Family Business Part 2

Mouse stretches as she is slowly wakeing-up. She looks towards the window in the bedroom she slept in last night. She enjoyed the Broadway show she went and saw last night. She just lay there and stares up at the ceiling. She was trying to motivate herself to get out of bed. She lays there for a few more minutes, before getting up and slipping her house robe on.

She walks into the kitchen and looks through the cabinets. She wanted to see what breakfast items her uncle had the place stock with. She spotted some of her favorites from home and some American coffee as well.

The Summer I could never Forget

I look out of the window of my room, in a senior citizens' home. It's been so long, since I last left the confines of the estate. As I hobble down dimly-lit hallways, past drably uniformed nurses wheeling residents in and out of their rooms, I let my feet take over. A pair of wrinkled, weary feet, aged from the thrills experienced over the course of a lifetime. Amazing how they still work so well- I barely need my stroller at all.

The Death of Angels

“Where am I?”
“You are in Salem, Salem, Massachusetts. Do you know where that is,” Mom asked?
“I kind of know where it is, but I am more afraid when this is. You said something about witches, I’m hoping we are not back when they had witch trials there,” Glory said. “And just before I crawled up the mattress and stuck my head out, I was a boy.”
