Today, November 20, 2023 is the Transgender Day of Remembrance.

I have long had a concern for the rights and protection of Transgender individuals, including those who are gender-nonconforming and others in the LGBTQ community. But I think it's become more personal and important in the year since I began my own transition. So this year I decided to do something specific.

A short rant.

I published a story that had plenty of Trans content, but also Female Domination, Bondage, BDSM, Slavery the whole 9 Fetish yards really. It had the caution warnings, then had more added because apparently people ignore the content warnings and read anyway.

It got comments of the ewww and not for here, and can you not write sweet gentle stories like wot we want?

As I have ran through several edits to the story I realized how much was not fully explained and how I could extend the middle. I plan to have Tai relive each day, but, much like an episode of Star Trek TNG (Cause and Effect), slight changes are made each time she relives the day.
I also wanted to know if it is required to show more of what happens to during these loops.

As it's been awhile, thought I'd babble on the current progress drafting Hope's Light. It's going fairly well so far, the draft is somewhere between a third and a half written. Still tons more to do, but it's certainly building that snowball of momentum down the mountainside which becomes the omg avalanche by the end.

Since Google search and results was part of a recent blog I thought this was interesting.

I recently discovered asstr.org was gone. Apparently its been gone a while, but its not somewhere I went often. It did have an archive of stories called Old Joe's Collection. This had a TG section of stories from when I started reading them on Usenet. Usenet was the internet's message boards before the web was invented.

I'm afraid that I'm away all day on Saturday attending a national dormouse conference. I'll be leaving home with a friend at Sparrow fart and returning home late so I won't have time to write Bike, sorry and all that.

I am feeling a bit downhearted and discouraged because of the extremely lackluster sales of Transitioning Home and Hands of the Morri.

Ask yourself -- if I tried to call up Big Closet on my computer and it was unavailable and appeared to be gone forever, what would I do?

If your answer is something along the lines of – that wouldn’t be a problem for me I would simply spend more time reading on _____ or writing stories for _____ -- then you are probably more of a taker than a giver in regard to this site – and that is understandable.

For me . . . the existence of BC is a huge part of my life. I give to BC to maintain that part of me.

I've been thinking of taking the plunge and attempting to publish on Amazon Kindle. I've read some books there and a few of them have been from BCTS authors, though some of the others could have been but were done in the stealth mode. I'm not planning to out anyone.
They are my three oldest stories, and I think that all three are large enough to interest Amazon. I'm not terribly worried about my editing work because I recently read a very long book there that passed but still needed a lot of editorial work, though the story was quite engaging.

I had a doctor's appointment to day at the Sunset Kaiser Clinic. It was simply a yearly wellness check. After seeing the doctor I needed to use the restroom. I've been going to the doctor totally en femme for about six or seven years now and I've been to the restroom there several times. As I refuse to use the men's room while not masquerading an average male, I've always used the women's room.

Today was the first time I encountered this sign outside the restroom.

I took a peek at my unfinished stories, and all I can say is "yuck"

none of them are any good right now, and I just don't seem to have the ability to fix them

so I think I might be done producing stories for the foreseeable future.

Dreams lately are perhaps impossible to separate from wakefulness. This morning I dreamed about writing a short story that would undoubtedly draw fire from some, or many, or even most. It would make use of every thing I can remember of all disciplines religious, scientific, mystical, and things without names. I don't know if it would include TG content because I haven't written it yet, still trying to recover from the dream, perhaps nightmare. I don't know if I can publish something here and not allow comments? I won't ask if anyone wants to read this one.

Well, I am finally recovering from the flu, and so is my mom.

maybe now I can get back to writing . . .

I've written a short story that has several scenes involving U.S. Army personnel, set during the war in Afghanistan, mostly at Bagram. So, I'm trying something different. A couple things, I guess. I'm writing a Halloween story, and I haven't done one of those before. It's not done, but I've posted the first part today. I plan to post a chapter a day until the 31st, so the clock is now ticking. I have to figure out how it ends, write it, edit it, and get it posted, between now and Halloween. I haven't done that to myself before either. My problem, I think, is that I don't have enough stress in my life!

I hope you enjoy the story.

I have recently spent more time as Leeanna in public. I never got a hostile or second glace, apart from some guy checking out my legs when the wind lifted my dress above the knee.

I learned most people will pass you by as they are not interested. I spent a few days on the Essex coast with a very kind gentleman who has been encouraging me to spend more time as my other self. Over the weekend I spent longer as Leeanna than I have ever before.

I must apologize to Erin and BC and all of the wonderful authors that have not only gifted us with their stories, but have allowed their stories to be published on Amazon and others and have donated all of their proceeds back to BC.

I am a daily reader on BC and try my best to post positive comments on the stories I read. I think most would agree, we have excellent writers on BC and their stories are very entertaining. Some of them elicit literally dozens of comments and are quite interactive.

Coulda sworn it was my mums birthday, 31st of October, just the one night if i recall but you wouldn't think so by the shops and decorations that have been festooning the streets for the last fortnight!

If you’ve stuck with Toni With An i from Part 1 to Part 2 (I know, two long parts in quick succession, I only have a third chapter completed at the moment, so don’t worry) you’ll have noticed a change in how explicit it is. There’s definitely going to be moments where bodies are to the fore. Bodies and all the feelings around them simply are a part of who everyone is, trans or not. I wanted to let readers know, however, this isn’t a pure smut story, or even a mostly smut story, which I know would be atypical for this site; this community I’ve just joined as a new author.

"If It Was Your Husband" 15 and 16 is up. Much of the angst of the previous chapters has dissipated and our characters settle into a relationship approaching the status quo before all this happened.

Carrie seems to have gotten a little better at communicating with Alex. Though Carrie is still guiding him in how to progress, Alex has a little bit of forewarning about what she wants and there's some open discussion about the next step.

Things will progress at a pretty quick rate from here to the final posting. (Just two more.)

Okay so last night, I had two dreams that were very different.

In the first, I was back in high school, and got word of something happening at my school.

I walked to the school, and found that several student had been killed, and others injured, in what appeared to be a mass shooting.

I joined the shocked survivors in the cafeteria, feeling helpless and guilty for not having been there.

no, its not the best of weeks for sure.

so yesterday I helped my aunt get to a dentist appointment, then took her grocery shopping, then mom and I did our own grocery shopping, and ended up going to Costco for paper products before making our way home.

I'd celebrate getting so much done, but I also popped my hip and pulled a muscle in my groin, and after I got home I broke my computer chair, so my celebration is kind of muted.

ah, well.

That was the first time I had over 100 kudos for a story since "Taken by the Grey Folk" in March.

I kind of have a feel for what goes down well on some of the different sites I submit stories on nowadays. On Bigcloset, my highest-rated stories were the first part of Surgeon's Lodger, The Assult, with The Substitute Housewife Part 1, and Seven Years as a Wife being the top two.

Some of those had sex in the stories, but most did not.
