I guess I should say happy new year to all.

I'm not sure if it will be one for me yet. So far the first thing I did was wish my dear departed mother a happy new year and then ball my eyes out as I just miss her so much.

Then I sang auld lang zyne to my cat.

A lonely new year for me indeed.

I'm sitting here in front of the TV myself. My oldest son had made plans to spend the evening with me, but ended up going out with a few of his cousins. My middle son is at a friends party, and my youngest and his girlfriend are playing designated driver for some friends. They have been stopping by in between trips, but mostly it's just me and the TV.

I hope your New Year gets better, and always remember that you have friends out here Sweetie!

Happy New Year as well to you. Things are not going well at the moment - eldest son is a BIG worry.

Happened on "Imagine - John Lennon" on Vancouver's Knowledge channel - was 3 hours long and brought lots of tears.

Keep the faith - I will be at the Club by noon then home to look after what has to be done.

ATB for 2014.

May the sun always shine on your parade

I share in your sentiments Jaci dear!

I did just about the same thing here. I'm holding out hope though for a better year than last (good riddance to 2013!). I wish you a happy & healthy New Year. Loving Hugs Talia

Please have a Happy New Year

Please have a happy new year, tears are not a bad thing and you will never lose the love your Mother has for you nor you for her. Nor, indeed for the Cat... ;)

But,

you have a cat to sing to! Not all of us do.

huggles, sis

big huggles from your girly (even if she'll never admit it) sister, Dottie.
