Patricia with a pissed off look.
“Yes, I knew, and it had to happen. Your mother and several of your siblings are responsible for all sort of things in the future, including building Ghost. I had to let happen, happened.” Patricia just looked right back at him. He has never been able to stare her down.
“She right, Andy.” Tammie hated saying those words.
“What happened to her?” Andy looks back towards Patricia.
“The entire ship's library has been uploaded to her mind. Everything that was in there is in her head right now. Also, her mental reasoning and understanding will increase.” Patricia knew what she received.
A doctor shows up to take care of Janet. They didn’t know what to do for her. So, they were going to do what they could for her. Andy helps to get her back to the first transport plane they took.
While people were taking care of Janet, Patricia went about charging up the power cell on the ship. The orb that changed William and Arthur she shuts it down. Her gift informed her that it was malfunctioning. It was meant to only affect one person. It wasn't designed to expand the power outward to change anyone near it.
Patricia wakes up with a terrible headache the next day. She had to maintain control of the transport they flew back from Egypt. There were a few close calls on the way back. A few of the satellites in orbit almost picked them up. If it wasn’t for Ghost accessing them and clearing their memory. They might have been in trouble.
She grabs some aspirins from her med kit and swallow them. They were strong enough to affect her, but if any one else took them. They would be knocked out. Andy and Tammie were still upset at her for what happened to Janet.
What happened to her, had to happen. That much couldn’t be changed. Patricia moves around slowly as she heads towards the showers.
Once the shower was to the way she liked it. She stood under it and just let the water and heat massage her body. She so liked having water showers, instead of sonic showers.
“Ghost, has there been any change to history?” Patricia washes her hair as she waits for Ghost to respond back.
“Negative, Pat. There haven’t been any changes.” Ghost was deciphering and translating the language in the alien craft for Janet.
Pat knew she didn’t need Ghost to do that, but it would move things along. She stays in the shower for a while. Once she is done and dress. She heads towards the hangar they placed the alien craft in.
She was stopped several times before she was allowed to enter the hangar. Most of the guards already knew she could wipe the floor with them. They saw her practice with one of their best fighters and she took him down in no time.
Patricia walks into the hangar and looked at the alien ship. She already knew every inch of it. What cargo it still had was sitting off to the side with a team going over it.
Patricia notices that Ivy and her other older sister Sally were working with their mother. Sally was Janet’s fourth born daughter and exceptionally bright. She wasn’t as smart as her older sister, but she was still exceptionally smart. She had a knack for building or finding solutions, most people ignored.
“How’s it going, Sally?” Pat walks over towards her.
Sally turns around to look at Patricia. She had short dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She stood about 5’8” and got her brains from her mother, Janet. Her height was from Tammi’s side of the family.
“It’s going fine. You know, you could save all us the trouble of finding out about this ship and just give the information to us.” Sally looks at the woman they called Patricia.
“I can’t do that. You, your mom, Andy and Chris needs to learn this for yourself.” Pat would love too, but she didn’t want to change history.
“So, how long has this been underground?” Sally was walking around the outside of the spacecraft.
She could tell where they had done repairs to it. The repairs themselves weren’t too bad. They looked like they had taken parts off some of the container to fix the breeches the ship had.
“Let’s just say it has been buried for a very long time. Even the aliens we brought back are still in stasis pods.”
“I saw. Why are we keeping them here? Won’t someone from their home world come looking for them?” Sally was worried about an invasion.
“They aren’t going to worry about them. They more than likely have been written off. It’s been hundred of years since the ship has crashed landed here.” Pat looks at one docking hook-up.
“If its hundreds of years old. How is it going to give my mother an advantage?” Sally was confused on that part.
“The technology is really simple. You, your mother and brother can figure it out in no time. Especially your mother. She had the knowledge uploaded into her mind.” Pat couldn’t give Sally much more information.
Sally just goes back to what she was doing before Patricia interrupted her. She finds it a little hard that she was from the future. Still, so far everything she has said has come true.
Patricia walks up to the command bridge and looks around. Some changes will need to be done, before a human could use it. She notices several of Janet’s technicians translating the information to English.
“Here, let me help you guys.” Pat touches the console and merge with the on-board computer system.
She reaches out to Ghost and download his translation program. It reprograms everything to English. She even adds in a few self-repair commands to fix the ship.
“There, that should do it. Everything should translate to English and tell you if there are any problems.” Pat felt her head hurt her a little bit.
She ignores it. The pain should be gone in a little while.
The technician looks at Patricia with an angry look on her face “I was studying the Language, so I could understand how it develop.”
“All you have to do is check the computer now. You can get a history of the race.” Pat walks off the bridge and head towards the hangar where her fighter was stored.
“Ghost, can you join me or are you still working with Janet?” Patricia taps the control panel to let her in.
The guards don’t bother to stop her, since it was her fighter. She walks over to it and sit down on the seat. She hears the door open and Ghost comes flying in.
“Where are you off to Pat?” Ghost takes his place in the fighter as it seals itself up.
“I just need to be in the air for a while, Ghost.” Pat starts the fighter systems and contact the tower to get clearance.
The overhead hangar doors open for her as she slowly hovers off the floor. She activates her stealth systems and fly off. She needed this as she flies up to the exosphere and just orbits the Earth. Ghost systems pin points where all the debris is circling the planet.
“Pat, you know we could eliminate most of this debris with our lasers.” Ghost figures it would take three to four shots with the lasers. Set on wide beam dispersal to clear all the junk.
“I know, but I don’t want to alert any one to our presence.” Pat already knew she was taking a chance every time she took Ghost out.
Pat just orbits around the planet. When she comes close to some of the government satellites, she makes sure they couldn’t record her. As she is drifting around the planet “Pat, I’m picking up an unknown fighter coming into our system.”
Ghost brings the fighter up on the HUD system. It was currently near Saturn. Pat didn’t recognize the design of the fighter.
“Plot an intercept course.” Pat didn’t have her flight suit on.
“Course plotted and engaging engines.” Ghost breaks orbit and heads towards Saturn.
Patricia was racking her brain to try and identify which alien government used the type of fighter she was looking at. As far as she knew, this craft was unknown to her.
Patricia watches the fighter as they got closer to Saturn. So, far the alien fighter hadn’t picked her up yet. Ghost stealth was top of the line and not many alien races could penetrate his systems.
They approach carefully as they observed the alien craft. The way it was moving, looked like it was just doing standard recon.
“Ghost, are you picking up on any transmissions or scans emitting from the fighter?” Patricia was curious as she just watches.
“They are doing a low-level sensor scan of the area.” Ghost picked up on an active scan coming from the fighter.
“I wonder what they are looking for?” Patricia just watches from the safety inside the ring.
Patricia watches as the fighter continues searching. She wonders if there was a ship hiding in the system.
“Ghost, are your sensors picking up anything unusual in the system?”
Ghost does a passive scan of the area and finds nothing unusual. He is careful as he scans near the alien fighter.
“The area is clear, Pat. There’s nothing out here, but the two of us.”
“Alright, let’s sit here and observe. Also, do as many low-level scans of that fighter, so we can identify what race it belongs to.” Pat takes one of her packaged water pouches and suck the water out of it.
Aero Flight Industries:
Janet finally woke-up and noticed she was in her own bedroom. She saw the medical monitoring equipment next to her bed, monitoring her vitals. Her head still ache from whatever that light had done to her. It felt like her brain had been on fire as the light feed her information.
Janice comes walking into her mother’s bedroom to check on her. She notices her mother awake and looking around.
“You seem to be better, mom.” Janice had flown in from Fresno Surgical Hospital when her brother Andy called her to have her come to the mountain.
“What are you doing here, Janice?” Janet looks towards her oldest daughter.
“Andy called me and told me you had an accident. So, I took some time off to come home and take care of you.” Janice was surprised to learn what happened to her mother.
The medical staff here at the mountain had run all sorts of test and the only thing they could find was a high level of brain activity going on. According to what her brother told her, some person named Patricia said that all the information that was in the computer on the alien ship had been transmitted into her mother’s brain.
They haven’t been able to locate Patricia or her fighter for the past few hours. The guards that were stationed at the hangar her fighter was in, said she took off a few hours ago. She wanted to talk to her.
Janice checks her mother’s vitals and her eyes, which were weird now. They were all black.
“Mom, can you still see alright?” Janice was watching her mother’s eyes.
“I can see fine dear. Why do you ask?” Janet was curious why her daughter asked that question.
“Because your eyes are completely black, mom.” Janice walks over towards her dressing table and grabs one of her mother’s mirror.
Janet accepts the mirror from her daughter and looks at her eyes. They were completely black. You couldn’t see or make out her pupil at all.
She couldn’t believe how her eyes look. She puts the mirror down and looks at her daughter.
“Mom, how is your head feeling?” Janice was curious about her mother’s head.
“It still hurts some, but not as bad as it did. Did Tammi and your brother secure the alien ship?”
“Yep, it’s locked up in the R&D hangar. Also, I looked over Andy’s friend William and his other friend Arthur. Whatever the ray did to them.
Changed them into fully functional young women that are in their early twenties.” Janice was surprised that they had aged backwards and were fully functional as well.
“Did you do a full range of medical test on them?” Janet was curious about them.
“Yes mom. I and your medical team here has done a full medical test on them. They took samples and everything we would need to test.” Janice stops and look at her mother.
“How am I physically?” Janet was curious.
“Physically, your fine. I can’t find anything wrong with you. However, your brain activity is off the chart. I want to run a battery of test to see how fast you process information now.” Janice would love to perform test on her mother.
“I don’t think so, young lady. I’ll get Dr. Zake to perform the test.” Janet wasn’t going to allow her daughter to perform the test.
“Fine, spoil my fun, mom.” Janice pouts some as she finishes up her examination.
“Tammi wants to come in and talk with you. Are you up to some more company?”
“Yes, I’m up to more company. I would like to get back to work, but knowing you like I do. You’re not going to clear me, are you?” Janet looks at her oldest daughter.
“Nope, not till I get the results from the test mom. I know how you are.” Janice walks over to the bedroom door and opens it.
Tammi was waiting until she got permission to see her wife. She was startled when the bedroom door opened.
“You can see her now.” Janice walks out.
“Thank Janice.” As Tammi walks into the room.
Saturn’s Rings:
Patricia waits before she leaves the safety of the rings. The fighter she had been watching and recording finally left the system. She would pursue after it, but she didn’t have her flight suit.
“Ghost, plot a course back to earth.”
“Course plotted, Pat.” Ghost warms up the engines.
“Engage.” As Pat mentally flies the fighter back to earth.
Patricia’s Quarters, Aero Flight Industries:
Patricia looks down at the poor guy she brought back to her quarters last night, after she returned from space. She noticed that the facilities security had been increased. The guy she went to bed with, she wore out. She puts on a pair of shorts, sports bra and a t-shirt that said, “I’m the type of girl, your mother warned you about!”
She starts her run as she passes the security gate, and let’s them know she’ll be gone for a while. She needed last night after coming back to Earth. She had Ghost run his name and found out he gets married and have three children. The woman he marries looks like her in appearance.
As she continues to jog down the highway, she wonders how she is going to get back home. It’s not like they needed her for anything. Her squadron was the best of the best.
She jogs for another twenty miles and stops at a gas station to grab a bottle water. As she walks around inside the place, it brings back memories. The place didn’t change much in the future. The coolers had been changed out for newer ones, and the products on sale changed, but the outside remained the same.
As she walks back outside, she hears a horn honking at her. She looks in the direction and notices it was Ivy heading to work. She watches as Ivy pulls into the parking lot.
“Need a ride back to the mountain?” Ivy wonders if Pat was going to take up her offer.
“Sure.” Pat gets in her car.
Once Pat was in her car, Ivy starts heading towards her mother’s company. She watches as Pat takes another sip of her water.
“Pat, how close are we where you come from?” Ivy was curious.
“I would say we have a close friendship. You invited me to your wedding.” Pat takes another sip of her water.
“How do you know that your presence here won’t change anything?” Ivy was wondering if she’ll meet the man she was going to marry.
“I don’t know it hasn’t already made some changes, but as far as I know. Ghost’s memory banks haven’t been affected by anything yet. Plus, none of my memories have been changed. I just hope your mother can come up with a way to send me back to my time.” Not that Patricia wouldn’t mind sticking around here.
Ivy pulls her car around to its assign parking spot. Her other siblings were already at work.
“Thanks for the ride back.” Patricia gets out.
“You’re welcome, so what are you doing today?” As Ivy uses her pass card to enter the employees’ entrance.
Her and Patricia are stopped by the two guards on duty “Good morning ladies.”
Roger looks at Ivy and smiles. He’s been wanting to ask her out on a date for a while but didn’t know if he should. He continues to watch her as she checks in and waits for Patricia.
“Go ahead Ivy. I’ll catch up with you.” Patricia waits till Ivy was out of sight.
“Okay.” Ivy heads towards her mother’s office.
Once Ivy was out of site, Patricia looks at Roger “come mere for a second, Roger.”
Roger walks over to Patricia. He wonders what she wanted to talk to him about.
“What can I do for you Pat?” Roger watches her face.
“A little advice Roger, ask Ivy out. The two of you are meant to be together.” Patricia just smiles.
Roger just looks at Patricia and wonders if she knew something.
“What makes you so sure, she’ll go out with me?” Roger didn’t want to jeopardize his job.
“Trust me on this, Roger. The two of you are made for each other.” Patricia just smiles as she walks off. She catches up with Ivy.
Patricia stops by her quarters to shower and change. She knew Janet and several teams were already examining the alien craft. Ghost informed her that they managed to bring the floor plan on the spacecraft and were sending people to those areas.
She gets dress in a pair of jeans, a matching blouse and a pair of sneakers. She heads over towards the R&D hangar where the alien vessel was stored. The guards let her pass, without stopping her. When she gets to the hangar door, she concentrates with her ability and enter when the door opens.
The place was busy as Aero Flight science teams go over the ship. Some were working outside doing metallurgy testing on the hull of the ship.
They were wondering how an ancient group of people managed to patch up an alien ship.
The engineering team could see where parts from other items had been cannibalized to replace the original part. A few by-passes had been used as well to complete the circuit. They could see where pure gold or silver had been used to make a power conduit.
Patricia finds Ivy talking with her mother’s. Patricia couldn’t believe that Janet was up and working.
“Looks like you three are having fun.” Pat stops near them.
“We were just talking about how some of these systems could be adapted to some of our current vehicles.” Ivy figured they could duplicate the
technology easily.
“How about the power plant? Do you think you could duplicate that?” Patricia already knew the answer to that question, but she wanted to see if Janet could do it.
“It might take a while, but yes I could duplicate the power plant. If nothing else I could even enlarge it.” Janet was already thinking about the possibilities.
“Well, if you need any ideas or help. Ghost’s power plant and anti-gravity systems is based from this technology.” Patricia knew what she told them, wasn’t that important.
“You really can’t help, but to keep revealing things about us or your craft.” Tammi looks at Patricia like a mother looking at a naughty child.
“Okay, okay, I’ll stop giving you information. It’s not like you’re not going to figure out what I am telling you.” Patricia turns around and leaves the alien vessel.
She really needed to find something to keep herself busy and out of trouble. As much as she likes flying, she needs to be careful of exposing her fighter. She heads towards the mountain cafeteria to grab a bite to eat.
The mountain had everything that Aero Flight needed for their people. She heads up towards the top of the mountain. Once she arrives, she looks out and around the landscape. A smile appears on her face as she remembers running off the plateau her first time with a hang glider.
She flew and enjoyed herself but got in trouble with Tammi for not getting permission first for pulling the stunt.
She just stands there and look out towards the runways and hangars Aero Flight owned. This was smaller compared to what it looked like from her time. Se turns around and heads back down towards the hangar that Ghost was stored in.
Patricia increases the speed on Vector 2 and goes orbital with the fighter craft. The modifications the engineers made to it were what she remembered. She hits the upper atmosphere and turns the fighter back down towards Aero Flight. She feels a slight vibration as she extends her ability to the craft. It wasn’t as advanced as Ghost, but it did the job. Vector 1 was undergoing the new upgrades, just like Vector 2 had.
They did Vector 2 first after Patricia gave her recommendations. Vector 1 was having its engine redone and flights systems overhauled. Vector Three and Four were undergoing refits like Vector 1.
Aero Flight drone technology was already far more advanced then the governments. They already had basic artificial intelligence technology built into them. However, all the drones were being redone with new technology.
The special project division of Aero Flight was already working on adapting the technology from the alien craft to some of the more normal vehicles at AFI. They were building two new shuttles with some of the technology the alien craft had. That way the scientist that Janet was recruiting could use it to go into space.
The personal weapons R&D were going over the lasers, particle rifles and blasters they found. Patricia warned them that personal energy weapons weren’t allowed at a lot of alien space stations. Neither were slug throws. Some stations allowed edge weapons to be carried, but most had rules that you couldn’t carry weapons on their station.
The R&D was also working on new space suits and environment systems. The medical division of Aero Flight was going over all the medical technology and medicines the craft had available. Some of it, they knew they couldn’t use right away. The reason for it, was the alien chemicals and such that were needed. They would have to go to the suppliers that were listed to purchase what they needed. They checked with Patricia to see if she knew about the suppliers.
She had to check with Ghost, since she wasn’t in the medical field. She had him relay the information back to the people who asked.
“AFI flight tower to Vector 2. AFI flight tower to Vector 2, what are you doing over Russia right now?” Jackie was watching the satellite tracking they had with Vector 2.
“Seeing who is watching and looking for someone to play with.” Patricia had a playful smile on her face.
“You’re not authorized to engage anyone Vector 2. Bring the craft back home.” Jackie didn’t need for them to get chewed out by the
government for causing an international incident.
“God, you take all the fun out of flying.” Patricia mentally programs the flight course back to Aero Flight main headquarters.
Patricia comes within radar range of AFI flight tower “Vector 2 requesting permission to land.”
“Vector 2, come in on runway 5 and proceed to maintenance hangar 5.” Jackie has been informed by Sam that she wanted Vector 2 at that
hangar.
“Roger, flight tower. Heading over towards runway 5.” Patricia brings Vector 2 in and rolls him over towards Hangar 5.
Normally, Sam didn’t use that hangar. She normally used hangar 4 or hangar 1. She spotted Sam and her flight crew waiting for her. Once the fighter comes to a stop, a ladder is brought over for Patricia to climb down out of the cockpit.
“Hey Sam, why are you working over here, instead of Hangar 4?” As Patricia removes her flight helmet.
“Vector 1, 3 and 4 are being overhauled over there. You can put Vector 2 in hangar 5. So, how did she do?” Sam walks over to the fighter.
“She had a slight vibration coming back down from orbit, but she made the climb up without any problems. The new engines did fine in the thin
atmosphere.” Patricia knew the engines would because they were the predecessors to Ghost current engines.
His engines were the third incarnation of the JXL 11 engines. The more evolved form of the JXL 8’s. Samantha and her team created them.
“I’ll check the recorders and see what caused it. It might have been your flying.” Sam knew that Pat could fly with her own skills or with her ability.
“Okay, well I’m off. I have a meeting with your mother and some of the scientist she invited to the compound.” Patricia heads off towards the main conference room.
She is stopped by the guards of the place and searched. Everyone who enters was searched before and after. Security around the main compound had been increasing. That included all communications as well. Jammers had been set-up in certain rooms and there were guards in the main corridor and near the conference room.
Patricia enters the conference room and for the next four hours she ends up explaining everything the scientist had questions about. If she couldn’t answer them, she let Ghost explain it or gave them a demonstration of how something worked. She was lucky that she had patience’s to deal with them.
By the time Patricia left the conference, she was exhausted. Some of the scientists were still in the conference room talking about what they learned, and the evidence put forth before them. As Patricia was walking away from the conference room.
“Ms. MacQuien can I speak with you please?” Mr. Perelman had rushed out of the conference room to catch Pat.
Pat stops and turns around to face Mr. Perelman “what can I do for you, Mr. Perelman?”
“I would like to know, why you feel it is necessary to keep the existence of the alien craft so secret?” Mr. Perelman wanted to know more and knew his superiors would also.
“Because there are things about that craft the world and some governments aren’t readily prepared for.” Patricia knew that there was technology on the alien ship that could change things.
“What do you mean, Ms. MacQuien?” Alexander Perelman was confused.
“I mean, till all the governments stop trying to kill each other. They shouldn’t have access to technology or knowledge that would cause the destruction of the world. The path Mrs. Blake is on is the best path.”
“What makes you so sure, she’s on the right path?” Mr. Perelman was curious.
“Because I’m the one who will have to fix the problem.” Patricia turns around and walks off.
She doesn’t want to think about the people she had to kill or places she had to destroy. All because the leaders of certain countries couldn’t stop trying to grab power and posses things they had no right to.
Too many times she had to go and erase the information from a system or remove a person. Patricia heads down to the cafeteria to grab a bite to eat. She walks over to a table that didn’t have anyone sitting at it and sat down.
A few minutes after she sat down, Roger comes over to her. He sits down across from her.
“How did you know Ivy would say yes, if I asked her out?” Roger was curious because he took Pat’s advice and asked Ivy out.
“I can’t tell you that, Roger. All I can say is the two of you were meant for each other.” Pat takes a bite out of the sub she got.” She hopes Roger doesn’t ask her where he should take her.
“Well, thanks for the advice. You wouldn’t….”
“Don’t ask me that question, Roger. That is for you to discover yourself. So, if don’t mind now. I would like to eat my lunch in peace.” Patricia
just wanted to be by herself right now.
Roger gets up and leaves. He has heard rumors on how fast and deadly she was. Some security guards had watched her down in the gym.
Spar with some of their most experienced fighters and wiped the floor with them.
Once Patricia was done with her lunch. She heads back to her quarters and changes her outfit. She’s been wearing her flight suit since she got
back from her flight. Since the compound has an indoor swimming pool, designed to train their astronauts and pilots. She was going to go and have a swim.
Andy’s House:
Andy looks at his friend as she walks around his place in just a men’s shirt and a pair of panties his sister bought for her. He couldn’t believe how nice of a figure his friend now had, after being changed into a woman. All the test his sister did to William had confirmed that everything about him had been changed.
Even his DNA had been changed. They had his old DNA on file. They compared his new DNA with his old one and noticed it had changed. There weren’t any European traits or anything in his DNA. Instead, his current DNA was the same as an ancient Egyptians.
Andy’s sister had run the test several times and it came back with the same results. Williams DNA was identical to ancient Egyptians. He had taken his friend to his house, so she could relax. His mother’s mountain complex was just to busy of a place and not the type of place his friend could learn about herself.
“So, how are you adjusting to your new body?” Andy walks into the kitchen to brew some coffee for himself and William
“It’s strange. I know I use to be a male, but it’s like I have always been a girl.” There was a little flirt in her voice.
“Well, I have some cousins that can help you adjust to being a girl. My cousin Sasha Wolfhart use to be a boy physically before she changed her gender. As you know, one of my sisters use to be a male when she was younger.” He hands William her coffee cup.
“I know and your sisters have offered to help me adjust as well.” William looks at Andy as she spoke.
She was thinking about her friend and all the good times they use to have. It wasn’t like she didn’t know Andy or his family. She wanted to see how he felt about her.
“So, what do you think of my change?” William looks towards Andy.
Andy was caught off guard from that question. He didn’t really know how he felt. He looks at her “to be honest, I don’t really know how I feel. I think the alien device did a marvelous job on giving you a knockout body. If you want too, we could see how things develop and go from there.”
William thinks about it “would you be against me staying here with you?”
Andy just smirks “you can stay here with me. It will be just like old times when we were in college or maybe better. Why don’t you try some of the clothes my sister dropped off for you on and we’ll go from there?”
“Okay.” As William leans in and kisses Andy on the cheek.
She turns around and walks back to Andy’s bedroom with a little sass in her step. She turns around and gives him a sly look, before heading into the bedroom.
“I wonder if that device affected her brain chemistry?” As he drinks his coffee.
Aero Flight Industries:
Samantha was looking for Patricia. She had to fly out to their Research and Department branch in Coconino County, Arizona. She figured Patricia would like to fly her out there.
She finds Patricia down in the gym working out. As she walks closer to the weight lifting bench. She notices Patricia was bench pressing 320 lbs. She had one of the security guards that were off duty spotting her. She knew he recently won the gold international title for weightlifting.
“Dam! You can lift that much weight?” As she looks at Patricia.
“400lbs. is the most I can bench press. Dead weight, I can lift 500lbs.” Patricia sits up and wipes her face.
She turns and looks at David “thanks for spotting me.”
“Any time. Let me know if you decide to come back and lift weights again.” David smiled at her before walking off.
“God, what is it with you. You can have special abilities and now I find that you can lift most normal women can’t lift unless they are into weight lifting.” Samantha was learning more and more about Patricia.
“Samantha, yes I have a slight advantage over most women and men. However, I built up to being able to lift what I can. It has taken me years to be able to lift that much weight. My advantages are in my reflexes, endurance and being able to communicate with technology. I age slowly as well. So, when you are in your forties, I’ll still be in my twenties.” Patricia wipes her forehead and face.
“That is so, unfair.” Samantha wonders how Patricia became like she was.
“So, what did you want?” Patricia knew Sammy only came to her when she needed something.
“Do you feel up to flying me out to our other research facilities? We have a prototype stealth helicopter were working on.” Samantha still couldn’t believe that Boeing let them buy the whole project.
“You mean Project Night Bird?” Patricia remembered flying it.
“You know about it?” Samantha was surprised about that.
“Yeah, I do. It evolved into project Sky Knight.” Patricia remembered the helicopter.
She trained on it and other aircrafts Aero Flight Industries had. She even trained on aircraft that didn’t depend on computers to get used to flying without her gift.
“Well, since you know how to fly it then, why don’t you fly me out there?” Samantha figures the trip should let Pat get out and do what she enjoys the most.
“Alright, let me go by my quarters and freshen up some.”
“Alright, meet me out on helipad 6. I’ll be there with our ride.” Samantha walks off and heads to the hangar to grab a company helicopter.
“Will do.” Patricia heads back to her quarters and freshens up.
After freshening up and changing. She heads towards helipad 6 where she finds Samantha waiting for her. She already has the helicopter they were taking powering up. Pat sends a mental message to let Ghost know where she was, just in case an emergency arises.
“I thought you were going to let me fly?” As Patricia gets into the helicopter.
“I am. I was just warming things up for you. Do you think you can just fly a normal helicopter?” She looks towards Patricia.
“I think I can do that.” Patricia gets them into the air and flies towards the Aero Flight Industries in Arizona.
While they are flying, Samantha looks at Patricia “do you have a boyfriend back home?”
“Nope, I spend to much time out in space protecting the carrier I am stationed on. The only reason I was on Earth was for upgrades to Ghost.” Patricia, also wanted to come back to Earth for a while.
“Why didn’t we go out to you?” Samantha was wondering about that.
“Your mom hates space travel and you have a family to take care of.” Patricia just realized what she just said.
“I have a family of my own?” Samantha looks at Pat.
“Yep, you do, and you don’t like being away from them. So, you try to stay on Earth as much as possible.” Patricia didn’t see any harm telling Sam this info.
“How many children will I have?” Samantha wanted to know.
“Five, you’ll give birth to a set of twins and you’ll adopt several children with your partner. Before you ask, your husband will be a Navy pilot.” Patricia wasn’t going to tell her anything more.
Patricia concentrates on flying the helicopter to Arizona. She was enjoying the simplicity of the controls. It was allowing her to keep her talent of flying without her ability up to date.
They fly for a while and finally land at the other facilities. Patricia makes sure everything powers down as she gets out with Samantha. A team
of engineers comes up to greet Samantha and inform her what the problem is with the new helicopter.
Samantha looks at the steering rod and noticed it was warpped. How could a piece of metal deform like she was seeing?
“How did this happen?” As Sam looks towards the engineers nearby.
“We don’t know, ma’am.” One of the engineers that had been placed on the project spoke up.
“Maybe the pilot did it?” Another engineering person with black hair looked over towards Samantha.
“A pilot can’t warp something like that. I should know because I can fly that helicopter.” Patricia knew for a fact a pilot couldn’t do that.
Someone heated and warpped that control rod Sam was holding. She didn’t know who, because she wasn’t around when Night Bird had been built.
“Go get me a new one from storage and I want a system check done as well. Also, pull the flight recorder.” Sam wanted to see how the helicopter has been handling.
Patricia figures while Sam was working on the helicopter, she would explore the city. Before she leaves, she goes and finds Sam.
“Hey Sam, I’m going to explore the city some.”
“Okay, if I need you. I’ll call you.” Sam knew the work she was doing to the Night Bird was going to take her a while.
“Okay.” As Patricia borrows one of the company cars and head into town.
Patricia drives into Flagstaff and looks around. She was looking for an authentic Irish Pub. She misses going to her favorite one in Ireland.
Sure, she could fly there while Samantha was working on the helicopter, but it would take her to long to come back to pick Samantha up when she needs her.
Patricia finally locates an authentic pub called The Stag's Head. She parks the company car in the back parking lot and head inside the place. She stops just a few feet into the pub and couldn’t believe how authentic it looked and smell. It looked like someone had transplanted the pub from the countryside of Ireland.
Patricia walks over to the counter and takes a seat on one of the bar stools. The bartender comes walking over to Patricia.
“What can I get for you, ma’am?”
“Let me get a double shot of Poitín.” Patricia knew the real stuff was too strong for bars and pubs to sell, but the one Bunratty Irish Potcheen
made was pretty good.
Dermot grabs a bottle of Poitin for the young lady and pours her a glass of it. He hasn’t seen her around here before. What strikes him as unusual about her, was her looks. She looked like she came from Ireland. The red hair and accent in her speech.
“So, are new in town Ms.?”
“MacQuien, Ms. MacQuien.” Patricia smiles at him as he sets her glass down in front of her.
“Are you from Ireland?”
“Nope, I was born right here in United States in Georgia. I’m visiting a friend out here.” Patricia picks her to drink up and take a sip.
It was weaker than the true stuff she buys when she is in Ireland, but it was okay. The authentic stuff had the nickname of Ireland moonshine and was extremely strong. It was so strong, that Ireland didn’t allow the sale of it.
She downs her first glass and orders another one. She also orders up a bowl of Irish stew. She has had a craving for truly authentic Irish food since she came back from the Essex. While she waits for the stew, she has a third glass of the Poitín.
“You might want to slow down on those drinks.” Dermot has seen people get stone cold drunk and pass out from drinking the drink.
A mischievous smile appears on Patricia's face “it will take a drink stronger than this to affect me.”
“Is that so?” Greg was walking by when he heard the woman brag.
“Yep, it is.” Patricia looks at the gentleman.
“How about we see how good you are at darts?”
Patricia looks towards Dermot “how much longer will my stew be?”
“Go ahead and play your dart game. I’ll hold your meal.” Dermot wanted to see this.
“Okay.” Patricia gets off her stool and follows the gentleman over towards the dart board.
“Let’s flip to see who goes first.”
“Alright, I call heads.”
Greg throws the coin up in the air and catches it. He peeks at it “tails.” As he shows Patricia.
She just shrugs her shoulders. She looks over towards Dermot “let me get a bottle of Irish whiskey from you, please.”
Dermot hands her a bottle.
“Thanks.” As she turns back towards Greg.
“Every time one of us, miss the bullseye. We take a shot of whiskey.” She puts the bottle where they could see it and takes a shot.
“Deal!” As Greg steps to the throwing line.
He tosses his darts one at a time. On his first try, he gets one bullseye and misses with the other two.
Patricia hands Greg the bottle “take two shots.”
Greg takes the bottle and takes two good shots from it. He hands the bottle back to Patricia. She places it back where she had it.
“My turn.” She tosses her darts and hits with two darts and misses with one.
She grabs the bottle and takes one gulp from it. She places the bottle back.
“Your turn.”
Greg throws his darts and misses with all three. He takes three good shots from the bottle. He hands the bottle back to Patricia.
She steps up and tosses her darts. All three darts hit the bullseye. She retrieves her darts.
“I guess I don’t get a drink.” A smile appears on her face.
The next couple of throws, Greg ends up drinking most of the whiskey. Patricia ends up getting a second bottle. She kills the first bottle and ends up taking a few shots from the second bottle. She was feeling a slight buzz, but nothing that was impairing her abilities. By the time the whiskey bottle was half empty. Greg passes out.
“I win!” Patricia walks back over to the counter and sits down.
“Here’s your stew.” As Dermot hands Patricia her stew.
“Thanks.”
Patricia picks her spoon up and starts eating the stew. She pours herself some of the whiskey that is left in the bottle. Someone puts some money in the jukebox and a few songs from Celtic women start playing. She finishes her stew and the rest of the bottle.
“Dermot, that was some good stew. Give my compliments to the chef.”
“I will. Do you want to settle up?” Dermot has been keeping track of her purchases.
“Yep.” Patricia pulls her credit card out and pays for the purchases.
Afterward, she leaves the place and heads back to the airfield.
Andy wakes-up with a terrible headache. He tries to remember what happened last night. He looks around and notices he was naked and in his bed. He also felt a person snuggled up against him. He looks and notices that his friend William, or should he say Billy was snuggled against his left side.
He looks at her beautiful face as she slept. He couldn’t believe how different she looked now. Her light African skin and long smooth black hair. He felt her full breasts pressing against the side of his body. He caresses her back and felt her snuggle closer to his body.
He wonders if she was going to regret their lovemaking last night. He couldn’t believe how many times she had her orgasms or how many times he filled her up. They hadn’t taken any precautions to prevent her from getting pregnant.
He tries to get out of bed to head to the bathroom, but as soon as he moves. He wakes Billy up
“Good morning, beautiful.” As Andy looks down into Billy’s blue eyes.
His sister and mother had been surprised when they saw that Billy had blue eyes. This was the first time that he and they have seen a light skin Afro-American with blue eyes. They had wonder if it was because of her ancient Egyptian DNA? Since the ancient Egyptians were related more to people from Africa.
“Morning.” As Billy moves up and kisses Andy.
She slides her body onto his. She straddles his waist. She stops kissing him and sits up. A playful smile appears on her face as she lifts off his
waist. She could tell he was ready and hard.
“I want to finish what we started last night.” as she lowers herself down onto his shaft.
Andy grips her hips and helps her as she bounces up and down on his shaft. He kisses her when he feels her lips on his. He couldn’t believe he was having sex with his best friend.
Aero Flight Industries:
Patricia slowly wakes-up and stretches. She had so much fun last night with a guy name Antonio Weller. She had gone back out after flying Sam back to the mountain complex. She was feeling horny and wanted to get laid.
She met Antonio at a bar called Lilac Outlaw Emporium. It was a Western-style bar, where she met him. He was really built and stood at least 6ft. tall. He had been shooting pool when she saw him. He had been wearing a tan cowboy hat, a gray dress shirt that was tucked into a pair of faded blue jeans that showed off his muscular legs.
She played pool against him after he beat the guy, she saw him playing. She challenged him to a game and let him win a few games. After she lost a few games to him, she raised the stakes and beat him a few times. The last game came down to her going home with him or him coming home with her. She beat him and they came to the hotel she mentally made a reservation with a really nice hotel.
By the time they arrived at the hotel and checked in. They were kissing and trying to tear each other’s clothes off. They made love in the early hours of the morning. She glances over where Antonio had slept and saw the hotel stationery with his name and phone number written on it. A smile appears on Patricia’s face as she gets up and heads into the bathroom to do her morning business and to soak. Antonio was rather large and stretched her opening and filled her up. She felt him hitting against her cervix. It was painful and enjoyable at the same time. She didn’t bother with birth control, it would take an extremely gifted man to impregnate her. All the medical test that had been done on her, had concluded that it would take an extraordinary male to get her pregnant. Their sperm would have to be very special in order to fertilize her eggs.
She soaks for a while, till the water gets cold. She gets out and gets dressed in the clothes she wore last night. As Patricia turns her hotel card in. She spots someone she recognizes from the meeting at Aero Flight.
She knew right away who was and she warned him not to do this. She walks over to where she saw and extended her abilities to search for any electronic devices he had. She proceeds to erase the information from all of them and then have Ghost search for any cloud accounts Mr.
Perelman has and erase them, including the account itself.
As for Mr. Perelman, she had a special punishment planned for him. She hacks the DoD computer systems and steal some important plans, that she knew the United States aren’t going to use, but still value and place them in an account belonging to Mr. Perelman. She places some information and such on the electronic devices that had held information he stole from Janet to sell. She makes sure the frame job is perfect, before alerting the proper authorities.
A smile appears on her face as she hears sirens coming towards the hotel. She watches as police cars pull into the parking lot, as she pulls out and heads back towards Aero Flight.
This was far better than killing him, which is what she had to do where she came from. On the way back to Aero flight Industries, Patricia stops at a Circle K and grab a coffee and a sausage and egg croissant. She fills the gas tank up and heads towards the mountain complex afterward. She spots Ivy’s car and park next to it. She wonders how the date went with Roger last night.
Patricia heads into the complex and is stopped by the security guards. She knows it is proper procedures.
“Come on guys. You know me already.” Pat looks towards Roger and his partner.
“Yes, we do Patricia. However, we had a security breach yesterday. So, everyone is being thoroughly searched as they enter.”
“Let me guess, some information was downloaded without proper authorization?”
“Yes, how did you know?” Roger looks at Patricia with a curious look on his face.
“Because it was Mr. Perelman. He took information from here that he shouldn’t have. I have already handled the problem.”
“How did you know? We never let out who we suspected.”
“Roger, have you forgotten already where or should I say when I am from?” Patricia just smiles as she walks away heading for her quarters.
She enters and changes her clothes. She was still feeling a little sore from her all-night marathon lovemaking. She pulls Antonio’s phone number out of her pants pocket and wonders if she should call him?
Just as Patricia walks out of her quarters to go and check on the scientist examining the alien spacecraft, she runs into Ghost.
“We need to head to the North Pole. The satellites in this century are picking up a weird disturbance there.” Ghost was hovering near Patricia.
“Alright, inform Janet and let her know where we are heading, while I put my flight suit on.” Patricia heads back into her quarters to change into her flight suit.
She felt Ghost as he sent a message to Janet and Tammi. She was so connected to him, sometimes she becomes accustomed to what he does. Once she has her flight suit on, she heads towards the hangar where the fighter was stored. Ghost comes in just as she Patricia was getting ready to close the cockpit.
She gets the clearance from the air traffic tower to launch. She sends the signal for the hangar doors to open and slowly start lifting off the ground.
“Activating, stealth systems.” Ghost disappears as he hovers just above the hangar.
“Plot the fastest course to the disturbances.” Patricia wonders if the Janet of her time frame has managed to recreate the disturbance that sent her to this time frame.
It doesn’t take Ghost long to arrive at coordinates. Just as she arrives, a ship of unknown origins was coming through the breach she had come through. She didn’t recognize the design of the starship coming through.
“Ghost, is that design in your database?”
“Negative, there is no starship in my database that has that design.” Ghost was taking sensor scans of the alien vessel.
Patricia extends her ability out towards the vessel. She could feel it, but she was having a hard time accessing its computer system. Just as she was trying to dig deeper into its systems. Ghost rocks from an energy beam hitting him.
“What the hell was that?” As another energy beam hits Ghost deflector shields.
“We’re being fired at. Our shields are already down by ten percent.” Ghost was transferring power to reinforce his shields.
“How did they manage to lock onto you?” Patricia brings Ghost weapon systems online.
“Don’t know.” As Ghost dodges out of the way of other energy beams.
Ghost dodges several more that had been fired at him. He swoops behind the disturbance and uses the energy it was giving off, to prepare for an attack.
“Ghost, does it have a deflector field protect it?”
“Yes.”
“Alright.” Patricia switches to her heavy energy weapons.
She starts fireing at the other ship. Her first shots hit their shields and only drop them by ten percent. She follows through with four more shots as the alien craft tries to avoid her.
“Ghost, fire the Phoenix missiles.” As Patricia keeps firing the energy weapons.
The ghost craft rock as the Phoenix missiles launch from underneath her. They hit the alien vessel’s shields as a reddish blueish energy cascades over the alien vessel. The energy causes the alien vessel shields to drop.
Patricia fires the heavy ion cannons and watches as the energy cascade over the vessel. She keeps track of the alien vessel as it crashes lands. The ship fell into an escort class.
Ghost flies over the vessel and flip upside now. Patricia releases her harness and drops down onto the top of the vessel. She sends her ability into the ships computer systems. She could feel the back-up systems still on. She reactivities some of the systems to get an inside look at who was inside the vessel. The images she was getting back, was a black skin humanoid. There were at least six crew members inside the vessel.
Patricia finds an access hatch and enters. She is met by two crew members.
“Sorry fellows, but your energy weapons won’t work against me.” She had mentally disabled them.
The figures pull their swords and attack Patricia. Patricia has seen the swords before and knew they could cut through most material, like a hot
knife through butter. The nano-edge blades could only be stopped by energy blades.
She manages to take them down easily. She steals their swords and sheaths. As she head’s deeper into the ship. Several of the crew try barricading themselves on the bridge, but Patricia manages to open the door.
She spots the Captain of the vessel “why did you come to this time frame and attack me?”
Tachass looks at the human that stopped his plans. She wasn’t meant to be here. He was sent to stop the humans responsible for mankind going to the stars.
“Because you are responsible for the death of my culture.” Tachass had his sword out.
“What do you mean, I’m responsible for the death of your culture.”
“You and your kind invaded our space and are trying to take it from us. We have been fighting to stop you.” Tachass looks at the she-devil his
people feared. She has killed more of his people than anyone else.
“I haven’t gone against your people and I have no idea who you are, even.” Patricia was puzzled about this person.
“Believe me, you have gone against us. I can show you.” As he nods towards one of his people.
A young woman touches a console near her, and a hologram of a battle shows. The woman enlarges it, so it fills the bridge.
“There, you are taking our Carrier down, along with five others from your squadron.” Tachass points out Ghost as he led the attack against the carrier.
“When did this attack take place?” Patricia knows for a fact she hasn’t gone against these people.
“Forty years from now.” Tachass had to convert his people's years to human years.
“So, forty years from now, I lead an attack against your people. What was the reason for the attack between our people?” There had to be
some reason she was sent again them.
“Your people wanted our space and our resources. We said no and your people tried stealing what you wanted and assassinated our leader.”
Tachass remembered the night everything happened.
“Look, you can’t kill someone who hasn’t done your people any harm and you can’t kill the person who helps us go into space. Coming back here, you have probably changed what happened already.” Patricia figures their future would have changed engaging her.
She taps their computer banks and searches their history about what happened. It plays out and she was right. Their history had changed from meeting her.
“Look, your history has changed. According to your computer’s, your history has been rewritten.” Patricia had looked at what type of engine they had and how it worked. She downloaded the information to Ghost.
He goes to double check what Patricia said. He notices that the fight and everything else about the war with her people were gone.
“Go home and don’t return back to this time ever again.” As Patricia returns control of the ship to them. The crash landing hadn’t done to much damage to their vessel.
Once Patricia was back aboard Ghost. She sticks around to monitor the vessel until it leaves. Once the vessel goes back through the tear it created. She flies back to Aero Flight to inform Janet about what happened. Any satellites that had been overhead, she made sure the information is removed from their systems.
Antonio walks up behind Patricia as she stood at the counter in his kitchen. There was a glow about her as she stood in a shirt that belonged to him and wearing no panties. He wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her neck.
“You look so beautiful, this morning.” As he kisses her.
Patricia could feel Antonio’s hardon as her butt pressed against it. She was still extremely sore from having sex with him last night. Her mind was still cloudy after all the orgasms she had. Patricia knew Antonio knew how to turn her on and make her beg for more.
She returns the kisses “mmm, thank you.”
Patricia fixes coffee for the two of them as he held her in his arms. She loved feeling his arms around her body. Ghost and Janet were going over the engineering specs she took from the time traveling aliens from yesterday. They were seeing how they could adapt Ghost’s engines to send them home. She wasn’t in a big hurry to go back home, after meeting Antonio.
She was enjoying the sex she was having with him and she was slowly falling in love with him. She had Ghost do a background on him. According to what Ghost found out about him, he was a sheriff and was retired from the Army.
After they have their coffee and some breakfast. Patricia takes a shower with Antonio joining her in the shower. They make out while in the shower, before she left. She drives back to Aero Flight, while Antonio headed to work. She was going to see him again later in the evening.
“Morning, Patricia.” Roger watches as Patricia comes through security.
He notices she has a glow about her, just like Ivy has since she been dating him. His relationship with Ivy was becoming stronger each day. What he was worried about was meeting with her mother’s outside of business.
They never came through his entrance, because they had their own private entrance. He knew Ivy used it sometimes, but most of the time, she used his. They had fun just going to the movies last night.
“Morning, Roger. How is your relationship going so far with Ivy?” Patricia stops to talk with Roger.
“It’s going fine. You seem to be glowing this morning. Who is your mysterious gentleman?” Roger had a teasing smile on his face.
“A sheriff.” Patricia doesn’t stop and heads up to Janet’s work lab to see how she and Ghost are doing.
She doesn’t bother with typing in her access code on the key panel. She uses a touch of her ability to let herself in.
Janet looks at Patricia as she comes walking in. Her eyes were black like something out of an anime cartoon. How the characters eyes go back when they open wide or they are posse by demons.
“I will never get uses, to seeing you with black eyes.” Patricia knew her eyes are like that where she came from.
“You grew up with me looking this. So, it shouldn’t be something new for you.” As Janet taps a few keys on her keyboard.
“True, I grew up with your eyes like that. Doesn’t mean I haven’t always been unnerved by your eyes.”
Patricia looks at the diagram of Ghost’s engine schematic. It was in a hologram and it looked like some additional components have been added to it. Which mean they had to totally redesign the engine.
“I take it, these extra components are the pieces I will need to go back to my own time?” Patricia just stared at the diagram.
“Yes, but there is a problem. According to the information you got. These components need to be made of a special element that isn’t found
here on Earth but is present in our asteroid belt.” The hologram changes as it reshapes itself into showing the asteroid belt. The one asteroid she needed to go to flashes red. The path she needed to take was going to be tricky, but she could manage it.
“According to Ghost’s records. You should be able to burn a tunnel down to it, using his lasers set on his lowest setting.” Janet shows a hologram of Ghost burning a tunnel down to where the element they needed was.
Patricia watches the demonstration. Getting to the asteroid belt, won’t take her long, but getting in and lasering a tunnel down to the elements was going to take her about fifteen to twenty minutes with her lasers set on low. She needed to be careful because once the tunnel was made.
She would have to exit her fighter and slide down into the tunnel and remove the element by hand.
“Well, I better get suited up then.” Patricia turns around to leave.
“Be careful, Patricia. That asteroid isn’t really stable.” Janet had reviewed Ghosts records about the asteroid. According to Ghost records, it
had an unusual orbit inside the asteroid belt.
“I’ll be careful. This won’t be the first time I’ve had to do something like this.” Patricia turns and heads down to her quarters to change into her flight suit.
While she is changing clothes. Patricia cleans between her legs the cum that Antonio had left in her that leaked out. She winces when she wipes herself. She was still a little raw and sore. Which, for her was a weird thing. She normally recovered fast because of her unique physiology. Once she is fully dressed and heading towards her fighter. She makes sure Ghost is there and starts up the pre-launch startup.
She already had two missiles she needed to replace.
“Engaging cloak system and opening hangar doors.” As the lower half of the cockpit raises up into place as Ghost lifts into the air.
Once Ghost was hovering over the hangar. He makes sure the hangar doors are closed, as he angles and shoots straight up and into space.
“Ghost plot us a course.” Patricia lowers her visor as they leave Earth’s atmosphere and pass the International Space Station.
She watches as Earth become smaller and smaller as they head towards the asteroid belt. Pat takes controls as they fly into the asteroid belt. She mentally activates the shields to protect Ghost from micrometeorites. The last thing she needed is for a few of them to punch through Ghost armor body and into her.
Patricia enters where Ghost had felt was the best route to take towards the asteroid. She loved going through the asteroids. She uses to play chicken with a few cadets when she was first learning to fly. Ghost zooms through the asteroid field like they were standing through.
“Approaching target.” The asteroid Ghost was talking about, appears on the HUD display.
“Power laser to their lowest setting and prepare to fire.” Pat knew watches as the distance become closer.
Ghost activates the lasers and starts burning his way through the asteroid body. Pat was watching his progress on the HUD display. She makes some adjustments and widens the beam, so it burned away most of the material holding the element inside the asteroid body.
After twenty minutes, Ghost reached his depth. Pat grabs her laser torch and moves the Ghost craft closer to the asteroid.
“Alright Ghost, you’re in control.” As Patricia exists through the top hatch and launches herself towards the hole.
Patricia turns the lights on her helmet on as she enters the tunnel Ghost made. She pulls herself deeper and deeper into the tunnel, till she comes to the element they came for. It takes her a while to slowly cut the element out. She was being careful not to nick it.
“Ghost, you know it is really dark in here.” Even though Patricia had the lights built into her helmet and suit on.
It was still dark and claustrophobia down in the tunnel. She wasn’t afraid of anything, but a normal person might find this tunnel confining. Patricia finally chips the element they needed and put it in her specimen bag.
“Alright Ghost, I’m coming back.” As Patrick backs out of the tunnel.
She floats near the entrance of the tunnel and looks around her. She loved how space looked. She floats back to Ghost and climbs back aboard. Once the cockpit was filled with oxygen. Patricia removes her helmet.
Pat opens the specimen bag that was attached to her belt and looks at the elements she came up to get. It was a metallic purple color and was pulsing with energy.
“I hope you were all this trouble.” Pat closes the bag and places it in a secure box she was able to tuck into the cockpit.
“Alright Ghost, let’s head home.” As Patricia leans back into her seat.
“YAY, WHO!” Patricia was out four wheelings with Antonio and some friends of his.
Janet and her engineering crew said it was going to take a while to construct the additional components the Ghost fighter was going to need.
Since she really didn’t have anything to do around the mountain complex. She took Antonio up on his invite to join him and a few friends on four-wheeling with some friends and their spouses. She made sure to hide the fact that she worked out in space and came from a different timeline.
Ghost himself was working with Janet since his computing power was faster than the current computers they were using. Janet’s IT department was upgrading the computers and servers in the mountain complex with newer ones that Janet came up with. It based partially on
Ghost processing ability and the computing ability from the alien ship. Janet wasn’t going full artificial intelligence like Ghost was, but close to it.
After an hour of horsing around and racing against one another. Patricia stops next to Antonio and shares her water bottle with him. She brought one of her thermos bottles from her fighter.
“Are you enjoying yourself?” Antonio looks at Patricia’s face.
“Yes, I’m having fun. It’s not as fun as flying, but I am having fun.” Patricia first love was flying.
“You’re going to have to take me flying one day.” The only flying Antonio has done was in a commercial Airline.
“I’ll talk to my boss and see if she’ll let me borrow of our trainers and take you up into the wild blue yonder.” A mischievous smile appears on her face.
“Why do I get the feeling, you’ll make the experience more then I would want?” Antonio has come to recognizes some of Patricia’s facial expressions.
He has learned she has a reckless, mischievous nature that would scare most people. She loved to take chances. He has also learned she is extremely talented when it comes to computers and electronics. He has seen where they just work right for her. He had a tablet that was giving him problems and locked up on him. She had asked to see it and the moment he handed it to her, it was working better then it has ever had. Even the radio in his patrol car worked better.
“I never do loop-de-loops with inexperienced people on the first or second time up in the air. I normally save that type of experience for your sixth or seventh time up in the air.” A teasing smile forms on Patricia’s face.
“You better not.” Antonio could tell Patricia was serious when she spoke.
A playful smile appears on her face as she starts her four-wheeler up. Patricia stands it on two wheels and speeds off.
“Show off!” Antonio follows Patricia. Someone needed to keep her out of trouble.
Ivy and Roger:
Roger watches as Ivy rode her horse. They had decided to spend time horseback riding. Roger didn’t know anything about riding horses, so Ivy had to show him. He was supposed to have dinner with her mother’s later.
They had left the mountain complex and flew to California. They were going to fly back, but for now, they were out enjoying the property in California. This was ivy’s birthplace and her family home.
“Come on slow poke.” Ivy turned around in her saddle to look back towards Roger.
“I’m coming.” Roger catches up to Ivy.
Ivy watches as Roger catches up to her. She noticed that he had improved on his horsemanship. She was enjoying being back home. The Mountain complex was nice and had almost all the things they had at home, but it didn’t have the green grass and her favorite horse.
Yes, she had her apartment near the mountain complex, but she enjoyed being out here in California. She leads Roger to some of her favorite
places. She still couldn’t believe that he was going to be her future husband and that they were going to have children together.
She knew her brother Andy and his old friend that had been turned into an ancient Egyptian. She couldn’t believe the medical report she saw of her. She was one hundred percent female, including having a fully operational reproductive organ.
Her older sister took several of her eggs and was studying one of them. As for her brother, she thinks he is thinking about marrying his best friend. It wasn’t like they didn’t know each other.
Roger looks at Ivy and wonders what she was thinking. She’s been quiet since he rejoined her.
“Penny for your thoughts.”
Ivy looks at Roger “I was just thinking about my brother and his best friend.”
“You mean William?” Roger had heard how Andy’s old friend. That was a researcher in England had been turned into a woman by an alien device.
The only reason he knew about it, was one of the guards that had gone to help bring back the alien ship. He had heard about it from one of the medical staffs. The mountain complex personnel were under orders to keep everything in the house. The hangar where the alien ship was stored was under intense protection. Patricia had shown them how to use the force field the ship was equipped with to protect the hangar it was stored in.
They had to do some repairs to it, but thanks to her knowledge and Ghost help. They managed to fix it and even managed to upgrade it. Janet’s company didn’t need to use it at full power, because there were currently no weapons on Earth, except nukes that could penetrate it.
They also, set up a stealth shield to keep the military from using their satellites to try and get a picture. It also hides the power output the force field produced. As for the chamber where they found it. The other person that had been turned into a woman, was working with a group of Egyptologists on the hieroglyphs and such they found down in the chamber.
A security team had been assigned to protect the team inside the chamber. There were still up rest in the area and the last thing they needed to know, was history was wrong. The security team sent to protect the Egyptologist were well trained and armed. They were a special group of people sent from another company.
“Yes, I mean my brother and his friend. You know, you can’t talk to anyone about what happened or the alien ship we brought back.” Ivy looks at Roger when she said that.
“I know and never will speak of anything that happens at the mountain. I’m too afraid on what your mother Tammi would do to me.” Roger knew Tammi was a deadly person. Even as old as she is, she is still dangerous.
“I know what you mean. There are things that my mother’s and older siblings do, that they don’t tell me.” Ivy knew her siblings and parents kept things from her because she wasn’t in the higher positions of the company.
“Sometimes, it’s nice, not knowing everything going on. Look at what is going on in Washington D.C. now. That family has a moron being related to them and what history is going to say about him later.”
“I wonder what history will say about all of us?” Ivy wonders if she should ask Patricia.
“To be honest, I think it will say we did our best and we still messed up because of the people leading this country.” Jake hated the current political government they had and wished sometimes that certain people should be removed. Even if it meant bending the laws some.
Ivy just looks at him and smile. He was right to a certain extent. She still would like to know what history would say.
“Come on, we need to get back to the house and fly back to the mountain complex.” Ivy turns around to head back to the house.
“Okay, just don’t do any crazy flying as you did on the way here.” Roger follows Ivy back to the house.
He helps her stable the horses and makes sure they are feed, before driving back to the airport. They took one of the private planes Janet and her family keep at the mountain complex. She was qualified on every plane they owned. Janet made sure all her children could fly. Sure, they had private pilot’s, but Janet still wanted her children to know how.
They fly back to the mountain complex.
Patricia looks down at Antonio as she rode him. She couldn’t believe how often they ended having marathon sex episodes. She bounces up and down on him faster and faster, till they both come at the same time. She falls forward towards him and kisses him.
She couldn’t believe how she felt about him. She looks into his eyes “I love you, so much.” As she kisses him again.
He breaks the kiss and looks into her eyes “I love you as well.” He goes back to kissing her, as he rolls her onto her back and starts going in and out of her.
Several hours later they finally wake-up. Patricia was sore as hell. She has never felt as sore as she does right now. Antonio buried himself deep into her body. She felt him hitting against her cervix. It felt painful and enjoyable at the same time.
She rolls out of bed and was hurting. This was the second time she has felt this type of pain. The first time had been with a Grokken. That had been a big mistake on her part and stupid as well. They were a minotaur type race and well endowed. She was challenged by one of their race that she couldn’t accommodate one of their kind. She should have known better because even a normal Earth woman had to work to accommodate one of them.
Antonio noticed how slow Patricia was moving “are you alright?” He walks over to her.
“I’ll be fine and I don’t regret anything.” She kisses him and walks slowly to the bathroom.
She starts filling the tub with hot water and slides into the tub. Hopefully, the hot water will ease the pain she was feeling. She leans back against the tub and closes her eyes. She hopes she becomes pregnant from Antonio. She has been looking for her soul mate for so long, that
she has given up on finding him.
“Pat, Sam wants to know what the security code is to access the ion converted program.” Ghost contacted Patricia through her cybernetic implant.
“You could have given it to her. After all, she designed it.” Patricia had her close and could see Ghost through their link.
“I don’t know the code. I can’t access it for some reason.”
“It’s her eldest daughter’s birthday. 05252025”
“Got it. Sam wants to know if you are still planning on coming in to help her with the modifications.”
“I’ll be there. I’m just a little sore right now. Tell Sam to go ahead and pull your engines out.” Patricia forgot that she gave her word to help Sam
out.
“Alright.”
Just as Ghost said those words, Antonio rushes into the bathroom and makes it to the toilet and start peeing. He looks over towards Patricia
“sorry for bursting in on you, but there’s a bank robbery in progress and they need me. Plus, I was hoping that you would be finished soon, so I could pee.”
“It's alright, I’ve done it to my mother enough times. Besides, I’ve seen what that fire hose of yours can do.” As she licks her lips from the blow jobs she had given him.
“Nothing fazes you, does it?” As he finishes and shakes.
“Nope, after all the stuff I’ve seen and been involved in. Nothing surprises me anymore.”
“Well, I liked to know more about you, besides how good you are in bed.” He walks over and leans down to kiss her.
Patricia returns the kiss. She loved how he made her feel. She couldn’t wait to have him inside of her again.
Antonio keeps kissing Patricia for a while, before he has to stop from lack of air. He stands up and looks at her beautiful youthful body.
“Are going to be here tonight?” He wanted to do something special for her.
“I promise an engineer I know that I would help her, so I might be late.”
“Call and let me know when you're on your way.” He gives her one more kiss before leaving.
Patricia watches Antonio leave the bathroom. When the water starts getting cold, she gets out and dries off. The hot water did help her, but she still felt sore. She also checks herself and could still feel that his semen was still up inside of her.
She gets dress in a pair thongs, leggings, and an oversized T-shirt dress. She doesn’t bother with a bra, because she wanted her breasts to be free for a while. It wasn’t like she needed to wear one all the time.
She drives to the mountain complex and part over near the hangar where Ghost was stored in. She had gone out and bought herself a used black 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider. Then she used her ability to increase its computer management system, which in turn increase its speed.
Inside R&D Hangar:
“I’m here Sam.” Patricia walks in and saw Ghosts engine department opened and parts laying on the workbench.
Sam was connecting the hosting cables to the engines to lift them out of Ghost. She turns around when she hears Pat’s voice “you didn’t tell me these engines are similar to the ones in the Vector’s.”
“I thought I would surprise you. Those engines are three generations ahead of the Vector’s engine.” Patricia climbs up on the ladder to walk on the safe parts of Ghost.
“What type of fuel does this engine burn?” Sam was curious because she didn’t see a fuel tank.
“Plasma. The main reactor of my fighter uses a special crystal your cousin Alessandro will discover down in Antarctica. That provides the
plasma the fighter uses. Ghost can use a normal liquid fuel mixture that is made from a mineral called Cavorite. There are only a few places where it can be found. The Crystals provides better energy and power for the fighter than its predecessor.” Patricia knew Alessandro was the oddball to the family.
He preferred trampling around in strange places conducting research and learning about different things. He and a survey team will enter a cave opening that will take them down deep under Antarctica surface. He was a nice person, but he preferred not to be around people.
Patricia helps Sam with the engines as she moves them over to the portable engine mounts. Sam directs Patricia to parts she needed to remove on the engine.
“So, how long do you think it will take to retrofit the engines with the new components and do we need to make space in the engine department?” Patricia looks towards Sam.
“The parts have been designed to fit the space of the ones we are taking out. That way we won’t have to do any modifications to the engine department.” Sam made sure to maintain what they had.
“You said the last time we talked that I will have five children. Will I quit being a mechanic?” Sam looks at Patricia.
“No, you’ll still be working full time and bring the kids here to the mountain complex where your sister and mothers will help you. As for your husband, he will be stationed on an aircraft carrier.”
“So, when will I be meeting my future husband?”
“Mmm, within three weeks from now. You’ll know right away because it's an instant attraction. It will be a month later before he leaves for six
months you’ll get married.” Patricia finishes taking the part she has been working on, off.
The next several hours Pat and Sam work removing items off Ghost that is going to be replaced with the new components. They placed the parts they were taking off, in specially design containers to store the parts.
“God, I never realized how much stuff you had packed in the engine department.” Patricia takes a look at the engine compartment.
“Well, until we put the new parts on and install his engine. None of his weapons, except maybe his missiles will work. I had to take the main power feed offline.” Sam couldn’t believe how much power and weapons Ghost had.
“We shouldn’t need his weapons or anything.” Patricia wipes her hands.
“Well, that’s all we can do for now. See you tomorrow?” Sam starts shutting things down.
“Alright. See you later.” Patricia walks out to her car and heads back to Antonio’s place.
Patricia stops at the convenience store near the mountain complex and grab a pint of Southern Pecan ice cream. She has been craving it all morning. She couldn’t believe how much she has been wanting it. She also grabs two chili dogs with the works as well. Once she pays for
them, she devours them like they were going out of style.
She gets into her car and head to the mountain complex while eating the ice cream. It tasted so good as it went down her throat. She couldn’t believe how much she was enjoying it. She parks her car next to Alice’s car. Patricia wonders what Alice was doing at the mountain complex.
She was normally, in California unless something unusual was going on.
As Patricia is walking in through the security entrance “Pat, you’re wanted in command.”
Roger noticed Patricia was eating ice cream. He wonders why she was eating ice cream this early in the morning.
“That’s an unusual breakfast.”
“I know, but all I could think about and wanted was Southern Pecan ice cream and chili dogs this morning.” Patricia finishes the ice cream up as she takes the elevator up to command.
She walks down a long corridor towards the command center. As she enters, it was busy. She spots an image on the big screen in command. Ghost was floating next to Janet.
“What’s up?” As she tosses the empty ice cream container in the trash.
“What do you make of this?” Janet switches views from one satellite to another for a better view.
Patricia spots a missile from North Korea being prepared for launching. She tries to recall what the missile was.
“North Korea is testing one of its ballistic missiles, it’s not a threat.” Pat knew they lacked the proper technology to be a threat.
“Pat, that’s not a normal energy signature.” Ghost was analyzing the energy emissions from the missiles and it wasn’t human technology.
“What do you mean?” Patricia wanted another southern pecan ice cream.
“The energy emissions coming off that missile is wrong. It isn’t Earth made.” Ghost searches through his database and finds that the energy emission matches a crulxox crystal.
“That energy signature matches a Crulxox crystal.”
“What’s a Crulxox crystal?” Everyone looks towards Patricia.
“It’s a crystal with the destructive force of all the nukes on this planet. You could split the planet with that crystal. How in the hell did they get one?” Patricia almost went pale from the thought of what it could do.
“Can you stop it, from launching?” Janet looks towards Patricia.
“If I had Ghost, yes. I have a powerful EMP missile that can neutralize the crystal, but his engines are out of him.” Patricia hated this. There wasn’t much she could do.
“How about the Vectors? Are they fast enough and are they capable of carrying the missile?” Sam figures if Ghost was based on the Vectors, why couldn’t they be used. They were the fastest they had available.
“We could do that. The missile would fit in Vector’s missiles bay and I could adjust the computer systems.”
“Then go and do what you need to.” Janet figure it might be close.
Patricia grabs her flight suit and slips it on, while the ground crew take a missile out of Ghost’s missile bay and transport it to Vector 3. Ghost was programming the missile and the coordinates into the flight and navigation computers. Sam was amazed at what Ghost could do.
Patricia comes running into the hangar fully dress carrying her helmet. Her breast felt a little tender when she changed her clothes and switched to her flight suit.
“You’re all fuel and ready to go. We’ll arrange for you to tank up with a tanker or aircraft carrier.” Sam knew if Pat was going to get there in time, she was going to have to go full burn.
“Okay.” Pat hops into the Fighter and rolls down the tarmac.
“Vector 3 to AFI tower. Requesting permission to take off.”
“Permission granted, Vector 3, Good hunting.”
“Thanks.” Patricia goes full burn down the runway. She lifts into the air like a bullet out of a gun.
The G-forces didn’t bother her as she flies towards North Korea. Her ability merges with the aircraft as she flies. The craft was her body as she adjusts the controls and computer systems. She could feel the missile as if it was part of her.
It doesn’t take her long to enter North Korean airspace. She had already hacked into their systems and turned them off. It was easy to do since their systems were simple. Patricia flies in close and arms the missile.
“Missile away” Patricia goes full burn to get out of range of the effects of the missile. Ghost is shielded against the effect, but Vector 3 wasn’t.
She got out of range just in time as the satellite link-up shows her what happens next. She watches the missile striking and knocking the missile and everything out within a 100 meters radius out. That missile was designed to take capital ships out.
Patricia relaxes as she checks her fuel. She was dangerously low on fuel, even with the modifications she made with her ability, she burned too much fuel. If she doesn’t get fuel in the next few minutes, she was going to crash into the ocean.
“Vector 3 to AFI headquarters, I’m flying on fumes right now. Have you found me a gas station, yet?”
“Vector 3, do you have enough fuel left to make it to Kadena Air Base?” Tony was tracking Vector’s 3 location.
Patricia looks at the gauges and figures she has just enough to make it. She figures she’ll have to glide the last part.
“I’ll be able to make it.” Patricia couldn’t believe she was craving ice cream and Irish beef stew right now.
Patricia changes course and builds up speed and altitude so, she could glide in if need be. Her fuel runs out three-quarters of the way to the airbase.
“Well, there goes the engines.” Patricia hopes she makes it.
“Kadena Air control tower to Vector 3. Adjust your flight path to 30 degrees, east. You’ll be coming in on runway 5.”
“Roger Kadena Control tower.” Patricia adjusts her glide path.
As she gets closer and lower, she extends her landing gear and touches down on the runway. Her tanks were bone dry, as she slowly reduces her momentum. The aircraft comes to a complete stop. She accesses one of the guy's headsets “hey, can one of you guys grab me a soda please, thanks?”
One of the guys go and bring her soda, while she is pulled to a safe zone. She figures they were going to have questions for her. She climbs down while they refuel Vector.
Patricia admires herself as she brushes her long red hair. Her hair was fuller and brighter in color than normal. She winces when Antonio comes up from behind her and squeezes her breasts. It hurt her, where it didn’t use to. They also felt heavier than she remembered.
Antonio saw the expression on Patricia’s face in the mirror when he squeezed her breasts. It was one of pain, instead of pleasure. He knew her breasts were one of her pleasure areas.
“Is everything alright?” Antonio was concerned.
“I don’t know. My breasts have been feeling a little tender and fuller lately.” Patricia just stares at her breasts. She notices that the areole on both breasts was darker than normal. Even her nipples were a little puffier than usual.
“Well, I hope everything is alright. Isn’t there a doctor at that place you work at that could examine you?” Antonio kisses Patricia’s neck.
“Yeah, she’s the daughter of the owner of the place. Even Janet could examine me. She’s a full fledged doctor and it is time for my yearly physical.” She turns around to face Antonio.
She kisses him as she feels his hardon press against his boxers and her panty clad bottom. She wiggles against his hardon. She feels him pull her against this body.
“You know, we have time for a quickie before I have to be at work.” As he inches her panties down her hip.
“Mmmm, that would be nice.” As Patricia slides his boxers down.
The next thing she feels, once his boxers were down around his knees, is Antonio entering her. The next thirty minutes the two of them spend having morning sex. She ignores the pain in her breasts when he squeezes them again and again.
Patricia licks her lips as she pulls into the convenience store parking lot. She could still taste Antonio in her mouth. She walks in and heads over to the freezer and grab a pint of Southern Butter Pecan ice cream and three chili dogs, along with a large coffee.
As she is walking up to the counter to pay for her items, she grabs a couple sticks of Slim Jim’s. Once she is standing in front of the cashier “morning George, how has your morning been?”
“Hey, Pat. It’s been fine so far. What’s with all the food this morning?” George notices that Patricia has been coming more often and buying food, instead of just her coffee.
“Hungry. I have been craving ice cream and chili dogs lately. As for the slim Jim’s they are for later in the day.” Patricia takes a bite out of the hot dog.
“Well, I hope everything was okay.” George had the sneaking suspicion that Patricia might be pregnant.
“You and me both. I’m going to go and see the doctor today to make sure everything is.” Patricia figures when she gets to the mountain complex, she’ll drop in and see Janice. She was supposed to be staying at the mountain for a while, watching her mother.
The chili dogs are gone by the time she arrives at the mountain complex. She gets out of her car and walks inside. She spots Roger and he looked worn out.
“Did Ivy keep you up last night?” A smirk appears on her face.
“It was the other way around. I kept her up.” Roger just smirks thinking about Ivy walking around kind of funny.
Roger notices that Patricia had ice cream again. A sly smile appears on his face and wonders if Patricia is pregnant. He also notices she had a glow about her.
“Hey, do you know if Janice is in today?” Patricia was curious if she arrived yet.
“She didn’t come in through here. Let me check the computer.” Roger checks the login log for the other entrance and notice’s Janice came in at 0600 hrs.
“Thanks.”
"She's here. She came in at 0600 hrs. this morning."
Patricia heads towards medical to see Janice.
Medical:
Janice looks up when Patricia comes walking in. She had been busy looking over her mother’s test results.
“What can I do for you, this morning?” Janice knew Patricia didn’t really need to see her.
“Well, its time for my annual check-up and lately my breast has been feeling tender and fuller lately.” Patricia sits down in front of Janice desk.
“Well, let's go ahead and check you out and see what is going on with you.” Janice escorts Patricia over towards a curtain off area.
Patricia follows Janice and accepts the paper gown. She goes behind the curtain and changes out of her street clothes and into the paper gown.
“How long have your breasts been feeling tender and fuller?” Janice had Patricia’s medical records on her iPad up and was looking over it. She’s been here a few weeks now.
“At least since last week.” She had to think about it. She figured when she started feeling the tenderness, was because of all the sex her and Antonio have been having.
She loved having him fill her up and press against her cervix. She felt stuff and couldn’t believe how hard he became. No other man she has been to bed with has ever made her feel like he does.
“Alright, let's check your vitals first and compare them to the ones that were taken when you arrived. Also, don’t use your abilities to play with my machines.” Janice gives Patricia a stern look.
“I promise.” Patricia holds her hand up and promises.
Janice goes about taking Patricia’s vitals and recording them while checking them against her previous ones. She pulls out the alien device they found onboard the ship her mother brought back. According to her mother, it was a medical scanner. Her mother had been talking about designing a medical scanner bed like they have in Star Trek The Next Generation.
“Alright, up on the table and put your legs in the stirrups.” As Janice gets ready to do an examination of Patricia’s reproductive organs.
“Janice, you might want to be careful while you’re looking inside of me. Me and Antonio sort of had sex before we separated this morning.” Pat felt she should warn her.
“Thanks for the warning.” Janice sits on her stool and examines Patricia.
“You know, you have Sam curious as hell on who her husband is and I heard you hooked Ivy up with Roger.” As Janice opens Patricia vagina to look inside.
Patricia didn’t feel anything “yeah, her and Roger are meant to be together, just like your brother and his best friend. Do you want to know who your partner is?”
“Not really, I do want to know if they are a boy or a girl.” Janice was curious because she swung both ways.
“Let’s just say your partner has both organs. It will be a transgender you’ll meet in the next few months that doesn’t want to have the surgery to become fully female.” Patricia liked Violet. Where Janice was the stuffy business person. Violet was the partier and thrill seeker type of person.
“You mean, my mate is transgender, and she doesn’t want to have the surgery?” Janice looks up from being between Patricia’s legs.
“Yep, she’s happy being a shemale. Which is something that is fine with you? Because the two of you will have six children together.” Patricia couldn’t believe how many children Janice has from her partner.
Janice spots the semen Antonio left in Patricia. She takes a sample of it to compare against the DNA of the child. The medical scanner and her own examination of Patricia were showing that she is pregnant. She was in the early stages of her pregnancy, but she did have a baby growing inside her uterus and her body was adjusting to the changes. The mucus plug that normally forms to block the uterus, was already in place.
Janice performs one more test to triple check her findings. She takes a blood sample from Patricia. She’ll run the test after Patricia leaves.
“Why don’t you go ahead and get dress. We’ll talk about what I found.” Janice looks at Patricia as she sat up.
Patricia looks at Janice “did you find something unusual about me?”
“That depends on what you define as unusual.” Janice had a smirk on her face.
“Oh, stop playing coy with me. What did you find out?” Patricia gets off the examination table and walks over to the curtain partition.
She tears the paper gown off as she starts getting dress. She wonders why Janice was being so coy about. Once she was completely dressed, she comes back out and looks at Janice.
Janice had the test tube with Patricia’s blood in her hand. She wonders if it was going to confirm what her test and the medical scanner showed. She prints a label out and applies it to the outside of the test tube.
She also put the sperm that she took out of Patricia next to the blood sample. She’ll do a genetic breakdown of it later.
“Alright spill. What are you being so coy about?” Patricia looks towards Janice.
“Have you had your period, yet?” Janice didn’t know what Pat’s period cycle was. All they knew about her; she was stationed in space a lot.
“Just before I arrived here at this time.” Patricia had to think about it for a second.
“Well, the reason your breasts are tender, and your nipples are puffer, is because you are pregnant.” Janice had a smile on her face.
“I call bullshit. It would take an extraordinary man to get me pregnant. The outter layer of my eggs is extremely hard for an ordinary sperm to break through. That’s why I don’t bother with birth control. Any man I have children from would have to be extraordinary like me and my parents.” Patricia couldn’t believe Antonio would be extraordinary like her or gifted somehow.
“Well, so far the examination I gave you and the alien medical device I used on you. Both confirm each other. Once I do your blood work, it will hopefully confirm what the other two methods have confirmed. I take it you weren’t trying to get pregnant, were you?” Janice looks at Patricia like her mother does her sometimes.
“Of course not. I arrived here completely by accident.” Patricia was surprised that Antonio managed to get her pregnant.
Janet had said in her time that it would take a person of an extraordinary ability to get through the five layers that surround her eggs. Most women have two or three layers that surround their eggs. She had between four or five layers that surrounded her eggs and it would take an extraordinary male with very strong sperm to penetrate her eggs. That was why she didn’t bother with birth control.
“This changes things for me. Do I want to go back now that I have found a man that I am falling in love with and carrying our child?” Patricia sits down on the stool Janice had sat on to examine her.
Janice looks at Patricia “how much does he know about you?”
“Nothing except what is on the driver license I created and the information he could get when he runs my name. He knows I fly for your mother, but he doesn’t know about my extraordinary abilities.” Patricia looks at Janice.
“Well, it seems like you might have a problem on your hands. I don’t know if the shielding on your aircraft will protect you enough and not cause changes to you when you fly back. It’s possible, the temporal energies might cause the acceleration of your pregnancy. You could end up giving birth inside your fighter.” Janice wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
“Please, don’t curse me like that. This might rewrite history some.” Patricia was worried about that.
“Well, not really. It could have been in Faith’s plan to send you back in time to find your mate. You said no one from where you came from was able or equipped to get you pregnant. Maybe, that was why you were sent back in time?” Janice was quick and understood temporal theories better than most people.
“Maybe, the thing is, do I tell Antonio everything about me or do I hold some of it back?” Patricia never figured she would have to explain herself to him.
“That is a problem, but if you want to stay with him. You might want to tell him everything about you.” Janice just observes Patricia as she thought about what she said.
“You’re no help, you know that?” Patricia glares at Janice.
A smirk appears on her face “I can’t make decisions for you Pat. You should know that about me if what you said was true about knowing all of us.”
“I do. You were annoying in my time as well. However, you are right. I have to decide if I am going to tell Antonio. I’m just surprised he managed to make me pregnant.” Patricia places her hand over her abdomen.
“Well, it did take two of you to do the deed. He isn’t the only one to blame. You could have taken precautions as well.”
“Yes, mother.” Patricia gets up off the stool. She still had her hand on top of her abdomen.
A teasing smile appears on her face. She wonders what type of mother Patricia is going to make and will her children have her abilities. She’ll have to monitor Patricia throughout her pregnancy.
“How far along would you say I am?” Patricia was curious about that.
“You’re still in the early stages, so I would say about your third week going into your fourth week.” Janice was just guessing. The medical scanner was more accurate.
Patricia thinks about how long she and Antonio have been having sex. She must have become pregnant after her first time with him. The week she and Sam went to Coconino County, Arizona.
“Thanks, Janice.”
“You’re welcome. Hey, if you don’t mind. I would like to be your doctor during your pregnancy.”
“I couldn’t ask for a better doctor.” As Patricia walks out and heads down to the hangar Ghost was stored in.
Later in the afternoon Janice calls Patricia and confirms what she told her earlier. Her blood test had shown she was indeed going to be a mommy. The sample of sperm Antonio left inside Patricia had proven to be extraordinary as well. His genetics showed that he carried an extra gene that was dormant. It explained why he was able to impregnate her.
Throughout the day Patricia thinks about how to tell Antonio that she was carrying his child. Also, did she want to stay here now, instead of going back? She knew that all that awaited her was more fighting. She would be sent back to the carrier she was assigned too. Sure, they would take her off flight duty till she had the baby, but once she was able to fly again. They would send her out. She wouldn’t have Antonio to help her raise the baby and her parents were dead.
Sam had Patricia working with her in the hangar where the alien ship was. They already had a full working detail of the ship and how it flies, thanks to Patricia’s gift. What they were doing now was back engineering some of the functions to see if they could replicate it and adapt it to some of the aircraft and shuttles, they were building.
Sam notices Patricia was distracted “what’s got you so distracted, today? Are you thinking about your boyfriend and what he is going to do you later tonight?”
Patricia looks at Sam “actually, I’m trying to think about how I am going to explain to Antonio that I’m pregnant.”
“You’re what?” Sam couldn’t believe what she just heard. She looks towards Patricia.
“I’m pregnant. Your sister just confirmed it and I didn’t think it was possible. I have slept with over a hundred guys. Both human and alien and none of them have been able to impregnate me. I come here and the second guy I sleep with knocks me up.” Patricia couldn’t believe it.
“Didn’t you take precautions?”
“I never needed to. According to your sister from my time. It would take an extraordinary guys sperm to fertilize my eggs. I mean they would have to be really special or similar to me. It seems I found someone in this time that is extraordinary, but the gene he carries is dormant in him.” Patricia couldn’t get over the fact that Antonio had that special gene.
“So, the man you are seeing is able to impregnate you, but the special gene he carries is dormant? Can you activate that gene?” Sam wipes the sweat on her forehead.
“No, I don’t have that capability. There are only two people I know who can activate a dormant gene likes Antonio’s and they haven’t been born yet. Just like I haven’t been born yet.” Patricia knew Terry Longwood and Sarah Cotton had the unique ability to activate people who had dormant genes in their DNA.
“Well, what are you going to do? Are you going to go back to your time frame or stay here?” Sam wouldn’t mind playing with Ghost some more.
“I don’t know yet. So far, only you and Janice know I’m pregnant.” Patricia walks over and grabs one of the components that was going on Ghost’s engines.
Her and Sam work putting some of the new components on the engines. They still didn’t have everything they needed to make Ghost travel through time. They stop around three o’clock. There wasn’t much they could do until they got the rest of the parts.
As Sam is cleaning her hands, one of her assistants enters the hangar they are working in and hand her a tablet. She watches as Sam watches whatever on the tablet.
“Thanks, Carol. Tell Murry to go ahead and set up the test between Night Bird and Boeings new six generation Apache helicopter.” Sam already knew Night Bird was going to win the contest.
“Yes, ma’am.” Carol turns and heads back to her desk.
“Is Carol still having problems with her parents, about her marrying another woman?”
“Yes, Carol’s father has cut her out of the will and her mother doesn’t want to have anything to do with her.” Sam knew her assistant was a good person and couldn’t help who she loved.
She met Carol’s wife Tabitha and liked her. She was a hair stylist and made pretty good money. She worked at one of the popular hair salons around. The owner had worked in Hollywood and when she became pregnant. She opened her own hair salon in Emery County, Utah.
“Well, her mother will come around after Carol has her first baby.”
“How is she going to have a baby? Is she going to cheat on Tabitha?” Sam knew she shouldn’t ask.
“Tabitha’s older brother is going to donate his sperm for them to have a baby.” Patricia always thought that was nice of him.
“You really need to stop telling us about the future.” Sam put her tools away.
“I know and as far I can tell, nothing has changed the future yet. Even with me getting pregnant, I thought that might change things.”
“Maybe, that only changes your history some. You know, it sort of changes things for Doc Brown when he married a woman from the past and had two children with her. That could have changed something for him.” Sam liked the Back to The Future movies.
“Maybe. I’m going to go ahead and head home. I might take tomorrow off.”
“No problem. I have a conference I have to attend in Philly, so I won’t be here. If you need to take one of the Vector’s out. I armed Vector 2 with
six missiles. They aren’t as powerful as the missiles on Ghost, but they will get the job done.” Sam figured it would be best to keep one of the Vector’s armed, so Ghost didn’t lose any more of his missiles till they could replace them.
“Thanks.” Patricia heads towards her Ferrari and heads towards Antonio’s house.
She checks the time and figures he should be getting home in an hour or so. She stops at The Fresh Market and picks up some groceries to make dinner tonight. She also picks up a bottle of wine to go with dinner. It wouldn’t do anything to her or the baby yet.
When Patricia arrives home, she changes out of the clothes she wore to work. She slips on a simple strappy causal mini dress. She didn’t bother changing her panties. While she is preparing the steaks to throw on the outside grill. She mentally turns on the television and selects a movie from the current movies showing.
Antonio had managed to get off early and stopped at the grocery store on the way home. He wanted to do something special for Patricia tonight. He heads inside the store and does some shopping. He knew her favorite stew, was Irish stew and she loved homemade Lasagne. He found that out when they went over to his friends Anthony and Wilma’s house for dinner.
There was a lot he didn’t know about Patricia. He ran her name through the criminal database and even had her DNA tested. According to the company that tested her DNA. There was something unusual about it. She had an extra gene. They didn’t know what to make of it. There was a lot about her DNA they couldn’t figure out.
He knew she flew fighter jets and was extremely flexible and agile. He also knew she could stay awake all night without ever feeling tired and have a lot of energy. He heads towards the cashier and pays for his purchases.
Once he pays for his items. He heads home. As he approached his place, he spots Patricia’s Ferrari in the driveway. He couldn’t believe she went out and bought it. He knew she was crazy about speed and had a lead foot. He couldn’t believe she spent the money to buy it. He didn’t know she had the money to buy it.
He pulls up beside the Ferrari and wonders why she was home early. As he walks into the house, he could hear her listening to a movie. The volume was turned up loud. He peeks in the kitchen and notices her pounding the daylights out of some steaks and rubbing some spices into them.
He notices she had changed her clothes and was wearing a mini-dress. He just stands and watches Patricia as she seasoned the steaks. He loved how domesticated she looked. It was like she belonged in the kitchen.
He walks over and places a kiss on her cheek and the groceries on the counter. He steps up behind her and wraps his arms around her waist.
“How was your day and what did the doctor say?” As he nibbles on her neck.
Patricia mentally turns the television off. She takes a deep breath, as she stops seasoning the steaks and vegetables. “She said I have a bun
in the oven.”
Patricia turns around in Antonio’s arms to look into his gray eyes. Antonio looks into Patricia’s baby blue eyes and could see she was telling the truth.
“I thought you said that you could only become pregnant from a really gifted person.” Antonio had inquired why Patricia didn’t use precautions when they made love.
“I did and it seems, I found that very special person.” As she leans in and kisses him.
He returns the kiss and holds her close to his body. His hand slides down to her ass and squeeze it. He breaks the kiss “how far along are you?”
“According to my doctor, I’m about four to five weeks along. I figure the first time me and you made love, is when you got me pregnant.” Patricia just kept her eyes on him.
A smile appears on his face “well, you were a wildcat in bed and I did give you what you asked me to do. Do you regret having sex that night?” He watches her eyes. They were so pretty.
“I don’t regret anything. There’s more that I need to tell you about myself.”
“Let me guess, you’re married?” Antonio wonders what Patricia had to tell him.
“Actually, I’m not married. I’m from the future and possess special gifts.”
Antonio had kept his gaze on Patricia “what do you mean you're from the future and you possess special abilities?”
“Just what I said. I have special abilities and I’m from the future. “
“Can you prove it?” Antonio didn’t know if Patricia was nuts or not.
Patricia turns the television back on and transmitted a memory from her past up on the screen. It was from her first day of entering Earth Force.
“That is my memory I am showing you.”
Antonio looks at the memory playing on his television set in the living room. He watches as he sees Patricia board a wicked looking fighter and head into space along with several other fighters. They head towards a boxy looking ship, that looked like something from Babylon 5 Earth Force. He watches as what he thinks is a carrier jumps into Hyperspace and reappears in another star system. The screen goes blank.
Antonio turns around and looks into Patricia’s eyes “how did you do that?”
“I can control anything that has a microchip or is electronic. Normally, I have to be near an object or touching it, but I was implanted with a biochip that allows me to extend the range of my ability. It also acts as a transmitter and receiver and I can use it on any frequency, including sub-space.” Patricia grabs Antonio’s hand and lets him feel where the implant was.
“How did you arrive here?”
“I came through a tear in the fabric of space and time. That’s all I can tell you right now. As for the other matter, how do you feel about being a father?” Patricia was nervous and wonders how he will feel.
“To be honest with you, I’m happy as a clam. How about after dinner, we go and celebrate? As he kisses her and let his hands roam around on her ass.
After ten minutes of kissing, they separate and Patricia goes back to prepping dinner. The steaks were seasoned the way she knew Antonio liked them.
“You said you can control anything as long as you can contact it?”
“Yep, anything that has a microchip or is electronics. If it’s organic, it is a little bit more difficult for me. Why do you ask?” Patricia glances towards him.
“Can you bring up the football game going on in Minnesota?”
“Yep.” Patricia finds the signal and links it to the cable box in the living room.
Antonio smiles and places a kiss on Patricia’s cheek. He had money on the game and wanted to make sure he saw the results.
Patricia opens her eyes and looks into the darkness of the bedroom. She could still taste Antonio’s semen and her juices in her mouth. She had let Antonio do whatever he wanted to her. Her anal opening was sore from letting Antonio, enter into her body from there. At first, it had hurt until he started pumping in and out of her. She came to enjoy letting him take her in her ass.
They made love until midnight when Antonio finally passed out. She knew he was going to be sore when he woke up. She had enjoyed their lovemaking. It wasn’t like he could knock her up anymore. The path to her uterus was blocked by some sort of mucus plug. Something felt different about her body. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but she felt some slight weight pressing against her bladder.
She gets up and walks towards the bathroom to pee. The weight she was feeling was still there. She runs her hand over her belly and felt a slight lump to it. That lump hadn’t been there when she went to see Janice or afterward yesterday. She finishes peeing and cleaning herself.
Instead of going back to bed, Patricia heads outside through the sliding glass doors to the back porch. She just stares out into the night. She is standing there watching and listening to the nightlife, when a wave of nausea and vertigo overwhelms her. She falls to her knees and tries to keep from throwing up. She feels the connection she has with Ghost disappear. She falls face first to the deck and blacks out.
“Patricia, come on baby wake up.” Antonio had gotten up to use the bathroom, when he noticed Patricia missing from bed.
He looked around the house and spotted her laying face first out on the back porch. He rushed to her side and checked her pulse. Her pulse was good as he held her head on his lap. He also noticed her belly and breast had gotten bigger. She looked further along then she did when they went to bed.
He’s been trying for the last twenty minutes to wake her. He shakes her one more time “Patricia wake up.”
Patricia wakes up and saw Antonio’s concerned face looking down at her. She tries to figure out what she was doing out on the back porch in the nude and why her breasts and abdomen were bigger then they use to be.
“What happened to me and why are my breasts and belly bigger?” Patricia tries to stand up.
She managed to stand up off the porch with Antonio’s help. She was feeling so confused and disoriented.
“What happened to you, Pat? I’ve spent the last twenty minutes trying to wake you.” Antonio was concerned as he looked at Patricia.
“I don’t know. Everything is like a blur to me right now and how did I become so big?” Patricia couldn’t believe how big she had gotten.
“Here let me lead you back into the house.” Antonio leads Patricia back into the house and over to the bed.
Her head felt like someone had played taps on her skull. There was a slight ache. The last time she felt like this, was when she extended her ability to control several ships. She closes her eyes and falls into a deep sleep.
Antonio watched Patricia when she laid down on the bed and within seconds she was out like a light. He does place his hand on her belly and wonders how it got so big and how far along she was now. He lays down next to her and falls back to sleep.
When the alarm clock went off to wake Patricia, she mentally causes it to go into snooze mode. It goes off a second time and she shut it off.
Her belly was still the same size as Antonio found her. She shakes him “wake up. You’re driving me to work.”
Patricia heads towards the bathroom and empties her bladder. She splashes some water onto her face.
“Pat, you better get down to the mountain. It’s an emergency.” Ghost came through their link louder than normal.
“Owe! You don’t need to be so damn loud.” The headache Patricia has increased some.
She walks back into the bedroom and spots Antonio getting dress “we need to really hurry. Something unusual is going on down at the mountain.”
Patricia looks through her clothes to find something she could wear, but none of her clothes would fit her, except for her sweats and a t-shirt. All her bras were tight on her.
“Looks like we are going to need to stop and get you some maternity clothes to wear.” A smirk appears on Antonio’s face.
Patricia just glares at him as she slips her tennis shoes on. She wants to know how she became so big, so fast. Her mother never experiences any of this when she was carrying her.
It takes Antonio twenty minutes to get to the mountain complex. He had to pull over, to let Patricia throw up. She was suffering from motion
sickness. When they approached the entrance, Patricia noticed they were in lock down. The two gate guards gave Patricia a hard time bring
a visitor onto the complex. They had to radio ahead to get clearance for Antonio.
Antonio wonders what type of place this complex was. He has heard rumors about it, but he didn’t believe them. He looks at Patricia “what do you guys do here?”
A smirk appears on her face “a little bit of everything.”
Antonio follows Patricia directions to the mountain and parks in her reserve spot. She fishes her identity card out and approaches the security desk.
“Hi Roger, I need a visitor pass for my boyfriend.” Patricia was happy to be out of the SUV. She didn’t feel as sick as she did with Antonio driving.
Roger turned around and spotted Patricia dress very casual and a man standing next to her, dress semi-casual. He also noticed that Patricia was bigger in the chest department and her belly was sticking out more.
“Daman, Patricia. What happened to you?” Roger saw Patricia yesterday and she didn’t look like she does now.
“He knocked me up.” As Patricia points towards Antonio.
Antonio was caught off guard with that admission from Patricia to a stranger. He looks at Roger and notices he had a smirk on his face.
“Good job, sir. Maybe she’ll be a little bit more careful now.” Roger thought it was funny.
“It’s not funny Roger. I can’t wait till you knock up Ivy and have to tell her mothers.”
Antonio follows Patricia as she heads towards an elevator. As they are waiting for the elevator “does everyone here know you are pregnant?”
“Nope! The only people who knew were Janice, Sam and you. Now, they will know, because look at me? I can’t get in my flight suit looking like this.” Patricia hated the fact she was grounded.
When the elevator arrives, they take it to the command level. The motion of the elevator made Patricia want to throw up. She was doing her best to hold what was left in her stomach from coming up.
Antonio thought it was kind of amusing, that Patricia was suffering motion sickness. He knew she loved driving fast and felt that she loved flying fast as well. He just holds her as the elevator stops.
The doors open to a hallway with four full armed guards protecting another door. Antonio helps Patricia walk towards them. They stop at the door.
“Are you okay, Ms. MacQuien?” One of the security guards that knew Patricia was concerned.
“I’m alright, Hank. I’ve just been experiencing some changes lately. Also, I would like for you to meet my future husband and the father of my
baby. He’s been given security level Beta.” Which meant Patricia was responsible for Antonio’s actions. If he broke any of the rules or committed a crime here at the mountain, she would be charged as well.
“Very well. Mrs. Blake is expecting you.” He steps back and let Patricia walk past him.
Antonio leans down to whisper to Pat “what does security level Beta mean?”
“Means if you screw up, I get charged as well. Also, it gives you clearance for the command level and the hangar where I keep Ghost.” She squeezes Antonio’s hand as they enter the command center.
Antonio couldn’t believe the place. It was a hive of activity. It was like if he had gone to Norad and was looking at the whole planet and such. He saw images of planets, space, and the Earth. One screen had every military base and movement around.
A woman wearing a white lab coat that had short blonde hair turns around to look at him and Patricia. Her eyes were completely black There was another woman standing next to her and she looked like someone you didn’t want to mess with. She had short dark hair and dress in a skin tight body suit. There was also a huge floating circular ball floating near both women.
“Antonio, allow me to introduce you to Dr. Janet Blake, her wife Tammie White Tomlinson, and the main computer of my fighter Ghost. He’s an advanced artificial intelligence and linked to me.”
Janet and Tammie noticed how casually dress Patricia was and how big her belly and breasts were. Janice had informed her mother about Patricia’s condition yesterday, but she never said she was this big.
“What happened to you?” Tammie was curious.
“He knocked me up. His super sperm broke through my eggs. As to how I got this big, is a good question. So, what is the emergency?” Pat was curious now.
“This. It was left with your name on it and we can’t get it to work.” Janet was holding a grey metallic square cube.
“I’ve never seen it before.” Patricia tries to access it with her ability, but she gets feedback from it and it increases her headache.
“I take it, that it resisted your abilities?” Janet had noticed a slight expression on Pat’s face.
“Yes, it sent back a feedback signal and it hurt.” Pat rubs her temples.
“What is it and is it safe to touch?” Antonio was being cautious.
“It’s safe to touch. It’s meant for Patricia.” Janet places it in Patricia’s hand.
As soon as the metallic metal touched Patricia’s skin, it comes to life. An image of a woman with light black skin, pointed ears and purple silver hair appears. Her eyes were the color of Amethyst. She was wearing a long flowing robe with stars on it that twinkle.
“Greeting Patricia, Mrs. Janet, Mr. Antonio, Tammie, and Ghost. My name is Renate and I am leaving you this message because the time plans and components you acquired had to be confiscated. The reason why they had to be removed is that you were never meant to have them this soon.
The government and people in your century just aren’t ready for this type of technology. They are too warlike and self-centered. You can understand why we had to take this step. All existence of this technology has been removed from everyone who has had access to it or knows about. We had to wipe Ghost’s memory banks and erase the plans from you, Patricia. Also, we are sorry that we accelerated your pregnancy so much. We didn’t mean to and congratulations as well.
Your job Patricia is to help Mrs. Blake and several others prepare for an invasion that will be coming your way in fifteen years. You will have help from the stars, but you need to start recruiting and training people soon. As for you running into your younger self throughout the years. We have taken precautions so that will never happen.”
“Why don’t I know anything about this?” Patricia was confused.
“Because it hasn’t happened to you yet. Your younger self was being trained by the government when your abilities manifest. The last time it happened, Earth barely survived. Even with help from the stars. Now, however with your training and being here, the earth will stand a better chance of putting up a fight. When the earthlings that had been taken returns to help you out. The invaders will be out matched and will regret it.”
“Are you sure the invaders will come?” Antonio was curious.
“They have always come here, grandpa. All those UFO reports and the missing people and children that have been reported missing, were kidnapped by them to be sold as slaves, food stock and experimented on.”
“Did you just call me grandpa?” Antonio was shocked.
“Yes, but your more like five generations in my past and dead by the time I am born.” She smiles and shows off her pointy teeth.
“Anyway, I have to end this message. So, please take this message seriously and start building the future.” The woman disappears.
“We now know how I became so fat all of sudden.” Patricia places her hand on her belly.
“And other reasons on why you were sent here.” Janet looks at Patricia.
“We are going to be very busy, for the next fifteen years.” Tammie just smirks.
“And I’m going to be the great grandfather to that woman.” Antonio hadn’t thought his life would mean anything. Now he knows he is going to be remembered.
“I can’t leave you alone for one day, can I?” Janice scans Patricia’s belly with the hand-held alien medical scanner. She already did an ultrasound and printed the picture out of Patricia’s and Antonio’s daughter.
The medical scanner gave her a better readout on the baby. Because Patricia had special abilities and Antonio had dormant ones. The baby stood a chance of having them. The scans confirmed that their baby was going to be born with special abilities. What they would be, she couldn’t tell.
“Well, your baby girl is healthy and will be born with abilities.” Janice turns the scanner off.
“So, I’m having a baby girl?” Patricia had a huge smile on her face. She looks over towards Antonio to see what he thought.
Antonio couldn’t believe he was going to be a father. He looks at the ultrasound picture in his hand.
“Do you know what she will look like?” He was curious.
“According to her genetic makeup, she’ll have light brown hair, hazel eyes, fair skin and will be a few inches taller, then Patricia. As for her facial features, she’ll take after your family mostly, Antonio. She’ll have her mother’s perky nose and cheeks, but the rest is after your family.” Janice liked the medical device.
“You can tell that with that strange looking device?” Antonio was looking at the medical scanner.
“Yep, it gives a complete picture of the baby. She is also the reason Patricia has motion sickness. She doesn’t like high speeds like her mother.” Janice thought it was funny.
“Is there anything you can give me for it?” Patricia was getting tired of throwing up.
“Nope, and how in the hell did you become six months pregnant?” Janice couldn’t believe Patricia went from being five weeks pregnant to being six months along.
“According to this cube, I would assume my great-granddaughter was reasonable for it. She used temporal energies on me.”
“Well, you can’t fly your fighter in the condition you are in. You might adjust to driving and elevators, but if you decide to fly normally, you better take a barf bag with you.” Janice couldn’t give Patricia anything for her motion sickness.
“Great! That means I’m going to have to fly Ghost by remote.” Patricia would rather be inside him.
“Is there anything else she should avoid or do?” Antonio wanted to make sure Patricia and the baby were taken care of.
“Besides prenatal vitamins and lay off certain foods the baby hates? She might want to exercise some as well. She’s put on some weight since her pregnancy has been advanced.” A smile forms on Janice’s face.
“Did the temporal energies do anything weird to the baby?” Patricia wonders how affected the baby would be.
“Nope, all it did was advance the development of her. She’s in perfect health.” Janice updates Patricia’s medical file with the note of the development of the baby being advance by temporal energies.
Patricia gets up off the examination table. She looks at Antonio “would you like to see my fighter, since we are done here?”
“Sure, I would love to see it.” Antonio would like to see this advanced fighter.
“Come with me.” Patricia leads Antonio to the hangar.
As they get closer to the hangar door, they spot two guards on duty. Patricia wonders why there were guards.
“Hey, guys, what’s up?”
“Nothing much Pat, we were sent here to guard your fighter.”
“You didn’t need to. No one can fly that fighter without me or Ghost.” She walks up and enters her code.
The door opens behind the guards. They turn around and look in. They hadn’t seen the fighter before.
“Come on in guys.” Patricia and Antonio walk in behind them.
“There he is. The Ghost Fighter. He’s the most advanced space fighter on this planet. There is nothing any nation has that can take him down
when he is in the air or space.” Patricia just stands and admire her fighter.
Antonio walks forward and runs his hands along the body. He has never seen the design before. Ghost had a light gray color to him with a white Ghost smoking a huge cigar, carrying a machine gun and a belt of bullets going across his chest.
“How fast is he?” Antonio was curious.
“His flight speed is ¼ the speed of light. And his hyperdrive allows me to cover the milky way galaxy. He’s the only fighter in Earth Force of
covering that type of distance. All the other fighters need the main carrier to carry them.”
“How come he is the only fighter capable of those speeds?” Antonio was curious why an advanced race would create only one type of fighter.
“Because, of my training and my unique abilities. The Ghost computer is a true AI computer, capable of thinking and reacting on its own. His memory engrams are based on my brainwave patterns because I accidentally merged with him when I shouldn’t have. That makes him unique.
No other AI computer since Ghost’s construction can do what he does. Now, as to why he is the only fighter capable of those speeds is simple.
He’s a ship killer. He was designed to strike first against our enemy.”
“But how come you were given a fighter like him?” Antonio was still confused.
“Because I was trained since my gift/ability surfaced to be his pilot. Ghost was built before my gift came to full strength. Plus, my unique
physiology is able to withstand forces that most humans and aliens can’t.” Pat was leaning against the fighter.
“What does the inside of your fighter look like?” Antonio wanted to see the inside.
Pat causes the bottom of the cockpit to lower down. She looks at him “go ahead and sit down and lean back.”
Antonio walks over and sits down on the seat and leans back. It starts closing and once it was sealed, Pat causes all the gauges and such to light up.
“Now you see why I’m the only one capable of flying this fighter.” Patricia's face appears on the HUD display.
Antonio looks at all the information he was getting off the gauges. It showed him how many missiles, energy levels, spatial location, GPS location and potential targets around their area and further.
“You can bring up any location on his screen.”
“How are you doing that?” Antonio heard Patricia’s voice coming from the speaker.
“I’ve merged with the fighter so much, it’s part of me.” Patricia had a grin on her face.
Antonio was amazed by the fighter. He feels himself being lowered to the ground.
“Why do you get in and out this way, inside of like a normal fighter?” As he stands up.
“Easier. The other way is harder for me to climb in and out.” Patricia stands up and walks over to him.
Antonio looks at Patricia “at first I thought you were crazy, but after seeing what you can do and this fighter craft. I’m convinced you are crazy.” He had a smile on his face.
‘I am crazy, but I’m crazy in a good way. Let’s go and get some lunch. The mountain has a nice cafeteria.” They head towards the cafeteria to
grab some lunch.
After lunch, Patricia gives Antonio a tour of the mountain complex. She shows him the alien craft they recovered. While she is walking and showing Antonio around, she gets a message from Ghost.
“Pat, I’m picking up a weird signal from space. It’s not on the normal channels, but it is of a carrier wave we have never encountered.”
“See if you can pinpoint it and I’ll send you up to investigate.”
Antonio saw that Patricia was occupied. She had stopped talking to him.
“What’s going on?”
“Oh, sorry. Ghost said he picked up on a weird signal. I’m going to send him up later to investigate since our daughter doesn’t like me flying.” Patricia places her hand on her belly.
They spend the rest of the day touring the place.
Patricia covers up another yawn as she sat at the conference table with all the scientist that she had recommended for Janet. She had been asked to come in and show them the message that the cube had programmed into it. Some of them didn’t know what to make of the message, while the other half of them were debating that it could be fake. However, when Patricia showed them the rest of the message and what the alien that was heading their way looked like.
They shut up and started brainstorming. Janet invited the Chief of Staff of the Air Force to the mountain complex. She was an old family friend of Mrs. Blake's and has always been trustworthy. She also invited the current Chief of Staff for Nasa as well.
The Chief of Staff for Nasa Kelly Huggins was amazed at the information she learned about the alien vessel and the artifacts Janet brought back from Mars. She was also shocked to learn about Patricia and her floating computer Ghost. Right, now the problem is preparing for the invasion heading their way.
They were going to need resources, supplies, and ships. However, getting every nation and government to work together will be the problem.
“You know they will want proof of this invasion.” Nicole Hader’s knew proof was going to be the one thing all of the governments will require.
“The problem is, I can’t get you that proof in the condition I’m in currently.” Patricia looks at everyone.
She had to explain how she went from being five weeks pregnant, to being six months pregnant. Luckily her daughter allowed her to drive to the mountain complex, without making her sick. She still couldn’t pilot Ghost or go above a certain speed, without feeling sick.
“Is there another pilot that we could train to use your fighter?” Nicole Hader was curious if they could train someone else to fly her fighter.
“Nope, no one can fly my fighter, except me. However, maybe we can modify one of the vectors to act as a space fighter. It wouldn’t take to long to modify them. The only thing is, they won’t be able to hyper-jump like Ghost, but they could move around in the system.” Patricia figures two of the Vectors could be modified.
“If that is the case, then we would need pilots for them.” Nicole figures she could start looking through her pilot’s and see which ones would be qualified.
“They are going to need space training. I think Nasa would be better at training them.” Patricia looks over towards Kelly.
“I can handle that.” Kelly figures that Nasa could develop a training program for them.
“Ghost and I can help you with that. Mrs. Janet can build the simulator’s they are going to need to train in.” Patricia knew whoever flew Vectors are going to need the training to handle their unique controls.
“Once we have proof that there are aliens. We could go to the United Nations and petition them to talk to their governments about helping us develop our defenses.” Janet knew it was going to take every nation working together.
“What about the public? How do we keep this from them?” Larry Howell knew it would cause problems if the public knew.
“We keep everything in house and have whoever sign up with us sign, national security disclosure forms.” Nicole figures they could still follow some military order.
The next few hours they draw up plans and guidelines for the coming forces. They finally call it quits around eleven o’clock. It was quarter after eleven o’clock when Patricia finally left the mountain complex. She could have stayed and slept in her quarters, but she promised Antonio she would be home.
She called ahead to let him know she was on the way home. The dynamics of their relationship has changed a lot since she has become pregnant. He worries about her, even though she can protect herself. She is sitting at a stoplight waiting for it to turn when she starts picking up a signal from her implant. It was on the same frequency that Ghost detected.
She tries to triangulate the signal. Instead of going straight towards Antonio’s house, she turns left instead and follow the signal to its source. She sends Ghost a signal, letting him know where she was heading and have him prepare himself for immediate takeoff.
The direction the signal was coming from, lead her out into the desert. After a few minutes, the signal stops. Patricia pulls over on the side of the road and leaves her Ferrari parked. She grabs a flashlight out of her purse and her handgun. It’s been a while since she has had a reason to use it.
She walks towards the location of the signal and couldn’t believe that all she saw was more desert.
She shines her flashlight around looking for the source of the signal. She reaches out with her ability and could detect something, but she couldn’t see it. She reaches forward with her hand, trying to detect if whatever it was, that was transmitting the signal was cloaked. After trying for fifteen minutes to locate whatever was transmitting the signal. She uses her ability to locate it, using the same signal.
Her ability locks onto it and she spots it hovering high up in the air.
“Gotcha.! Come to mommy.” Patricia makes the small cone/ball-like object come to her.
Her ability allows her to disarm all the safety devices the thing had built into it. Once it was in her hands “I wonder where you came from?”
Patricia heads back to her Ferrari and put the thing in the passenger seat. She’ll examine it later to learn its secret. She heads home and when she pulls into the driveway. She spots Antonio waiting for her as she parks the car.
“Hi, sweetie.” Patricia gets out of the car.
Antonio looks at Patricia as she gets out of her car. He still couldn’t over the fact she was carrying his baby and was six months pregnant.
“Did you forget that your pregnant and shouldn’t be chasing after things in the middle of the night?” He walks over towards her.
“Sweetie, I may be pregnant and a little awkward, but I have a fighter that can shoot the flea’s off a dog this far away like it was nothing.” Patricia knew her center of balance was off because of her belly.
“Look, Pat, you can’t be taking chances while you’re pregnant. You have to think about our daughter’s safety.” Antonio didn’t want anything to happen to their baby girl.
“I’ll try to be more careful, okay?” She places a kiss on his cheek. She had to stand on her toes to kiss him.
Antonio returns the kiss. He looks at her “what did you find while you were out tracking that signal?”
“This.” Patricia pulls the probe out of her car.
“What is that?” Antonio has never seen anything like it before.
“If I had to guess since I haven’t examined it closely. It’s a communication probe with cloaking technology.”
“Is it safe to bring into the house and for you to be holding it close to the baby?” Antonio was concerned.
“Yes, to both questions. I turned it off and disable all the safety precautions it had. It’s harmless and a little heavy as well.” Patricia had it resting against her chest.
“Here, let me carry that.” Antonio takes it from Pat.
“Thanks.”
“You’re welcome. Now get your pregnant self into the house.” Antonio grins after saying that.
“Fine, daddy.” Patricia heads inside the house with Antonio following behind her.
She heads towards the bedroom and puts on a light nightgown, while Antonio puts the probe in his home office. When he walks into the bedroom, he spots Patricia already in bed. He strips out of his clothes and lays down next to her. He spoons against her back and rest his hand on her belly.
He feels the baby kick. A smile appears on his face “maybe after this little girl is born. We should have another one, so she’ll have a sibling?”
“Sounds good to me. I know what it’s like to grow up without a brother and sister.” There were times Patricia hated not having any siblings.
Antonio looks down at Patricia as she slept. He knew the alarm clock went off at least twice already. He leans down and places a kiss on her cheek. He’ll take the probe she brought home last night to the mountain complex for her.
He walks into his office and picks it up and carry it out to his truck. He goes to start the truck, but the starter wouldn’t cooperate with him. He walks back inside the house and leaves a note for Patricia informing her, he had to take her Ferrari, because the starter on the truck had gone out.
As he pulls up to the security gate, he shows his security pass. Since he was a Deputy Sheriff and Patricia was taking responsibility for him. Janet okayed a security pass for him.
Once the gate guard clears him. He heads towards the entrance Patricia normally uses with the probe. He wonders if Roger was going to be on duty as he walks in carrying the probe.
Roger was updating the security log when he spots Antonio walking in. He wonders where Patricia was and why she wasn’t with Antonio?
“Morning Antonio, where’s Pat?”
“She’s at home sound asleep. I didn’t have the heart to wake her this morning. She found this last night on her way home. Where do I take it?”
“What is it?” Roger looks at the object and wonders what it was.
“According to Patricia, she said it was a cloaked communication probe,” Antonio remembered that piece of information from his conversation with Pat last night.
“I’ll escort you up to command.” Roger summons one of the roving security officers to his station to take over, till he gets back.
“Follow me.” Roger leads Antonio to the main elevator.
Just as the elevator doors open, Samantha comes walking out with Captain Johnny Burns. The expression on her face wasn’t a happy one.
“Is everything okay, Sam?” Roger was concerned.
“Don’t have time to talk right now, Roger.” Samantha couldn’t believe someone had broken into their facilities in Coconino County.
Roger watches as Sam and Captain Burns walk down the corridor that leads to his checkpoint. Both of them had a concerned look on their face. Especially, Roger, he has never seen Sam that unhappy before.
“I wonder what has Samantha so unhappy?”
“Who is Samantha and what does she do here?” Antonio couldn’t recall if Patricia ever mentioned Samantha’s name.
“She’s the chief engineer of the aeronautics division of Aero Flight. She is also Mrs. Blake’s second-oldest daughter and holds several Ph.D.’s
in engineering, physics, and along with several other degrees.”
“Damn, I wonder what it is like to be that smart?” Antonio didn’t know anyone with an IQ that high.
“Who knows, all of Mrs. Blake’s children’s have high IQ’s.” Roger knew Ivy was the most normal among them, but she still had a genius-level IQ.
“Who was that man that was walking with her?” Antonio didn’t meet him on his visit to the mountain complex.
“That would be inspector Johnny Burns. He used to work for the CIA before he was almost killed. He was working overseas in Russia when his team was discovered by the KGB. Mrs. Blake’s twin sister happened to be in Russia doing a show and rescued them. The Russian government is still trying to figure out how she did it.” Roger still thinks it funny.
“Whose Mrs. Blake’s twin sister and what does she do?”
“That would be Janet Elizabeth Wolfhart A.K.A. Rainbow. She’s a doctor like her sister, but she is also a stage magician. She worked her way
through college performing magic tricks. She’s also one of the greatest escape artists around. She’s managed to escape from some of the most escape-proof cells and devices.” Roger saw a video recording over at Ivy’s place of her aunt.
The elevator finally stops at the command level. When the door opened, Antonio saw the same two guards from his visit.
Roger and Antonio walk up to the guards “we need to speak with Mrs. Blake.”
They step aside and open the door for them.
“Thanks, guys.”
Roger spots Ivy talking to her mother when he and Antonio walk into command. He spotted Ghost floating nearby. Janet and Tammi were going over some information they received recently from one of Aero Flight's satellites in orbit.
“I got a gift for you, courtesy of Patricia.” Antonio sets the probe down on the table they were standing at.
“Where’s Patricia?” Janet was curious.
“She’s home sound asleep still. She might be enhanced and such, but I think her pregnancy is taking a toll on her body.”
“Normally her body would have adjusted naturally as the baby grew inside her. However, since one of your great-grandchildren advance her pregnancy by accident. She is playing catch up with the changes done to her body. She should be back to semi-normal by the end of the week.” Janet figures since Pat went from being five weeks to be six months, it threw her body chemistry off.
“Did she tell you what this semi-cylinder object is?” Janet was looking at the probe.
“She said it is a communication probe with cloaking technology. She shut it down last night before bringing it home.” Antonio wonders if they could reactive it.
Janet looks towards Ghost “can you reactivate it and give us a diagram on what it is like inside?”
“I can access Patricia’s memories and see what she got from it.” Ghost sends the signal to Patricia’s implant and accesses her memories.
He could tell she was still asleep as he goes through her memories. He finds the information he is looking for and download it to his memory banks.
“Did any of you know, he could do that?” Antonio looks at Janet, Tammi, Ivy and Roger.
He noticed Roger was standing next to Ivy.
“It makes sense for him to be able to do that, considering how connected they are to each other.” Janet figured they would have some sort of deep connection.
“Well, it is kind of creepy. He can see any of her memory he wants to.” Antonio couldn’t understand having that type of connection, Ghost and Patricia have.
Once Ghost had everything he needed from Patricia’s mind. He ends the connection.
“That was all she had.” Ghost brings the information upon the holo-screen the table had.
Antonio glance at his watch and notices he was late for work “look, I’m late for work. So, I’ll see you guys and gals later.”
“I’ll walk you out.” Roger follows with Ivy following behind them.
They head back the way Roger and Antonio came. She holds Roger’s hand while they are in the elevator. When it stops, she walks with them towards Roger’s guard station.
“Antonio, can you tell Pat I need to talk to her later, please?” Ivy wanted to ask Patricia a question.
“I won’t see her, till I get off today.”
“That’s fine, just let her know when you do see her.”
“I will. You guys have a nice day.” Antonio heads out to Patricia’s Ferrari and heads to work.
Patricia wakes up around noontime and heads towards the bathroom. She really had to pee. The baby was resting against her bladder. She felt more rested since she found out she was six months pregnant.
Normally, she wouldn’t be so drain like she is, because of her enhanced endurance. It meant she only needed four hours of sleep. However, since her pregnancy was accelerated it taxed her body. After cleaning herself and washing her hands, she heads towards the kitchen and spotted the note Antonio left her.
She reads the note and couldn’t believe he took her Ferrari. She grabs the orange juice container out of the refrigerator and pours herself a nice tall glass. She'll go outside after drinking her juice and take a look at his truck. Maybe she could fix it for him. She turns the television on and sees if there is anything she should be aware of.
She felt Ghost search her brain about the probe she found last night. She turns the television off, as she heads into the bedroom and change into a pair of blue jeans and put on one of Antonio’s t-shirt. She spots the spare keys to the truck and heads outside to see what the problem was.
True to Antonio’s word, the starter had gone out on the truck. She accesses a Youtube video to see how you remove a starter.
She jacks the truck up some, so she can crawl underneath it to remove the starter. Some of the bolts holding the starter on were being a pain in the butt but, she manages to loosen them. She makes a mental call for an Uber driver to come by and pick her up. She slides her cellphone she had delivered to her in her back pocket and grab her bank cards. While she waits for the Uber driver, she wraps the starter up.
The driver finally shows up and he takes her to the nearest auto parts store. She feels weird letting someone else drive her. When they arrive at the auto parts store “would you mind waiting for me, while I go in and get a new starter?”
“Not at all, ma’am.” Ralph couldn’t believe the short pregnant red hair girl in the back of his car.
Ralph watches as she gets out and walks into the store. Ralph liked how her ass looked. He wouldn't mind going on a date with her.
Cathy was manning the counter when a short pregnant red hair woman comes walking up to the counter. She could see that the woman was well along in her pregnancy.
“What can I do for you, ma’am?”
“I need a new starter for a 2005 Ford F250 with a 6.0L engine.”
“Is it automatic or manual?”
“Automatic.” Pat waits while the parts clerk looks the starter up.
“We have it in stock and it will cost you $250.00 dollars.”
“That’s fine. Here’s the core.” Pat pushes the old starter towards the clerk.
Cathy goes in the back and pulls the new starter. She carries it back to the front and shows Pat the new one.
“That’s the right one.” Pat pulls her credit card from her pants pocket and hands it to the clerk.
Cathy notices everything she had to enter for the warranty was already done and approved. She looks at it and wonders how it had been completed. She runs the credit card and the charge is accepted.
“Here you go, ma’am. Have a nice day.” Pat had a smirk on her face as she picks the new starter up and walks out of the store.
“Okay, I’m back. Can you stop at the nearest Hardee’s, please?”
“I don’t allow any eating in my car, ma’am.” Ralph looks at Pat in the rearview mirror.
“That’s fine. I’ll eat the food when I get home. You know how pregnant women are.” Pat thinks about causing his car to mess up but doesn’t.
They go through Hardee’s drive-thru. She orders some food for herself and places an order for Ralph as well. Once she has her order, Ralph takes her back to where he picks her up.
Ralph drops Patricia off and gets a good tip and review from her.
Patricia eats the three roast beef sandwiches she bought, before installing the new starter on Antonio’s pickup truck. She sends a mental text to Antonio informing him his truck works now. Pat cleans up the driveway and heads inside the house. She was hot from working on the truck.
Antonio had gotten teased about driving Patricia’s Ferrari to work. Everyone wanted to know who it belonged too. Some of his friends had met Patricia and wondered how she could afford the car. All Antonio would tell them was that she was a test pilot and was very good at what she did.
He hears his cellphone going off, letting him know a text arrived. He looks at it.
“Hi sweetie, I fixed your pickup truck. Love you, Pat."
A smile appears on Antonio’s face.
The rest of the day Patricia does the dirty laundry and remakes the bed. She was in a conversation with Ghost as she worked around the house. She felt like she was going to enjoy domestic lives, instead of being in space all the time.
Antonio pulls into his driveway and notices his truck had been moved. He walks over and tries it, and it starts up right away. He cuts the truck off and smiles as he heads inside the house.
“Hi, honey. I’m home.” He smelled something delicious floating in the air.
“Hi, sweetie.” Patricia comes out of the kitchen and gives Antonio a kiss.
Antonio returns the kiss. He looks at her and could see she was in a relaxed mood.
“You look happy.”
“I am. I think I’m going to enjoy being a stay at home mother.” Patricia wasn’t going to give up flying.
“We’ll see how you feel after the baby is born.”
The two of them head into the kitchen.
