Quick explanation and apology...

My apologies for those who viewed this page to find it blank, I made several mistakes that I'm just now able to fix. As for this story, it is a sub-story of my new serial Venus Cursed! These are not really meant to be stand-alone stories. They are meant merely to add a little to Venus Cursed! without weighing it down with details it doesn't really need. I think Venus Cursed! is better with them, but this way the reader has the easy option to skip over them or read them at their leisure. There will probably only be four of these Dreams.

Title Pages

erin's picture

Title pages are created with the |+TitlePage| link at the top of every screen. :) You created fiction pages, same as any other story. That will work but fiction/story/storylink/wysiwyg pages go right to the front page.

I can change the fiction pages you made to title pages so they don't appear in story page listings, but only in title page listings. I'll do that, okay?

Also, filing a new story under "New Serials" is a way that the editors use to attract my attention that something needs to be filed correctly. As it happens, that was exactly the right thing to do. :)

Hugs,
Erin

Thanks! I think I've made

Thanks! I think I've made that mistake before, sorry I'm such a slow learner! I did just about everything wrong on this, starting with trying to post it when I had a very limited amount of time to work on it. Sorry for all the trouble Erin, thank you!

Links: FWIW...

...As I write this on 7/2, none of the internal links between the Dreamwalker and Venus Cursed stories work for me, other than the link from VC1 to VC2.

Sorry about that, I thought

Sorry about that, I thought I had them all working before I posted them. I forgot that Word separates some words that are in the links that can't be separated for the links to work. I also slightly changed the title on the Dreamwalker chapters so they'd sort better, which changed the link to them. They should all work now.

Gosh all this work behind the scenes

..and tehre was me oblivious. I posted a daft comment on one of the dreams wondering what it was all about, I'm afraid, though I really liked the feel of them as quick fragments.
But I'm even more impressed seeing that you're really doing a hypertext novel. I've never really read a story with optional links and additional fragments, but I love the idea.
All so clever

Yes, I did something

Yes, I did something slightly similar with KittyHawk and the Tails of KittyHawk, but only with the links at the bottom. Including the link within the story is new for me, too! But be careful, you're going to give me a big head with all this praise! ;)

Thanks Alice!
